Although an older property, it was updated and very clean. The location perfectly fit our needs and expectations. This was the second time we rented this property and we would not hesitate to rent again.

Great location!

Adorable property!
Moved to the area and needed a place to stay until my closing date. This was perfect. Very homey. In the middle of everything, and still private. A few steps away from the water so you never have to worry about beach parking!

Perfect Flagler Beach getaway
Our stay at the adorable compound in downtown Flagler Beach FL was very enjoyable. We had a lovely outdoor patio space with our very own gekkos! It was located in the perfect place; we could pretty much walk everywhere! Our hosts were very responsive to any questions and concerns we had. I also love that it was animal friendly. I highly recommend it.

Quaint beach house
Andres is a great host and the property is in a fantastic location within walking distance of many restaurants and of course the beach. We had a minor issue with an odor that apparently wafted over from another unit and Andres was very helpful and responsive in addressing our concern. The pull out couch was a little dirty - hair and a few whole Doritos. However the rest of the house was clean and the location is great.

Cozy cottage in the middle of all the fun
We can't say enough nice things about the property! So close to shops, restaurants, and the beach - all within walking distance. The cottage was well-appointed and Andres made sure that we were stocked with the basics. We could completely relax and enjoy the laid-back vibe of Flagler Beach. Andreas is such a wonderful host who definitely goes the extra mile to satisfy his guests!

location... location ... location
We loved Flagler beach, the location of the cottage was awesome! A few steps from the beach and restaurants. The cottage was exactly as expected.. a beach cottage. We loved the charm ! The owners of the property did a wonderful job with providing the basic necessities from the kitchen to bathroom, having towels and linens provided was plus for me. The unit was super clean, we loved our stay in Flagler Beach and we will be back for sure, and lastly, thank you Andres for the wonderful little treat you left us! What a wonderful surprise!

peaceful escape
We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and restaurants, everything is at a walking distance. There is not much people in town which made us feel safe during this COVID time, the social distancing was naturally occurring. The Hisbicus house is cozy and confortable, perfect to relax and enjoy a good family time. Some Florida Springs are at a driving distance, so you can enjoy salt and fresh water. Two for the price of one!!!

Perfect Location
We had 5 adults. The one bed was ok but the mattresses in the two pull out couches were horrible. Let a day early because our backs just couldn’t handle sleeping there again.

Hi Regina, I'm sorry you were disappointed with the pull out couches. In the past, no one has complained, and on the contrary we have had excellent reviews for this unit. We will check the couches to ensure those mattresses are in good shape and if not replace them. One of the reasons we send a message upon arrival with my phone number asking to contact me if they need anything is to give guests the opportunity to raise any issue as soon as they arrive. Awesome Location-Great Space
This adorable little bungalow sits right in the center of town and offers an open floor plan with an abundance of space. The courtyard is very welcoming and perfect for enjoying the evenings outside and/or for reading a book during the day. Andres is awesome with communicating and a pleasure to work with. If we didn't plan on moving to the area full time, we would definitely come back and stay in the Hibiscus Cottage.

A Month in Heaven!
We had a wonderful time spending the month of July at this great place. The unit had everything we needed and the location is excellent - walking to the beach, our favorite corner bar and grill (Finns) and the Dollar Store. Location, Location, Location!
We had an awsome expereince in Flagler Beach. This cottage was very near to the beach and close to great places to eat, drink and recreate. Very enjoyable patio area, comfortable bed, great kitchen, and lots of TV channels that the kids had fun with. The owner was very attentive, and welcoming. We highly recommend this place.

We love Hibiscus Cottage!
We have stayed at Hibiscus Cottage in Flagler Beach, FL several times. And we do love it there. At this point, it feels like "coming home." It's right in the middle of town, you can walk in a minute to bars, restaurants, the pier and the beach. It's roomy for the two of us and our dog. And we love coffee out on the nice patio! Andre is a wonderful and responsive host. In fact, when we mentioned this time that the charcoal grill was kind of worn out, the next day a brand new one appeared. Amazing. What a great guy. We had a wonderful stay and will be back next year. Thanks for everything!

Another Day In Paradise
Our 8 week stay at Hibiscus Casas de la Playa met all of our expectations. The cottage is cozy, clean and comfortably furnished. All basic amenities at your fingertips. Location, location, location! Walk to many shops, restaurants and most important the beach. The owners go over and above to make your stay pleasant and memorable. Can't wait to go back next season.

