Perfect for a couples getaway
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this quaint cottage. It is perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. It has everything you could need and Selina goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend!

INCREDIBLE!!!
High-style cabin for a perfect mountain trip. Concierge-level appointments and service. Cabin has been completely renovated top to bottom with all the modern appliances yet with a touch of antiques. We enjoyed the s'mores by the firepit and the beautiful grounds. Nature views out every window and fantastic screened porch off the bedroom. High-end linens and towels and comfy bed. Thank you Selina for being so engaged and communicative and personally ensuring a unique stay for us! Mike and Amy

I would give 6 star rating if I could. This place it the absolute best in the area. Host is attentive and has the unit in pristine condition for the arrival of the guest. No cost spared in furnishing and equipping this unit. Fluffy towels, great shower, and amazingly comfortable bed. The hike has a finishing view that makes all the hard work walking up there well worth it. Highly recommend!!!

Serenity at its finest
We couldn’t have been more impressed and satisfied with our stay in Cullowhee. Our hostess, Selina, went above and beyond what any client would expect. Her attention to detail in every regard was superior. The smallest details were considered and most appreciated. The property was so finely manicured, we were amazed. Freshly cut roses in the bathroom, finest towels I have ever used, snacks and s’mores for the outdoor fire. Selina was incredibly helpful and responsive on all matters. I don’t think you could find a better hostess. The cabin was PERFECT for an adult couple getaway. So peaceful, so tranquil, and so beautifully located in the Blue Ridge mountains. Selina literally thought of everything, even those we may have overlooked. Soft music and decor greeted us upon our arrival. Highly recommend this property.

Great Get-away
The home was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for the two of us. The host had everything we could need including some complimentary snacks and beverages in the refrigerator. We were welcomed with the lights on and soft music playing.

Calling all Western Carolina visitors!
Beautiful property 30 minutes away from campus. This one-bedroom cabin is convenient to campus, but also a great get-away. The host has thought of every detail- most importantly, the s’mores fixin’s and fire pit supplies. Beautifully updated and fully provisioned. Immaculately clean. Can’t-recommend strongly enough!

Little slice of heaven
We had a wonderful visit to this area and cabin. Selina went out of her way to provide snacks and toiletries and you really want for nothing. We stayed a week and went to all the area towns and lakes and waterfalls and our dog had a great time hiking with us The cabin is just as portrayed in the pictures and Selina is always quick to respond if you have any questions or need anything. Make sure to check out Glenville lake— it’s gorgeous There’s a wonderful fire pit, that has wood supplied, we didn’t get to use it. We were afraid of the dry conditions and leaves blowing to risk it I absolutely adored the screened in porch. I spent a good bit of time just relaxing out there We timed it just right to view the beautiful fall colors of the leaves changing and even went for a short trip on the Blue Ridge parkway for spectacular views We enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

Best spot on the mountain!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+++ Let me first start off by saying this property was spectacular from the privacy to the luxurious towels/bedding and plenty of snacks provided by Selina. If I could give more stars, I would. Selina goes above and beyond to provide the best stay for her guests. And she was available if needed. My husband and I wanted to get away for a few days and this little cottage provided just that. We built fires in the fire pit and made s’mores to enjoy thanks to the owner supplying all the necessities. I always overpack on things needed “around the house” so I don’t have to purchase while on vacation. Not this place… EVERYTHING is provided and I mean everything!! Thank you so much for offering your property to us! Can’t wait to make a return visit.

Needed Rest
A great weekend in the mountains of North Carolina. Selina is a great host and the property looks just like it does in the pictures...GREAT! We enjoyed hiking the trail (pretty steep) on property. The kitchen has everything you need it terms of cooking and there is a gas grill on the deck if you would like to grill. If you want to get away from it all this is a good start. The checkout was very easy, no need to remove garbage or go through of list of check out items. I would highly recommend staying here.

Highly Recommend
Neat, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, perfect spot for a couple. Selina was most attentive and helpful with directions and recommendations. The kitchen was well supplied, and we cooked in each night. The fridge was stocked with juices and mixers, and the ice balls were great for old fashioneds. We made the hike to the top, and we had lunch with a wonderful view. Enjoyed smores at the fire pit. Had a great stay and hope we can return.

Absolutely Wonderful!
I booked this home away from home for an anniversary get away, and what a spectacular find. We enjoyed the privacy but also the accessibility of the location. The cabin is so well appointed and the host went above and beyond with stocking all the household goods to make this place super welcoming. The sounds of nature in the evening are quite soothing, and the fire pit as well as screened porch provided a comfortable area to enjoy them. Selina was so nice and helpful before our arrival, I knew we would want to stay longer, and of course we did. I’m very much looking forward to another stay at this wonderful jewel.

A lovely respite
From the time we walked in the front door, the mood was set with relaxing background music coming from the TV. The cabin is just as pictured, with cozy, pretty, welcoming rooms, all well appointed, with extras to boot! Extras in the fridge, extras in the bathroom. The screened in porch was the favorite of our dog, and ours for enjoying coffee and the setting! Just lovely and relaxing!

Private oasis in a beautiful setting
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved that the owners thought of every single detail to make our stay special and comfortable!! We had never seen such attention to detail in a rental and they spared no expense in the kitchenware, linens, decor and supplies — even down to providing makeup towels, individual ice cream containers, and all s’mores supplies! The hike on the property to the top was beautiful and the views incredible! Such seclusion and peacefulness all around! Loved the fire pits areas and screened in porch as well. We truly had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!!!

