petit hôtel charmant et bien situé
Petit hôtel de charme à la décoration British style. À deux pas de la gare. Accueil très sympa, mais chambre sans aucune vue car bouchée par le bâtiment voisin. Chambre sentant le renfermé, pas de clim. Petit déjeuner assez succinct, pas beaucoup de choix.

Frokosten alene er grunn til å dra. Da jeg var sliten etter skikjøring hele dagen, var det noe høyt støynivå fra baren under. Men kan ikke klage stort, hadde ett fantastisk opphold.

The weather was appalling which wasn’t your fault. The Ski Lodge is a fun place to stay, staff are friendly, rooms comfortable and food was good.

Boka inte våningssängs rummet
Bra service, trevlig personal, härlig miljö i lobby restaurang som för övrigt serverar en grymt frukost. Rummet en katastrof, boka inte rum med våningssäng. Trångt, 20 år gammal heltäckningsmatta med fläckar, inga lampor vid sängarna, iskallt golv i Wc/duschen som blir helt blött efter dusch. Sån tur var så var personalen väldigt trevliga.

Hej Patrick, Tack för att du tar dig tid att ge oss feedback. Vi är ett litet hotell och vi vill alltid bli bättre. Alla tankar och idéer är till stor hjälp för oss. Att vår personal är hjälpsam och trevlig gör oss otroligt glada och stolta. Alla tips om vad vi kan förbättra är det som gör oss bättre. Vi hoppas att vi ses snart igen och att ni väljer ett av våra större, rymligare rum.

Bra hotell på alla sätt utom att mina vänner först fick sova i ett rum som luktade pannrum. De fick byta men konstigt att de ens har detta rum som boende...

Receptionist Grazia was amazing, welcoming us and providing us with good hiking suggestions. The room was very, very tiny though and we were just happy we weren't there much and that we did not have all our mountain sports gear with us. Price/value ratio very disappointing in that sense. The condition of the room, shower, building etc is not very good, needs some upkeep, renovation. Breakfast was good and location next to station and close to city center was also good.

Kommer tillbaka!
Fantastiskt fint bemötande så väl i receptionen & baren, som hos städerskan & frukostpersonalen. Alla tre trätter vi åt på restaurang Konrad var utmärkta och med riktigt fin service även här. Detta hotell är personligt och charmigt och fullt av liv.

Great Stay!
Everyone at the Ski Lodge was very welcoming, helpful, and nice. The room was cute and sufficient for the two of us. They provided us with a great free buffet breakfast. Only compliant is in regard to Engelberg and not the hotel-- the area is very pricey (restaurants and shops).

Perfect little hotel in a great location!
Upon arriving at the Engelberg Train Station the hotel is within view and ideally located on the one edge of town, close to Mount Titlis. Upon check-in, my room was upgraded free of charge and I was more than pleased with the room size, cleanliness, and amenities. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable with a nice bar for after a day on the slopes and the food was good as well. A hearty breakfast was included and I enjoyed it very much. There are shuttle buses which transport travelers from the town to the mountain but I didn't need to use the buses as the hotel was only about 1/4 mile from the mountain lifts and backs up to a nice walking/bike path which goes direct to the mountain. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed chatting with them. Checkout was a smooth process and I was even able to make arrangements for a later checkout since the room was not needed for the rest of the day. I was very happy with my stay, and would certainly go back the next time I'm in Engelberg.

Härlig weekend på ett bra hotell med superbra mat och riktigt bra vinkunskaper. Ganska bra frukost och mestadels hjälpsam personal men ett minus att övervägande majoritet är svenskar. Lite som att äta och bo på ett hotell i Stockholm.

The place to stay when in Engelberg.
Vi var 3 venner som bodde på hotellet i 4 netter. Hotellet passet oss utmerket. God stemning i baren, meget god mat og vin på restauranten. Livlig, men ikke party-faktor hotell. Betjeningen var veldig hyggelig. Skibussen går 20m fra hotellet. Engelberg er ikke et sted for løypekjøring. Få, smale og bratte bakker. I Januar ligger Titlisanlegget i skyggen og får kun et par timers sol midt på dagen. Hvis du skal til Engelberg for å stå på ski, bo på Ski-Lodge.

Jätte härligt och genuint ställe där man trivs och med en atmosfär som gör att man vill komma tillbaka. Fantastisk god mat i det paket vi bokade för vår vistelse. Omöjligt att inte trivas.

Ski Lodge ligger mycket bra till om man kommer med tåg, precis utanför järnvägsstationen men utan att man störs av tågen. Där finns också en station för de många gratisbussar som tar en till de olika liftarna. Trevlig personal som gjorde allt för att få gästerna att trivas, och gav många bra tips om både restauranger, backar, aktiviteter mm. Rummen är i hyfsat skick med sköna sängar, även om det är lite småskavanker och märken så det syns att det var några år sedan den stora renovationen. Bra med skidrum i källaren där pjäxor kan torkas. Den dagen som vi checkade ut åkte vi skidor, och det var mycket uppskattat att då få låna ett rum med dusch där vi på eftermiddagen kunde fräscha till oss innan avresan.

Wir hatten zwei Nächte gebucht und freuten uns auf die Abreise. Das Zimmer war kalt, feucht und hellhörig, im 4. Stock ohne Aufzug und nur über eine schmale, ausgetretene Treppe erreichbar. Im Zimmer keine Schränke oder Kommoden um das Reisegepäck zu verstauen! Winziges Bad ohne Ablagemöglichkeiten. Kleine, antiquierte Dusche. Die Matratzen sind komfortabel, nur die breite Besucherritze stört - Ikea-Romantik! Das Servicepersonal ist jung und freundlich, aber nicht vom Fach oder geschult. Das Frühstück entspricht dem Standard einer Jugendherberge. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und der Skibus startet direkt vor der Haustür. Die Hotel-Bar ist ein Treffpunkt der angereisten Freerider-Szene und zum Apero zu empfehlen! Insgesamt ist das Hotel erheblich überteuert und nicht für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet!

Best Hotel Experience in Europe!!
We've been in Europe over the past 3 weeks, and have stayed at numerous hotels but none can compete with the quality, convenience and experience at Ski Lodge, Engelberg. What made the stay for us was the wonderful hospitality from Lina, from the minute we checked in she was helpful, generous and so accomodating. She organised a private breakfast room for us the next morning before our day trip to Mt Titlis, in a seperate room so that we would not be bothered by a large group who were also due for an early breakfast. The breakfast spread was amazing, and the views from our room...breathtaking!! The room itself was well laid out, with plenty of space and clean amenities and well appointed. We only stayed one night, and even after check out - Lina was kind enough to let us store our luggage during our trip to Mt Titlis, and even let us come back to the hotel afterward to recharge our cameras and iPad, and she even printed out our train confirmations for us. All these little things meant the world to us, and we are still so grateful. My partner proposed to me that afternoon on Mt Titlis, so we will definitely be back to Engelberg, and to the Ski Lodge to relive the memories. Thanks again for such a memorable stay :)
