Great home base
Really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. I loved how it’s a short drive from downtown Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, and Vineyard Haven, so we really got to explore the island.

Everything was Great
My family shared with me that I did a great job finding this home. We would definitely return! Since we were attending a wedding and came from the West Coast, we needed a iron and ironing board. My recommendation would be to provide a standard size ironing board that is adjustable in height. The one provided sits on a table and isn’t easy to use.

Lovely home

Wonderful home - everything beat expectations
We were there for 3-nights and wish we could have stayed all summer. Kitchen has everything you need - house was spotless. Great location close to everything but off the main drag so it was very quiet. Had the weather cooperated we would have loved to use the bikes, kayaks and/or beach paraphernalia that was in the basement. Check in was easy. Fantastic few days in Martha's Vineyard!

Family Wedding
We stayed at this property with my our family to attend my son's wedding in Edgartown. Location was perfect! House was super cute and clean. Had everything we needed would highly recommend this house.

Weekend stay
Comfortable home. Met our needs. Outdoor furniture could use a refresh. Not really walkable to downtown Edgartown. Suggest bringing bikes or car to more easily get around. 11 AM check out would be preferred. I should have asked owner ahead of time.

Ellen, you left our home 2.5 hours later than the checkout time posted on our website which was very clear and we also sent you checkin instructions with that information. We let people stay later if no one is checking in the day you depart so we are flexible. I believe a car on the vineyard is always a must as there is so much to see. You could also have left our home a bit tidier and our cleaners were rushing to clean before our next guests arrived so maybe following the checkout instructions in the future would be greatly appreciated. Short but Sweet Trip to Martha's Vineyard
We were only in town for two nights but really enjoyed our stay! The house was very neat and orderly as well as the nice landscaping! We did not have a car so, initially, getting to where we wanted to go was a bit of a challenge and Ubers are scarce this time of year. When we realized that a bus stop was at the end of the road it made all the difference in how we felt. From that point on, we had no issues coming and going. We also used a taxi when dealing with our luggage. I would definitely stay here again!

Great House in the Heart of MV
My family and I just enjoyed a 10-day stay at this lovely house conveniently located between Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. The house was immaculate and had plenty of nice amenities. We visited State Beach several times and were able to utilize some items from the house: beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and a cooler. There were kayaks and bikes locked away, but it might be possible to have the owner provide access. The upstairs beds (queen and king room) were very comfortable. We utilized the central AC several times on the vacation, and it kept those rooms cool. The downstairs room was used by two of our kids. It often got warm, but usually by the evening a little breeze would cool the room off. The kitchen was well equipped, and we cooked meals quite often. There was no ice maker but plenty of trays to make ice for the day. Overall, this is a beautifully renovated home on a quiet street away from the bustle of the towns. However, we had easy access to the three major towns with everything we could need. I highly recommend this house to anyone wishing to stay on the island for an extended stay.

Curtis, thanks for the nice review. Due to our crazy legal system we do not allow use of our bikes and kayaks for liability reasons as well. We do have an automatic ice maker in our brand new refrigerator but you need to turn the on button for ice and lastly, we have central air in our gone with 2 comfort zones and have had no issues with that in 12 years of owning our home. Great home base on the island!
My family had the best stay here. We were in town for a family wedding and wanted to all stay together, Stephen was very responsive and helpful. Even suggested a great spot for lunch once we arrived. House was clean and looked just like the pictures, we loved hanging on the deck and porch. Definitely recommend!

Relaxing Vacation
The house was in a very relaxing area, we even saw deer in the backyard one morning. The grocery store was just down the road which was very convenient. House was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Would definitely recommend this property!! Thank You!

The property was as described, exceptional condition, and centrally located between Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. The property was very spacious - we had 5 adults on our trip. We did use a car, but bikes would be doable as well. Great experience overall.

Perfect for multi-family stay.
First trip to the island the the location was fantastic. Central to Edgartown, Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. Dirt road but well maintained. 1 Bedroom down for the grand-parents and 2 upstairs for the parents and kid. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Too far to walk to town but off-season you would drive anyway and we liked the quietness of the evening and night.

My sister and I loved our quiet stay at this house.
The house was very nice and immaculately clean. Everything a renter would need while on vacation was provided for in this wonderful house. We loved the skylights over the beds, and the easy to start gas fireplace. The location was convenient, and we especially loved downtown Edgartown. Stephen had provided many of the basic stock supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, salt & pepper, soaps, air fresheners, tissues, etc.), and we found we brought up way to much! He even has body wash gel, shampoo and conditioner in a dispenser in the showers. There were night lights put in to every room and hall, so we always felt safe moving at night. There were TVs in each bedroom, as well as ceiling fans. There was a great amount of storage space, as well. Stephen is quick to respond to any needs and very pleasant. We highly recommend staying at this treasure of a find!

Wonderful property
This vacation was our 3rd or 4th time staying at this property, which should tell you all you need to know since if we didn’t enjoy it, we wouldn’t keep coming back. It is always meticulously clean and in a great location. I also love that we don’t have to bring our own linens which cuts down on packing and car space. Steve is great about answering any questions you might have. We highly recommend this property.

No issues except the house had not been cleaned, perhaps due to a bad storm the day before arrival. Cleaners came immediately after calling owner. Very,well equipped kitchen, good beds, could use better towels and living room chairs. Very good for kyakers, bikers.

Richard, we do purchase new very comfortable towels once per year to make sure that everything is great for our guests. Our furniture is fairly new but we also plan to purchase new furniture in the next year. We try to please everyone but we know it is impossible to do that due to different tastes. Clean, cute home for quick Vineyard stay
Unfortunately the weather and ferry cancellations delayed our trip for a day so we only got a quick one night visit on the island, but the home was clean, large, well equipped and comfortable for two couples, we could've easily fit a third. I think having a car at this property would've been helpful as its in a residential area but again, ferry cancellations kept us from being able to bring over the car so we made it work! Would definitely rent this property again! I'm hoping we get to come back to explore and spend more time on the Vineyard.

Exceptional Accommodations in Edgartown
Location! Location! This cute, spacious, very comfortable home in the woods close to the beach and downtown is a great value for the price. We enjoyed our stay immensely and only wish we could have stayed longer. We spent so much time exploring the island we were hardly there. Amazing time
This is a lovely, comfortable home in a great Edgartown location convenient to everything. We enjoyed the front porch and back deck every day. The outdoor shower is amazing coming home from the beach. Linens and kitchen are well equipped. Steve is wonderful.

Great Place to Stay!
We stayed at this property for 3 nights for girls trip (2 moms and 4 teenagers) There was plenty of space. The house was clean, excellent amenities. We found the house extremely comfortable. The location was very convenient - close to Edgartown, and Oaks bluff. The bike trail is just across the street. The owner is very responsive to questions. I definitely recommend this property!