Weekend getaway
Beautiful property, and very well maintained. House is upgraded and gorgeous inside, can’t say enough about how nice this house is. The house was stocked with essentials, and even drinks in the refrigerator for the guests, what a nice surprise! Coffee on the back porch in the morning was so relaxing. We look forward to coming back to this property again when my husbands knee is healed, and do the hike to see the blue ridge mountains! We had a great getaway weekend.

Beatutiful, manicured private setting with flowering shrubs and hummingbirds flying by. Interior was immaculate and tastefully done, perfect for a couples getaway! The owners were very nice and it is obvious that they want you to have a great time. They provided drinks and smores fixings along with other staples in the kitchen. We will definitely return!!

Cashiers getaway
Wonderful & relaxing property. Cottage is extremely comfortable with numerous personal touches. Screen porch is perfect outdoor room to take in nature and soothe the mind. Surroundings are "park-like". Owners' amenities are more thoughtful than any vacation rental we've ever stayed. Easy to communicate with and very knowledgeable of local interests and activities. Peaceful Cabin Getaway
The property is beautiful, peaceful and well manicured. The home is charming! We felt incredibly comfortable staying in the peaceful cabin. We loved the decor and we had everything we needed, including good coffee and ice cream. We enjoyed quiet mornings sipping coffee in back porch. We hiked up the hill and ran along the lake nearby. We enjoyed drives to Cashier and Highlands. Selena helped promptly with all our questions. We really hope to return in the near future!!!

Absolutely wonderful!
The cabin is beautifully updated, extremely clean and they have literally thought of every detail, which only makes the stay that much more enjoyable! The owners are charming and their 50-acre estate is amazing, you can see the love they have poured into their land. There is even a fun & adventurous hike you can do during your stay (we did it almost daily while there). If we could give a higher rating than 5-stars, we would.

Fabulous 5 Star Cottage
A most charming and beautifully decorated cottage with all the necessities you would ever need. The kitchen was well stocked with many complimentary items including everything needed in making s'mores in the outdoor firepit. The screened in porch is ideal for enjoying morning coffee or reading. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the interior is elegantly decorated. It is conveniently located near Highlands and Cashiers. Selena has exceeded all expectations as a wonderful host! Amazing place to relax
My wife and I were so happy we selected this property. It exceeded every expectation we had. The property had everything you need in the way of supplies, All we needed were a few groceries. This place is conveniently located near Cashiers and Highlands. Lake Glenville is very close to the property. The property grounds are just beautiful. Our host was fabulous!! Mountain Gem
Private, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully provisioned. My nine day stay was perfect. Selina and John were excellent hosts. I cooked every day in the well stocked kitchen and listened to nature each morning and evening on the two porches. If you’re looking for a private retreat with all the luxuries you could want, this is the place.

Just Perfect
What a sweet gem. Our favorite cabin so far. Super clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. Selina went above and beyond making sure we had everything we may need or want. The Perfect Mountain Vacation
From the moment we arrived we knew we were at the most charming and beautifully appointed cabin. It was elegantly furnished, clean, cozy and the location was conveniently located near Cashiers, Highlands and Franklin. The kitchen was stocked with many complimentary items including everything we needed for s’mores. During our 7 night stay we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit every evening and John kept us stocked with firewood. The hiking on the property and views were second to none. The hosts Selina and John were very gracious and accommodating. If you’re fortunate enough to stay at this property you will not be disappointed.

Magical Cottage
We had the good fortune to secure a 4 night get away to this magical cottage in Cullowhee, NC. Cannot say enough about the property's beautiful, peaceful and secluded surroundings. The cottage was small but perfect for my husband, myself and our dog Max. The interior decor and furnishings were chic yet comfortable. Kitchen had everything imaginable for creating for a gourmet meal. The outdoor gas grill was immaculate and much appreciated. We had a fire each night outside by the firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Selina even provided ingredients for S'mores. If you are lucky enough to book a stay you will not regret it.

Elegant retreat
Our stay was restful and relaxing. The cabin is lovingly and elegantly decorated, and stocked with everything you might need during your stay. We are still cautious about dining inside due to COVID, and the cabin had all of the kitchen items we needed to prepare dinners at home. Selina was responsive and easy to work with, and the property is gorgeous.

Great Spot!
We loved our stay in this wonderful cabin. EVERYTHING has been thought of! The grounds are gorgeous and we enjoyed the private trail to the top of the property- great views! We spent lots of time on the porch and made s’mores around the fire pit. Inside, the cabin was spotless and so comfortable. The owners are very nice and helpful with recommendations. This property is very well cared for and it shows, we would highly recommend!

We use vrbo often & this is the best experience we have had. Very beautiful spot, comfortable private space with a great screened in porch & hosts that were helpful with any request. Stunning Property
The pictures don't do this property justice. It is absolutely stunning both inside and out. Selina is so nice and easy to work with. She has the perfect touches inside the house. If you like to cook, she has everything you need. The house is exceptionally clean and comfy. It is nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Cashiers and Highlands, but you are still close enough to go shop and eat there. Lake Glenville and the waterfalls are gorgeous, a must stay!

Beautiful and cozy cabin close to Lake Glenville
We loved our stay in this beautiful and cozy cabin. The setting is so beautiful and the hike on site is so fun and the view amazing. We loved the screened in porch and the fire pit as well. Owners are great and gave great recommendations on the area. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Nicely furnished and very comfortable cabin. We’ll equipped kitchen. Extremely comfortable bed.
Easy to rent cabin, and host emailed to make sure we didn’t have any questions.

Great Weekend Getaway
The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated. It's stocked with everything you need...including a lot of extras like coffee and ingredients to make s'mores by the fire. There are absolutely gorgeous views of the mountains and the lake on the property. We enjoyed walking the dogs and just sitting on the screened in porch. Selina was a great host!