We love this Cottage in Flagler Beach!
This very roomy one bedroom cottage in the heart of Flagler Beach is great. Andre, the owner, made sure all our needs were met. There is a nicely landscaped courtyard right outside the door. It is centrally located and we were able to walk to many places: local restaurants, bar and grills, ice cream shops, and gift shops. The Flagler Pier is only two blocks away. My husband even walked to the barber down the street to have his hair cut. It was a 2- minute walk to the beach for me. I ran on the beach almost everyday. Our dogs also loved it. We especially liked the 2-mile Betty Steflik Preserve Trail within walking distance and it is dog friendly. It meanders through marshes of the Intercoastal Waterway and is picturesque with wildlife viewing. We highly recommend the Hibiscus. It has an old Florida feel with modern amenities and afforded us semi-privacy right in the middle of the historic downtown Flagler Beach. We will be back! B. Griffin

Downtown Flagler rocks!
Great, clean and adorable spot. We stayed with our three young kids for just a couple days over Thanksgiving ....and it worked out perfectly. Being able to walk to so many restaurants (and ice cream shops) made this location a great fit for us. Also, the owner is great with communication....moreso than most...which is a great comfort :)

Lifesaver...
We evacuated from Charleston SC when we thought hurricane Florence was on it's way. We were in a panic trying to find a place not too far away from home that also took pets. Andres is a gracious host and was very empathetic to our situation. We were so lucky to find this little gem in Flagler Beach, FL. It had everything we needed. We even had a nice fenced in garden patio area to enjoy happy hour and dinner. So many things within walking distance and the beach is only a block away. Thanks for everything!

Best experience in Flagler!
The owner is amazingly gracious and kind. The unit is very clean, adorable and has more space in it than I thought it would. There is central air which kept the place cool. The sleeper sofa is great but I slept on the cushions as they were very comfortable and the couch is deep. Wonderful! Me and my friend had a great time. Flagler is a special place which is why I stay here every year for the last 5 or so years.

Wonderful Stay by the Ocean
We had a great time at Hibiscus. It was the perfect place to stay for our vacation. We had everything we needed and Andres is a great host. Although we were down town and half a block from the beach, we had our own garden patio to enjoy the great weather. Will come back again!

A place in the sun!
We had a wonderful time at the Hibiscus cottage. It was clean, well equipped and in walking distance to my restaurants. TheAtlantic Ocean was one block away. Great area for bicycles. We had no problems and we stayed for several weeks. Would like to do it again.

Great little place in a fantastic location
Hibiscus is a well decorated cottage right in the center of Flagler Beach. Easy walking distance to beach and restaurants, shops. Lots to do within a few blocks - farmer's market, First Friday events, etc. Importantly for pet owners, there's an empty grass parking lot next door. Parking off the street at the door is also important because Flagler can get crowdd on weekends. Several good local/small restaurants nearby. The cottage has a nice 50's ambiance, a cut above what we are used to at this price. Comfy bed, nice towels. Cute. Two closets in bedroom is a bonus. It has everything you need for an extended stay except for a washer/dryer, but there is a laundry about five blocks away. The furniture is more stylish than comfortable. Andres is a responsive and helpful host. Got back to me within 15 minutes every time I had a question. Really enjoyed the place and Flagler - we would highly recommend both.

100 yards to paradise
Literally still on-site, as we check out at 11, we loved our stay in the lil Hibiscus Cottage. It was night, cold and a wintry mix of of rain and fog when we got here for our visit but the nice bottle of wine was a good start to the NYE weekend. The heater worked better than the lack of curtains, and the walls are thin enough to require a YouTube white noise machine, so have a good, long sound clip on standby for a comfy night sleep for light sleepers. As I mentioned it was winter so we never needed to run AC or ceiling fans but the patio and always amazing restaurants and walks on the beach warmed you up perfectly!! The cottage was clean, well laid out and provided a great experience that we would suggest and come back to. Thanks, Cheers & Happy New Years!!

Perfect!!
The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. It is right in the main drag area so we could walk to dinner each night!! Thanks for a wonderful time and allowing fur babies to stay!!!

Casas de la Playa Has It All!
We stayed at the Hibiscus house at Casas del la Playa and Andres was a wonderful host! Everything we needed was right there ... full kitchen stocked with every convenience, plenty of colorful towels and sheets, and a beautiful welcome gift. And so close to all that Flagler Beach has to offer! Shops, night life, causal and fine dinning ... Can't ask for more! Would recommend Casas del la Playa to friends and family alike! Great location!
We always have a wonderful time at the Hibiscus you can't ask for a better location for a beach house rental in Flagler Beach. The cottage has everything you need and you are in the heart of down town Flagler Beach. Owners are very responsive and have 4 other cottages on property it would be a great place to have a family reunion and everyone has their own space Only negative no washer/dryer but there is a laundry mat near by

Nice Beach House
Stayed in Las Palmas and Hibiscus over the Thanksgiving holiday. Both properties were clean, neat and convenient to everything on the beach. Used the kitchens to cook some of my family's Thanksgiving meal and found that they had everything I needed. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. If you enjoy a truly laid back Florida beach vibe, Flagler Beach can't be beat. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Beach is only a block away. Farmers' market on Friday morning was great - bought everything for a breakfast there and took it back to the unit.
