Filthy and run down
Property was absolutely filthy upon arrival. Old towels and flip flops in the closet, bunches of human hair in a basket on a shelf, ac units old dusty and musty, loud directly over the head of the bed, holes in the side panels os the ac so bugs get in, dirty pans , never washed from last tenants, so much dirt and hair and trash under beds and couches. THE TUB DOESN’T DRAIN… standing water… outdoor shower is dangerous, floor boards are loose and will fall through any time… yard is just overgrowth and the “fire pit” is trashed thrown by a shed. This was our planned vacation, we had company come… it was embarrassing and mortifying. The owner does not provide linen due to “ Covid” but doesn’t clean the place between guests so obviously she could care less about Covid, she doesn’t want to pay …. I wouldn’t have slept on her linen even if it was provided. Just disgusting, total ripoff… never ever again and I would never rent this place again…it should be illegal what this woman gets away with.

Hello - I would like to ask that anybody who has come to my page to please ignore this review. As you can see from my 25+ other reviews, this person is very obviously lying in all of her claims. I hate to have to respond like this, but I feel that I cannot let these falsehoods go unanswered. I use a top-notch professional cleaning company in between every single guest. I have never had a single complaint about their service. Furthermore, all of the information about what is included or not is very clearly listed on the website (and in my emails) and I am always available to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration.

Nice vacation
This house is well equipped for families! The house is spacious and had everything we needed! There is a gap in the deck that the dog got her foot stuck in and really should be addressed. The outside shower needs a little attention and the outside grill needs a good cleaning. The neighbors were very friendly and even though it rained every day we had a great time.

The cottage was cute, thoughfully decorated and well equiped. The neighborhood in which it was located was very good (proximity to beach, restaurants, etc.). The house could have been cleaner.

Dennisport Cottage

Perfect for us!
Needed a place close to my Dads to celebrate his birthday, but needed space for kids naps, etc. this fit the bill. Room for the kids to play, inside and outside. Room for a pack and play. Room to cook and eat. It worked out great.

A little neighborhood gem!
We had the best time staying in Rachel’s home. She recently replaced the picnic table outside and it served as a perfect place to dine outside. The inside was charming, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, the fridge was clean and spacious. We spent every night outside by the fire pit and lazy afternoons in the hammock after the beach. The neighborhood is so adorable and we were literally steps to Swan River. I want to come back again and again! Perfect location. Quiet and peaceful but close to everything. Thank you Rachel!!

Adorable, well kept cottage close to beaches
The area the cottage is located is in a rustic neighborhood with many smallish cottages on dirt side roads with a definite "cape" feel. The cottage is very clean, well kept and modernly updated. The living room area is spacious with a big, bright window, beautiful floors and granite kitchen with all the amenities necessary. The price was reasonable as well. However, a couple of things to be aware of: The outside deck has beautiful, red adirondack chairs but boy!..they are not comfortable. The picnic bench is weathered and if wearing shorts, you will get a splinter. There are no other outdoor seats unless you borrow the beach chairs (which we did). We brought our 4 month old puppy with us, who was very well behaved, but the deck has a couple of areas that he could climb under that a person cannot fit. Be aware of that... The AC consists of two units in the bedrooms and is ok and since it wasn't too, too hot, it was decent at night. The Florida room is lovely, comfortable with many windows but the AC does not reach it and it's best to close that room off and cool the remainder of the house. There's also a standing room fan that we used as well. The large picture window in the front room should really be replaced with a window that opens and at the very least, definitely needs curtains or a shade for some privacy since the road is 15 feet away. All in all, a great place: close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Very clean and modern and a decent price. The owner is also very responsive when you have questions. :)

Absolutely charming !!
Such an adorable cottage, location is close to the beach, restaurants and other cape towns (Hyannis and Chatham are both 20 minutes away). So clean and full of charm! Would rent again!

