Wonderful beach home in Cambria
This place is a dream. A wondering getaway for a small family or a couple just wanting to enjoy some rocky pacific coast time. Truly a gem.

Spectacular Views!!!
Unbelievable location and 180. Degrees cliffside ocean views that makes staying here so worthy. The house is older with basics you need to be comfortable. The beds were very comfortable from the king to the two single day beds in the loft area. Lots of towels, blankets and fireplaces to be cozy when the sun goes down. Fantastic location, next to Fiscalini ranch.. just blocks away from the bike and walking path. If you are a cook, the only recommendation is to bring yiur favorite pans and knives. Other than that, you will be fine. This rental is all about location and amazing, breathtaking views! Hope to return again in the near future.

Wonderful waterfront house
My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary in Cambria at the Inn above the Tide. The house is in a fabulous location, right on the water with great views from most rooms. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to enjoy our stay. My wife loves the ocean and this house was the perfect choice for our celebration. The check-in process was smooth and everything worked out great.

First trip to California
We had an amazing time on the Central Coast of California in Cambria. I’m so happy I chose this house on the pacific coast. The views throughout the house are amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck with the fire pit enjoying the sunsets. We enjoyed the walking trail though the reserve. The fireplace in the bedroom at night with the sound of the waves made for peaceful sleep. We hope to visit again in the future. Being from North Carolina we enjoyed the weather, especially this time of year.

Celebration
We were celebrating our 50th. Wedding Anniversary. We decided to pick a place by the sea. Could not have chosen a better place to stay. Incredible views of the ocean, very quiet neighborhood, walking paths and park around us, whale, pelicans, herrons and so much more. Good restaurants and shops in town. People very helpful and friendly. Hearst castle, Paso Robles, and other places around us to explore. Magical 50th. Anniversary- Thank you!

We had an amazing time at this property! It had more stunning views than I could have imagined! Outside fire pit, rocking chairs and hot tub put property over the top! Loved it and will definitely stay again!

Perfect place to relax

Beautiful Coastline
Good location. Condition of property fair to good. Floor plan good. Received a gash on my leg caused by a chair in disrepair. Reported it with pictures to property manager who offered a bottle of wine which was not accepted. Gash presently infected but healing. Next year will look for a nicer property in same location.

Beautiful location. Next door to hiking trails. Right on the ocean with steps to the rock pools. The kitchen was well equipped in terms of appliances. It was nice to have the bikes, CDs , ample towels and beach chairs available. My only negative comment was the lack of some basic items I have come to expect in VRBO properties. I was very surprised that there was no salt/pepper or oil. No caffeinated tea or coffee. No shampoo. I expected these basics at this price level. I would certainly brought them from home if I had known. This is the only reason for giving it 4 stars. The stay was otherwise amazing.

Amazing
Photos do not do justice just how beautiful the views of the coast are from both the outside and inside. Plenty of amenities i.e. washer/dryer, coffee maker, pans/pots/utensils, board games, tv/netflix, and towels. The beds are comfy, and the fireplaces make it so cozy. So blessed to have stayed here, and we hope to come back!

Nice cozy place with view
Walked through the gate when we got there and saw a beautifully tended flower garden. BUT, walked a few more feet to see an unplugged fountain full of green sludge. Walked a few more feet to see a rusted out metal table and chairs. Thought.."oh oh". Then we went inside and really liked it. Right on the cliff above the ocean. Beautiful views from every room. Each day we liked it more and hope to come back here again next year maybe even adding a day to make it six nights. There was a little problem with the hot tub but was still useable and it was great sitting in there looking at the ocean. Also Kayley at Breen was very nice dealing with.

Loved our beach front home in Cambria. Beautiful views, outdoor fire pit and jacuzzi, and direct access to the beach for walks and shell collecting. A wonderful stay.

Greatest Views
Great views, great location, very clean and windows spotless for seeing all that you can see. Wishes would be coffee and maybe $100 less per night, this is a one bedroom home, but overall no complaints, enjoyed my stay.

The Inn Above Tide: A Cambria Gem
My wife and I just enjoyed a beautiful week in this seaside gem. If you love panoramic ocean views you'll love this cozy, comfortable home. The panels of large windows provide continuous, expansive views of the open water and nearby shoreline bluffs of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Regarding the practicalities of the house, everything was as advertised. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in - especially while appreciating the view of the adjacent cove and shoreline. The bedding is quality linen and beautiful quilts - ensuring cozy warmth when waking to awesome views of the ocean through the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The bathrooms are clean and supplied with an abundance of towels. Sliding doors open on each of the two levels to patios that provide extended horizon views. Stairs lead down from the lower patio for direct access to the rocky beach. We love our beachcombing hikes in Cambria, and having a base camp like this makes our time spent all the more special.

Otter Bay
We had a great time in this beautiful house. Spent hours watching the otters frolic and feed their young. The location is fabulous. Close to Hearst Castle, walking trails, the beach and some cool wineries. Highly recommend this property.
