"Chez Zig Zag did not disappoint! Adorable cottage with lots of amenities. We loved enjoying a cocktail in the dome and watching the sunset over the water after a long day of hiking in Olympic. Brent and Amy were very hospitable and had great recommendations! The chickens and free eggs were a pleasant bonus! Will definitely stay here again if I visit this area in the future"

"I always rely on reviews to choose my stays, so I always want to be helpful to others. This property was very nice and secluded. It has two lower units and one upper unit. Two of the units (Lodge and Meadow) have a view of the water and very nice decks. The property has a nice hot tub and fire pit. Unfortunately, we were in the Forest unit. While it was lovely, we had no views or windows except for the fenced in tiny deck. The room was lovely, but dark and claustrophobic. If you want a romantic...

"This was a fun property to stay at. It was clean and felt safe and was easy to get to. There are directions for the lock next to the door, which I didn’t see at first but were helpful once I found them. There were a few different heaters which were needed to get the space warm. The water was hot once I let it run for a minute. I would stay here again."

"With all my boys hitting 18 or older, it’s been harder to find something exciting and new to do for all their birthdays that fall within two weeks of each other. We have always loved visiting Sequim and the animal game farm. I was happily surprised to learn of this festive and unique castle that was full of all the fun amenities like costumes, decor, medieval type dishes, furniture, etc. It was really fun. My only regret is not staying longer."

"This lodge is such a relic from the past which adds to the serene landscape right out your room window. Unbelievable older retro rooms in the best condition than I could imagine, being the age of the motel and PNW moisture. It’s like stepping back in time and leaving the busy world in which we live in hundreds of years away. I will definitely return again for future visits and recommend this wonderful lodge to many others. Prime location for Olympic NP beaches, just a few steps to nature...

"Our original lodging became unavailable to to an unforeseen circumstance. The staff at Manitou Lodge were so helpful and accommodating. We ended up staying in the lodge and had a blast. The rooms were great and fit us well. The community space in the lodge was great as well. We were comfortably able to play games and spread out. The only thing it lacked was a kitchenette. "For the price, the place was good. Lobby smelled of waffles all the time from breakfast, definitely didn't complain about that! Breakfast had good options. Beds and pillows quite firm. No AC which was okay for us, we just kept patio door open with screen door. The view from the patio was worth it! Mountains and water/marina view. Surprisingly didn't smell fishy either. Felt safe in the location and was close to everything you needed."
