A great spot with great people
We just got home from a 2 night stay at this wonderful cabin. Our hosts were very nice and welcoming. The cabin is located in a beautiful area just outside of (but not too close) to Oakhurst. As I am getting up there in years and have a few health concerns, it comforted me to know we were just minutes away from help. And there is an emergency Vet in Oakhurst as well! We will definitely be coming back!

What a deal
Noella's cabin is such a deal! We traveled from Colorado to California and stayed at a variety of hotels, but this cabin was a favorite of all the places we stayed, and much less expensive than any hotel. I was a little concerned at first when we arrived, because the cabin is right next to Noella's home, but she was so pleasant and didn't intrude on our stay at all. In fact, I suspect I pestered her more, but she was so nice to talk to. The cabin is located just 4-5 miles outside of Oakhurst - a decent sized town with grocery stores, restaurants, etc. about 14 miles from Bass Lake which was a nice side excursion and 1.5 hours from Tunnel View in Yosemite. I thought having to drive 1.5 hours to Yosemite might be too much, but it didn't seem that long. The cabin itself is clean and cozy. It was so nice being able to have a real cup of coffee each morning, made in the Keurig provided, instead of having to get dressed and go to a hotel lobby for one. I also loved the wildlife right around the cabin - lots of mule deer, including a couple of bucks with full antlers, tons of turkeys and Acorn Woodpeckers. Overall a perfect stay!

Wonderful cottage in the woods
Loved the beautiful cabin in the woods. It was super clean, has a full kitchen and bbq, nice bathroom, and ample sleeping and lounging area. It’s fare enough away from town for a peaceful getaway and close enough to easily access all necessities. It was a wonderful place to relax after a day at the lake.

Excellent location and wonderful cabin
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to cook every night after our visits to Yosemite.

There was 3 of us but towels for only two and the hideabed had no top sheet. Originally I marked 2 persons by mistake but made a correction to 3 and my receipt shows 3. That’s why a 4 rating and not a 5. I would recommend staying here and really appreciated the snacks from Miss Kitty & water left for us.

Comfy Cabin Stay Near Yosemite!
We had a lovely stay in Noella's woodsy cabin, in Coarsegold, near Yosemite. The cabin was spacious for the 3 of us (our small dog included). The decor was very cute and quaint, the kitchen and bathroom had the essentials along with some extras, the bed was very comfortable, there was a charming garden, and a much needed air conditioner! Thank you, Noella.

Little house in the woods
My wife has this thing that she has go to the mountain trees every so often. The smell of the pine trees the wild life. This little house in the woods met her dreams to a tee. The wild turkeys were her favorite also deer all always fun to see. We would love to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful visit, Steven

Absolutely perfect
My husband and two children stayed here, And everything was absolutely perfect. Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, air worked great which was very nice on such a hot weekend in july. We will definitely be back

Cozy and Amazing Cabin!
This cabin was perfect for my family of 4. It was nestled on a secluded road but was close enough to a city for groceries and necessities. Oakhurst was about 10 minutes away and 30 minutes away from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. Washer/Dryer in it came in handy. As well as a full kitchen. We would 110% recommend staying here and would stay here again! Thank you again for all your hospitality!

SMALL COZY CABIN
It is amazing what our host has done with 650 sq ft nessteled in the woods. We had everything we needed. One morning while sitting on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee, a family of deer walked by. Moments later a few turkey ran by. Great experience all the way around.

Woodsy quiet getaway
This was my second stay here. The first time was in ‘21. This time, my wife accompanied me with our dog to go to Yosemite. My wife loved the cabin which is surrounded by pine trees and the space that Noella has created! It has a simple cozy warm feel with the interior pine wall paneling with ceiling cam lighting and antique brass lamps on the nightstands. The bed was cushy where my wife and I slept great both nights. The kitchen is nice but wasn’t able to use it because we got back too late to cook. The shower/bathtub was hot and got us going in the morning! All in all, a relaxing retreat! Our only regrets were not staying three nights and not sitting on the deck to enjoy the trees! Next time!

We very much enjoyed our time at the cabin. It had everything we needed! It was so cute and comfortable. Our destination was Yosemite and the cabin was very convenient to the park. We stayed 3 nights and would definitely recommend and return to this property.

Peaceful and tranquil
The cottage was just cute. It had all the amenities needed for two people staying overnight, and then some. The neighborhood was quiet and only 10 minutes from town in case you forgot to pack something. We will be coming back again and will recommend this cottage to friends and family

Cozy cabin in a peaceful setting
My husband and I really enjoyed staying for a few days at Noella's clean and cozy cabin. We didn't realize the owners were right next door, but we still felt a lot of privacy in our separate area. It was nice having a small attached fenced yard for our dog. The cabin is in a quiet and pretty area with lots of trees. It's also located 10 minutes or less from many restaurants to choose from.

Perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Cute, cozy cabin in the woods within a very nice, quiet residential area close to both Oakhurst and Coarsegold. Appreciate that the cabin is dog-friendly. :)

Wonderful experience staying here! Noella was available if I needed anything, check in was seamless, and the cabin was outfitted with everything you’d need. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a convenient place to stay for a visit to Yosemite!

Great cabin, safe and relaxing
We loved this cabin. It had everything you needed and was clean!! Bonus that it is dog friendly and has a fenced in area. Close enough to town to go grab food, but tucked away enough to be private and cozy.

Excellent location and pet freindly
This was a cute little unit. It had a nice fenced yard for the dogs (little dogs can squeeze out near the door). The kitchen was well stocked and the room was well appointed. Plenty of games to use in the closets. The only criticism would be the cooling unit. It was very hot the day of our stay and the window air conditioner just didn't have the strength to keep the place cool. There was a small fan in the closet and it helped. Overall, a nice place to stay.

The cabin and property were terrific! However, we didn't know the owner's home was directly next door. From that house/garage we had noise and gas fumes on the first day of our stay.

Magical little cabin in the woods
Had an absolutely perfect stay! Everything in the cabin is very nice and clean. The bed is so comfortable and everything is just really high quality. It was nice and quiet and peaceful my whole stay, really enjoyable.

Absolutely perfect!
I feel lucky to have found this cabin and Host. Our experience with renting this cabin was absolutely perfect! Noella reached out to greet and help us right away. They were helpful, professional, kind and sweet. Our stay at this cabin made our anniversary celebration-vacation experience so relaxing, comfortable, peaceful, and private. The Host and cabin are terrific; stocked, clean, helpful, and so much more than we expected! The best! We look forward to another opportunity to come back and explore the area and hope that we can stay at this most perfect little cabin in the woods again soon.

Great little cabin. Owner is very responsive and friendly! Very spacious for only 650 square feet. Had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. The only suggestion is maybe a couple of foldable stills stored in the closet. Our party of four had only two chairs to sit on for dining. Location is beautiful and close to stores and Yosemite.

Just Perfect!!!
This cabin was so warm and cozy and we absolutely loved our stay! Our doggies got to enjoy deer and wild turkeys roaming around and it was just perfect :) A quick drive into town and only about 20+ minutes to the South Gate of Yosemite! We will definitely be back!

Immaculate, well stocked, beautifully decorated, comfortable and in a beautiful location.
One of the most charming accommodations anyone could ask for. The hosts provided everything necessary for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. I will definitely be returning to and recommending this cabin.

Absolutely Perfect!
This cabin is so beautiful and relaxing! Easy to get to and easy parking. A short 25-30 minute drive to Yosemite south entrance. I loved having the Roku TV also! Everything was perfect!

Great little cabin
Great, well equipped and clean little cabin about a 90 minute drive to the Yosemite valley. My only criticism is that we were there when temperatures were in the upper 90s and the small A/C wasn’t able to keep indoor temps comfortable.

Perfect size for our four person family and small dog! Bass Lake and groceries are about a 20-30 min drive. Had everything we needed to have a very pleasant stay :) The bed was very comfy to boot.

Quiet little cabin
We had a wonderful stay in this clean and fully furnished cabin. It is adjacent to what I assume is the owner's residence, though we were not bothered or intruded upon in any way. We would gladly return here in the future.

Was able to cook dinners and relax as if this was home. Friendly and available family. Close enough to Yosemite to get there and back. All groceries and restaurants just down the mountain. Loved every minute of it.

Perfect quiet getaway
This place has everything you need including a fenced yard for our dog, barbecue grill from my husband, and washer and dryer. So nice to go home with clean clothes. For me it was all the wildlife waking up with turkeys at our front door, deer walking around, and an occasional squirrel running by. Perfect location just a few minutes from Oakhurst if you need anything or just want to pick up something to eat and very close to Yosemite. Noella was very nice checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay

Amazing cozy stay!
My friends and I had an amazing cozy stay here! We were visiting Yosemite and this cabin was the cutest place just a bit out of the national park. They provided absolutely everything we needed, and was incredibly communicative and helpful! We couldn't have asked for a better place to come back to after a long day's hike. We even got to see some deer and turkey! Thank you! We hope to visit again :)
