Kaisers stay
Everything overall was great. Only things i would have issues with is 1. The hottub was super dirty and water stinks. The filter needs changed and we couldnt really use it. Also probably want to have the cleaners actually dust the cobwebs and bugs from all over the walls and ceilings. Other then that we had a great time.

Very spacious!
The rental was so spacious and close to everything we needed. Great restaurants and hiking all around. I would definitely stay again!

Comfy and spacious
The house was comfy and spacious. Smart TV in each bedroom and family room. Kitchen was very well equipped! Plenty of plates, glasses, and every small appliance, gadget you could need! Beautiful large wood table in the kitchen that seats 6. There are a few maintenance items that need attention. The floor sags between joists, the tub faucet pulls off the wall when you put shower on, and many light switches are falling off. The road had more traffic than I expected. The location was great, close to Ohiopyle State Park.

Amazing Location
The house was very clean when we arrived - everything was wonderful. Hard to beat waking up to the river every morning. A great place to connect with old friends.

Spacious and comfortable
The house was large, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of plates, silverware, glasses, baking trays, and every small appliance you could need. A smart TV in every bedroom. The location was close to Ohiopyle State Park. Some items to note: the house is at the end of the road, but the road is the main road into the area and there was quite a bit of traffic going by, especially in the morning. The flooring, especially in the kitchen, was sagging between joists. The bathtub faucet was falling off the wall. Light switches falling off. Seems to need some maintenance. Easy check in and check out.

Great Experience
Stayed here for proximity to slopes. House was as described. Upper deck and lower deck chairs perfect for enjoying the views! The spa was clean and relaxing. Note: kureg coffee pot uses both pods and filters - score! Tvs in every room for those interested and good wifi too. We would recommend and may come back to ride bikes, trout fish and or just relax.

Nice location and view. House needs work
My family enjoyed a nice weekend at this property. Close to trail and there was a fall festival in town. The spacious kitchen worked well for meals and just hanging out but the beds were very uncomfortable especially the king. The inside of the house was clean but exterior of home is in poor repair along with unkempt yard and landscaping. Outside hot tub surrounded by melted siding. Chairs on upper deck were filthy . Our weekend was about connecting with family, we just needed the space and the house did provide that. But would not rent again

Great location
We enjoy staying in Confluence which is a quiet community close to biking trails. Found the Salty Dog enjoyable to dine at. The house is a great size for up to 6, but does sleep more. Thanks !

perfect getaway
The lodge was so inviting and so clean! It was perfect for a home away from home. We were in walking distance of rentals and food. The view was beautiful. We will definately be back :)

Nice place
We stayed here 4th of July weekend 2022. The property is nice and cozy for the most part. There is a very nice balcony upstairs and a very nice front porch which was great for relaxing and drinking morning coffee. There is plenty of access to the river which is right across the street, and the street is a dead end street and this place being only one of 2 houses on this side of the dead end street made it very nice and secluded. Very spacious for a large group of people. The bed in the master bedroom could’ve been more comfy as the beds in the other bedrooms were much better. Hot tub was great and it was large enough for quite a few people however the appearance around the hot tub could’ve been better. It was beside the garage were the siding on the garage was totally melted and falling off almost all the way across. Looked to be caused by the grill but should be replaced before renting this place out or we should’ve at least been told about it prior to renting. There is so much to do in the area… kayaking, rafting, fishing, camping, swimming, waterfalls, Ohiopyle state park, bike trails and rentals, and the bike trail is right there by this house crossing the river. Even if you don’t ride bikes it’s a great place to take a late night walk and look at the stars. We really enjoyed this place… like I said there could definitely be a few updated to the master bedroom and a few things need fixed but all and all I would definitely stay again.

Great place!
The property was perfect for our family of eight. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The only real complaints would be that the outside garbage had not been emptied before we arrived and the check out time was a little early.

Great New Years Getaway
Ringing in 2022 at The River House was a great way to start a new year! The house was spacious enough to accommodate 4 adults and 3 teenage children. The surrounding area was perfect for hiking and long walks along the river. I imagine this would be a perfect rental in the summer.

Perfect weekend getaway
My siblings and I rented this house for a weekend getaway and it couldn’t have a been a better time. The house is so spacious, it fit us all very comfortably- we really hated to leave. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had a great layout and the porches were wonderful. The children loved the hot tub, too. We will definitely be back!

Accessible!
Within walking distance rafts and bicycles can be rented. A wonderful restaurant is just blocks away and pizza is just over the bridge.

Less than desirable
It seemed like everywhere I looked something was broken, not working correctly or falling of the wall. Next to the front door, a thing to hang your keys fell off everytime we came in and out the front door ( ended up having to take it off the wall and place in counter), the exterior of this property is very poor and cheaply done (even has "lovely" siding falling off the garage area while you soak in the hot tub ), multiple porch chairs broken, back slider is broke and doesn't lock correctly ( safety issue), NO DISHWASHER ( seriously on vacation ? For the rate you are asking), the floors are falling apart and slanted throughout property ( worse in kitchen), broken blind, the water tastes disgusting don't drink it, and etc !!! Then when we were trying to pack up and leave; their cleaning crew was standing staring at us while we finished washing dishes etc and getting out of the rental ( we exited 10 minutes late), as well as they showed up next door at a rental at 9:30 and then stood around watching us and starring us down ( unprofessional) . Definitely will not rent this again. Live and learn, BUT learn from us, don't rent here!!!! However, DO go see some cool ppl at white water adventure in downtown Ohiopyle and head down the river rafting; they were awesome !!!!!

Convenient access to the water and GAP bike trail.
Loved the inside of the home. The kitchen/dining area was quite welcoming and comfy. The outside could use a bit of TLC (new grill and some light landscaping). We will definitely revisit this home.

Winter get away
Went there for a few nights with some friends very beautiful scenery. Will be a lovely place to stay in the summer not too far from a lot of activity all in all I would rate this about four and a half Stars.

Beautiful scenery and loved the hot tub
Area was very rural and scenic. Hot tub was nice and warm even in cold temps. Kitchen was ample size but could use more seating given the occupancy stated in listing of sleeps 10 people but there were only 6 seats at the table and no extra folding chairs. House was very clean and plenty of room for all guests otherwise. Tub faucets need repair as they pull out of the wall when you try to turn shower on. Overall very nice property - would love to see it in spring/summer as well!

Wonderful Location, Comfortable Clean House
Really nice house, clean, had everything we needed. The view of the river is really nice from the front deck - there is no direct access, but you could walk about 1/2 block and go down to the river. The Allegheny Passage entrance was about 25 feet from the house, excellent trail! We will book this house again.

First time in confluence PA. We only spent two nights here but it was enjoyable. I feel the nightly rate is a bit high but the location is clean. The stairs creek pretty badly. With 3 bedroooms upstairs that can get noisy. I also would have preferred a few extra kitchen trash bags and maybe a guide on how to use the hot tub/jets. It is right off the bike trail on a dead end road so my 4 year old could ride his bike with little to no traffic. I also would have liked a few extra rolls of toilet paper And maybe a “new visitor” guide. The location is very close to the beach access. About 1 mile. Little cafe across the street with ice cream right down the road. Lots of places to bike and walk. Easy to get to boat launch. Within a mile. Overall great stay. We wished it was longer.