Loved our stay
The house was wonderful! Very clean, plenty of towels & linens, beach chairs & beach toys. Great location to beach & restaurants. Rachel is super accommodating. I'm looking forward to staying again next year.

Relaxing stay
Cute, cozy home on a quiet road! The river is literally down the street and the beach is about a 15 minute walk. We had two adults and a medium sized dog during our stay and thought it was the perfect size. I can’t imagine having any more than 4 adults there comfortably, but it’s doable. The home was clean and well equipped and the kitchen had nice new appliances. We would definitely love to stay there again!

We loved everything!
The owner was extremely nice and very quick to respond. She answered many of our touristy questions and gave great suggestions. The house was in a cute neighborhood and had access to the river. It is a smaller rental but we had 8 adults and we all fit nicely! There was extra beach stuff available as well which was a nice addition! It was just a few minutes from mini put, stores, and ice cream! We will be back! We loved it!

Wonderful Family-Friendly Vacation Home
My family and I had such a great time in this wonderful, family-friendly home. Everything that I needed was provided. It was very easy to get back and forth to the beach. Location was perfect - quiet road, but close to everywhere we wanted to go. Owner was fast at answering all my questions. Will definitely come again soon!

Perfect Cape Cod getaway!
The cottage is super cute and was just perfect for our family of 6 (that includes the 🐶). It was clean upon arrival and offered all the essentials needed in the kitchen, yard, and bath. We would definitely stay here again!

17 Myrtle was a lovely cottage! It was decorated nicely and had many extras. I was also impressed how clean everything was. We enjoyed the quiet street and the deck. It was our first time to West Dennis and we loved it.

Lovely Little Cape Cod Getaway
We stayed at this cottage Friday and Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend for a wedding and had a blast. It's located in an ideal area just minutes from grocery stores, coffee, and the wedding venue. The house was clean and comfortable and all neighbors were so friendly! There were 3 couples and we fit comfortably. Rachel was so so good to work with and the price was incomparable to anywhere else in the same location. If you're looking for a quick vacation that won't break the bank while still getting the ideal Cape Cod feel, I recommend booking!

Cozy & Sweet with a FABULOUS outdoor shower!
Pleasingly, the home was sparkling clean and ready for our arrival. There was an informative binder on the kitchen table with just the right amount of info so as not to be overwhelming. The kitchen is small but well stocked--I could see cooking nice hearty or summery meals there! The rooms were spacious for a cottage and had plenty of closet room and bureaus for clothing. The kids' room was darling and even had some cute stuffed animals available for younger ones. We will definitely consider booking with our family next time we are in Cape Cod in the summer (we were there without our sons for this visit). We stayed in October and though the day was warm, the night got a quite chilly--the heat was very efficient and kept us cozy after it kicked in. (If you book a stay further along in off-season, I would suggest asking the host to turn the heat on an hour or so before arrival!) The only tiny snag was that we couldn't figure out how to work the TV. This is not saying much however, because I am not very tech savvy! It was on the later side when we chose to watch tv, otherwise we would have contacted Rachel. I am confident she would have helped us solve that-- it was just not that important to us in our short, overnight stay! :) Finally, I can definitely see that this property would be a sought after rental during the summer. We visit the Cape pretty frequently and would highly recommend this listing to family and friends! Bravo!

Splendid, relaxing Cape Cod cottage!
This was a really enjoyable stay, the first time I've reserved a place myself and it worked out fabulous. The homeowner was very friendly and responsive to emails, and understanding when I made a mistake in the reservation. Arriving in Dennis Port at this cottage was so relaxing. The outside deck is nice, a great gathering spot. The cottage was recently acquired and it's obvious, it's very fresh on the inside. Lots of new furnishings and paint! The online pictures aren't hiding anything which is a relief. The beach was literally a couple minute drive away, and the cottage is tucked away in a quiet area that feels remote. There is a lot more space than I'd anticipated, wouldnt hesitate to stay here again!
