We’re thrilled you enjoyed this nice unit with great views! That is correct, the pool is not heated which is why it is not listed as a heated pool on Vrbo. Salt water sure is harsh on outdoor furniture on the beach but we agree it is nice that beach rentals are always available in Daytona. We’re happy you liked the beautiful, nicely decorated unit and had everything you needed in the amazing kitchen! Please keep in mind that bed comfort and preference can vary greatly based on the individual and you will see in a recent review another guest stated it was the most comfortable bed she has ever slept in. We have an emergency line for pressing matters when our office is closed and you emailed our bookings department once late at night when our office was closed with a non-pressing matter, however just as you state we always get back to you. Please keep in mind that the pool is not advertised as being a heated pool so staying in January & February which are the 2 coldest months here that could be the case. You had to initially enter the unit knowing there was a door code to enter so we're uncertain why that information was left behind but please keep in mind that within your iTrip Tenant's Portal there is a Help Article with a few steps to create a 3-6 digit shorter & more personalized code, we're sorry you missed that. Also please note that a new code is generated for each stay which is why 10 digits is generated so there is no duplication. Your code activates at check-in & deactivates at checkout so it no longer works. 😉 In addition there is an emergency contact number for a lockout within your check-in & checkout procedures. We agree the unit and location are nice! This unit was refreshed the day before your arrival and everything was in working order and no flies were found in the unit. You can see the history of previous 5 star reviews of this unit's excellent track record. Our maintenance is a part of our customer service and we apologize our prompt attention to your needs was confusing to you. Our team informed you that in order to fix the low pressure kitchen sink you had reported that the entire condo stack's water had to be shut off for the repair. This required an arrangement to be made with the building's management company who must give other occupied guests ample notice given the holiday. Also, due to the holiday, unfortunately we had no availability to move you to another unit, however you were given the choice to vacate, but instead you chose to stay. Please understand our procedures are in place for our accountability purposes and to provide excellent customer service to our guests when followed properly.
