NYE stay
The place was clean and charming. Supplies were available as noted. A little smaller than expected but worked for the four of us. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms well stocked. Patio looks like it would be lovely in the summer. Parking was an issue. Guests should be specifically told ahead of time the parking situation including potential problems with loading and unloading the vehicle. Need to update info on the refrigerator. A few items were in need of repair. Stone steps are beautiful but are not compatible for elderly or handicapped and should be noted so. The house is so historical, it would be nice to have a printed history available on the table. The bottle of wine was a very welcoming touch. We loved the paint job! Beautifully done. All and all an enjoyable stay.

Wonderful and tiny
We had a wonderful stay. The place was a little smaller than I expected (photos made it look a little bigger) but was quaint, very clean, perfectly situated in town so we walked everywhere. Loved it! Kris and Tim were very responsive so I felt comfortable reaching out with questions. It snowed which made our experience extra spectacular.

Best VRBO experience
Condo was amazing. Great location. Steps from all the shops and walking distance to the incline. The hosts were so helpful. Any questions we had they got back to us promptly and went above and beyond to help us have a great stay. Would highly recommend this property. Would try to keep to one car if possible.

Enjoyment
The two bedroom unit was immaculate, homey and had everything needed. We loved sitting on the front porch and side patio. Location is perfect, with only a short walk to restaurants and stores. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with Tim. We loved hearing about the history and future of the house. We didn't want to leave, but plan to be back next year. Lovely VRBO🙂

Great family retreat
This lovely home is in an ideal location for visiting Manatou Springs. Parking near the unit was challenging on this long holiday weekend. We spent lots of time out on the private patio - perfect spot for relaxing and al fresco dinners!

Visit to Manitou Spring
Everything about the house and visit was perfect. House was very clean and well maintained. The owner, Kris was super helpful and responsive. We didn't have a single issue. Parking is tight for a big SUV but after an attempt or two it is certainly maneuverable. If I visit again - this home will be my first choice. Thanks for the extra lovely stay. It was just too short. Too many amazing things to do in Manitou for just two days.

Great location and Stay
We loved staying here. Located across the street from the park and in the heart of Manitou Springs, you won't need a car to visit the shops and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable, and the place is well-equipped with toiletries, trash bags, kitchen items, etc. The patio is fantastic and very private. The parking space is tight, so if possible, I recommend a mid-size or smaller car. I won't hesitate to stay here again.

Great Location!
This rental was perfect for our stay and is as advertised. It’s within walking distance of downtown Manitou and quiet in the evening. I would definitely stay here if back in the area.

Amazing weekend!
We took our family to Manitou for a nice weekend getaway and we so enjoyed it! Accommodations were wonderful and was very clean! Loved the patio area and spent quite a bit of time out there. It was so close to the park and could walk into town whenever we wanted. Would highly recommend and would do it again!

The property was super clean and the perfect size for our family. The proximity to all things that Mantiou Springs has to offer can’t be beat. Our son loved the park right outside the door. We’ll be back for sure!

A great location for our family- the kids enjoyed playing at the Penny Arcade each evening. So close to shops, restaurants, and the park. Great communication with the owners. We plan to return!

Best Location
This location was very convenient for touring downtown Manitou Springs, yet it was still quiet. We walked out the front door and across the small park and were on the main street. I also appreciated that the hosts allowed one-night stays which is what I needed. The hosts responded quickly when I asked for suggestions on places to eat. If I ever make it back to this area I definitely would like to stay there for a longer visit.

Great Spot
This little apartment was perfect for us - just a short walk from the main street, it was super convenient. We loved sitting on the patio in the afternoon Sun with our wine and cheese! Everything was clean and in good order, lovely to have coffee supplies waiting for us. Thank you for a great stay.

Best of the Best
I cannot express enough how much we loved the first floor of this gorgeous property. As a local I was able to enjoy Manitou in a completely perfect way. From the views, the patio, the better than described amenities, to the location and amazing hosts we had the perfect girl’s weekend because of this perfect property. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Beautiful and charming.
The Carriage House was not only beautiful but was perfect size and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and the location was even more perfect than I imagined. Quick and friendly responses from the Hosts. Our stay was wonderful and I hope to return in the future.

