Clean and convenient
Easy access to suite, convenient location for exploring all of Charleston. Helpful to have a parking space (cost extra per night). Very clean and spacious. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Terrific location/best shower ever!
The condo was spacious, secure, and clean. Parking was a breeze; no worries of being ticketed or towed and great that we could come and go as we wanted. We were able to easily walk to great restaurants, museums, and stores. Would definitely recommend to others.

A great spot for girls weekend
The property is in the perfect location! Easy access for a group with all passcode access. The suite is large enough to a group of 5 didn’t feel cramped. Some oven mitts and an extra roll of toilet paper would have been handy, but apart from that we had everything we could have needed! Thanks for a great stay!

Clean place in great location
Our stay in this spot was great. The space was exactly as described and depicted on the listing. The owners were very communicative. Beds were comfortable, space was adequate for six people, and we were close to everything in Charleston. Would definitely return!

Comfy getaway in the heart of King street ! Walking distance to shopping, tons of restaurants & live music. I’ve been to Charleston about 10 times - Our regular place couldn’t host us last minute - we found this place and were very happy. Nearly Next to college of Charleston - about 1.3 miles to City Market. The property is very secure. It is also very clean. Kitchen, two beds and two baths. Living room was comfy & probably could sleep 2 more people on the sofa.

the lamp in one of the bedrooms was not working. there was a tear in the couch in the livingroom. the amount of emails and text messages were a bit much.

Charleston visit
The unit was clean and very satisfactory! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. The only thing I would mention is that the pillow cases seemed to be worn and in need of being replaced. Other than that, everything was great.

The Ashley Suite
Enjoyed my stay and all exceeded my expectations. Very clean and nice would definitely book again. The only compliant I had was with the toddlers running around in the suite next door . You could hear them pretty good. especially in early am.

Great Location

Lovely Week in Charleston
This property sits in a perfect location off King Street. We were able to walk or take the free bus to all the historic buildings, shops and restaurants. The room itself was clean and well decorated. Much better than a traditional hotel room for a week with the parents!

Great For King Street Fun
This condo is excellent! Great location for all of the sites and tours of Charleston. Conveniently located on King Street, you are in the heart of all the shopping and restaurants. We stayed a few days before the 4th of July and had a fabulous time! Would recommend for anyone looking for convenience, cleanliness and a unique Charleston experience.

You are absolutely correct, the Ashley suite is in an excellent location. Just steps to everything you could want to see or do in downtown Charleston. Our 493 King Street Suites are a great way to stay right downtown. We look forward to hosting y'all on your next trip to Charleston!

Awesome Find
We stayed here for 4 days. It was a great property. Perfect for the 4 of us. Restaurants/Bars/Shops were all centrally located. The only common issue we had was the beds, they weren’t comfortable at all. You could feel the box spring when you laid down. Every time you turned it would squeak.

Great property, heart of everything.
We loved the property. We frequent Charleston and usually change properties each time to mix things up. I feel sure we will revisit 934 King. A couple suggestions: 1.) The rooms are big enough to accommodate King beds if you removed one night stand. I am 6'3 250lbs. and trying to sleep with my wife in a queen was tough, we slept in separate rooms. 2.) The master bath sink and shower drained very,very slow. We ended up using the hall bath which drained fine. 3.) Because the unit only has one bank of windows which is great for people watching, it had one panel of the four that the seal was busted and the window was cloudy. It would be more attractive with the window repaired. None of these would prevent us from returning or recommending the property, they are just observations. We enjoyed our short visit and look forward to returning. Thanks-Ronny West

Perfect Spot
Two buddies and i stayed for an extended weekend of good food and good drinks and this was the perfect location for that. Centrally located in the heart of King Street - you couldn’t ask for anything more. Walk out the front door and dozens of bars and restaurants in every direction and a short 18 minute walk to the water. Highly recommend.

Charleston
The property is very nice and easy to access. It is located by very good restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. However, the walls to the complex are very thin. You can hear the conversations of people next door and the noise from the clubs late at night.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in our Ashley Suite! It is a great property in a great location, putting you right in the heart of Charleston nightlife. With that being said, part of being right in the middle of downtown does come with some background noise.

Perfect Location
Great location, you're able to walk to everything! Property was very clean and worked well for a small group of 4. It would be a tight fit for 6. The property is set up as one of several rentals on the second floor of the building. There were several groups/parties there so plenty of noise but it wasn't really bad. The property is rented by a large company, not an individual. Funny, we did get a noise complaint while not in the building!

