Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and regret hearing about the shortcomings you have experienced during your visit. There is now a street sign available. It puzzles me as to why you found the communication via email confusing as it is in very layman's terms. We also provide a map of the location (which is directly off Google). We understand that it may have been frustrating to find the place after a long flight and also if your driver was not familiar with the area. This was the primary reason for the location map and you are also provided a contact number to reach us in case you experience any difficulty. Although the location, Gregory's Road Colombo 07, is a very popular and prestigious neighborhood we have come to understand that airport transfer drivers are not familiar with the location and it is advisable for the information provided by the property to be used and shared with your driver. We thank you for the feedback regarding the staff that was only available for a brief period. This is certainly not acceptable and will be addressed immediately. I would like to clarify that the location is in fact a peaceful area. Although the street may get a little busy in the afternoon, between noon and 3.pm, the road is generally rather quiet and especially at night. Kindly accept our sincere regrets for the way the air condition wiring was left after its installation was finished. We did notice that the provider of the air condition had not fully cased the wiring after installation although this was specifically requested. The open wiring has been fully secured now. I am not sure however why you had to touch any of the wiring. The air condition was fully connected and only needed to be turned on using the remote control. I will spend time to understand how corrective action can be taken to avoid such incidents in the future.

Le dysfonctionnement résultait d'un petit problème de service et il a été corrigé dans les 18 heures suivant votre notification. Nous craignons que vous n'aimiez pas la réception que vous avez reçue, et cela me semble déroutant, car vous et votre femme avez toujours été très heureux et gazouillés chaque fois que j'ai vérifié que tout allait bien. Vous avez également mentionné que vous aviez apprécié le restaurant sri-lankais que j'ai suggéré. Je ne sais pas pourquoi vous diriez maintenant le contraire. Les chambres sont différentes et, en raison des caractéristiques et des équipements supplémentaires de la chambre king de luxe supérieure, son prix est supérieur à celui de la chambre queen. Nous n'avions d'autre choix que de vous facturer la différence de prix car vous aviez demandé de conserver la chambre supérieure de luxe avec lit king-size pour le reste de votre séjour. Vous fournir un surclassement gratuit n’était pas une option, car nous sommes en haute saison et le taux d’occupation est très élevé. Nous regrettons d'apprendre que vous n'étiez pas satisfait de votre expérience globale et j'aurais aimé que vous me l'ayez exprimé lorsque vous étiez à l'établissement. Our team is very active and readily available to welcome guests (regardless of check-in time) as long as we are well-informed of arrival times prior to arrival. All guests are also provided a contact number to reach out to our team prior to arrival to ensure that we are in-contact all the time.