Wonderful Weekend With Friends
My friends and get together once in a while to visit and catch up after not seeing each other for long periods of time. We chose Manitou because it was close to where we lived growing up and is a fun little town. This location was absolutely perfect for time in Manitou. We were able to walk to the Mona Lisa and to Miramont castle in just a few minutes. We were able to look out the front window to see how busy things were when we went shopping. The owners were great about checking in with us before our stay. They personalized the entry code to something we could remember. They left us a bottle of wine and a personal greeting, which was really sweet. We enjoyed the place. It was perfect for heating up some snacks and talking. Everything was clean. The beds were so comfy we were rethinking our beds at home. And having fresh coffee beans, a coffee grinder, and multiple coffee machines and creamers was pretty amazing. I took a nap one afternoon and used the sound machine and it was perfect even with my friends talking in the next room. We didn’t have any complaints. I would definitely recommend this stay.

Quiet, beautiful and covenient
I am a super light sleeper but never heard any noises from outside or upstairs. It was fun to stay in such a beautiful Victorian house and it had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. Our daughter had just had shoulder surgery so she got the second bed. The couch is probably comfortable for someone six feet or under but our tall son had a sleeping bag and slept on the living room floor.

Perfect place for family in Manitou
Can't beat the location of this adorable house- the kids loved playing in the park across the street & in the nearby creek. We could walk to everything in town & loved watching the sunrise on the porch. Owners went to great effort to make everything else, provide lots of info, and have the house be very welcoming.

Historic gem in great location
This historic house is lovely, and the apartment is totally modern and comfortable inside. The hosts have thought of all kinds of things guests will appreciate, such as dish soap, laundry detergent, kleenex, soap, coffee, umbrellas, fans, noise machines, and more. When one issue came up, the response was very quick. The location in walking distance to downtown cannot be any better, with a little park and creek right across the street. The front porch and private patio have comfortable furniture and shade to spend time outdoors. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, but there are so many good restaurants nearby it's hard to stay in and cook. As others have mentioned, parking is a bit tight. With a regular size car and a backup camera, it's pretty easy to get in and out. The directions the hosts provided made it simple to find the driveway behind the house.

Comfy house, great location.
Such a great find. Well appointed, comfy house in a great location to access downtown Manitou Springs. Our stay included off-street parking and use of the charming patio/garden area. The beds are ultra comfy and the kitchen is fully equipped. The hosts left very thoughtful gifts for adults and children and made the stay exceptional. A great place to stay in Manitou Springs.

Perfect location, beautiful accommodations
We could not have had a more perfect location! Soda Springs Park is right in front of the property, so we were able to walk down Manitou Avenue for shopping, plus we walked to Miramont Castle. There's a small grocery a few doors down one way, and the post office the other way. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. The house was absolutely beautiful, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, kitchen, living area, large porch plus patio. Everything you could possibly need and more. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location
5 sisters celebrated a birthday here. It was perfect and the special touches the owners left were a nice surprise. We so enjoyed the beautiful CO weather and sitting on the patio. The location right in town could not have been better.

Perfect Location
Our family of 5 couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at this property. The location was perfect, as a great little park with a creek was right across the street for the kids to enjoy every day after we wrapped up our activities. Very easy walk to the penny arcade, amongst other family friendly venues on a great mountain main street. Also a very easy drive to garden of the gods, cave of the winds, pikes peak, and the Cheyanne mountain zoon. The bottle of wine upon arrival was very much appreciated and a great touch for us (after a long travel day). We would definitely stay here again when visiting Manitou Springs.

Lovely House and Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was just as described and very comfortable, including he bed. Our only improvement would have been better lighting in the kitchen. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine which was much appreciated! The kitchen and the bathrooms were well supplied. Would definitely stay at this location next time we are in town!

The location was perfect. Walkable to the downtown. Beds were comfortable. It’s an old house with a refresh, so it comes with expected squeaks and small bathrooms, but that’s what brings so much charm. Highly recommended and we would stay again.

Beautiful house in excellent location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. We were welcomed with a nice note and bottle of wine when we arrived, and everything was toasty warm. This was much appreciated in January! We couldn’t have been more comfortable in our stay. The beds were great, and there was lots of room for our small family. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfection!
First of all, the owners are wonderful! They covered every nook and crannies. Everthing was stocked, clean, comfortable, quiet... I can't say enough nice things about them and their Carriage House. You will not be disappointed in any way. Oh, the location? You can't beat it. It's perfect.