Great location on King Street. Clean and comfortable.
Two couples spent a weekend in Charleson in this unit. It was clean and comfortable in a great central location in the city. Close to restaurants and shopping. The rental process was simple and easy. Great place to stay and we plan to return.

Great Location But Noisy at Night
The location of this apartment couldn't be better from the perspective of being near great restaurants and shopping. The apartment was nicely decorated. However, it was extremely noisy late at night. There is a restaurant/lounge next door that really didn't get cranked up until after midnight. Luckily there is a sound machine in the room that helps some but even it was not enough to offset the music. Also, the walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbors moving around and talking. The beds are comfortable. The bedrooms are tiny. There is no closet just a rack for hanging clothes and there is only one small drawer in each of the night stands. So your suitcase has to sit on the floor and since the room is small, it will be sitting right where you are trying to walk. Not too bad when you only are staying a couple of days but it would be a real pain with a larger suitcase for a longer stay. The place was pretty clean except for the bathroom. The baseboard in the bathroom was dusty and had hair all over it. Kind of a turn off. When we first arrived, the towel rack was coming off the wall in one bathroom and one of the lamps in the bedroom didn't work. The repair guy showed up quickly the next day to fix the towel rack but the lamp could not be fixed so there was no lamp on that side of the bed. Not a huge issue but it would have been nice if we had a working lamp. When we left, the elevator wasn't working so we had to haul the suitcases down a flight of stairs, again, not a huge deal but it would have been easier if it worked. I think this is a perfect place for someone who is staying a few days with not a lot of clothes/luggage and will be out partying until late so the music at 2 AM is not an issue. But we were two adults with two children so not ideal for us.

Parking is kind of ridiculous Recommend the parking garage in Ann Street....much better deal than what’s offered. Cleaning fees are very high—a great deal becomes ok due to fees. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

This building is older and sound carries, for future reference Charleston has a noise ordinance and our guests are welcome to report any disturbances. Perfect location for a Getaway Weekend
The condo was as advertised, spotlessly clean and roomy for 4 people. The location on King St. was walking distance to everything we did. Despite being Halloween weekend, street noise was not an issue. The place could use another comfy chair so that all adults have a comfortable place to sit after a day of walking the city. Also it needs to be noted that the bedrooms do not have windows, closets (they do have a hanging valet rack but no hangers), or chest of drawers for unpacking into. Not really an issue for a short stay, and you are not in the rooms much, but some may not like sleeping in a box. We would definitely stay there again as it is surrounded by amazing restaurants and shops, and is 3 minutes from the visitor's center where there is a wonderful group of folks waiting to help you plan your excursions, walking tours, and other activities - all excellent by the way! Parking is conveniently behind the building for an additional charge of $20/day, but if you fly, no reason to rent a car. We used an Uber to get from the airport (20-30min ride) with a very informative driver. Be sure to get breakfast to go at Callie's Hot Little Biscuit across the street...fantastic biscuit sandwiches and mouth watering creamy grits (we northerners are now converts of this delicious low country staple!)

Beautiful apartment, perfect location
We had a wonderful stay in the Ashley Suite! Spacious and cozy at the same time, the suite was clean, nicely furnished, and very secure. The beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed! Bathrooms were spacious. We loved the full kitchen. Not a lot of noise heard from King Street either-wow! We will come back to this spot for sure! So much more for your money than a hotel.

Perfect location
We recently stayed in the Ashley Suite for a girls trip to Charleston. This condo worked out perfectly or us, party of 4 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The location was great, easy to get around. We enjoyed several restaurants in the area, spent time at city market, which was within walking distance, or utilized the free shuttle which passed right by this condo. We enjoyed the ability for us to be together instead of renting 2 separate hotel rooms. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting the area

Nice place to stay in downtown Charleston
Overall we really enjoyed the place. It was newly updated and very clean. It is great for 2 couples and has equivalent bedroom and bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped for minor cooking. The beds were comfortable and the showers had good water pressure. Our only compliant was that the one bedroom was extremely noisy. We were constantly woken up throughout the night with people coming into the building. The one bedroom is next to the hallway where people enter. The door is loud when it closes and the hallway doesn’t have a rug to dampen the noise. They provide a noise maker but it is still incredibly loud.

Great spot!

Perfect!!!!
Our suite was clean, spacious, efficient, and perfectly located. We had a great time! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted or were able to get Ubers easily. This is a perfect space! We will be back and hope to stay there.

Wonderful place & excellent location!
Location, location, location!! Place was perfect. Staff at Walk Away Stays went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! Accidentally left clothes and they found and shipped. Would recommend!!
