Location, location, location
The marina condo is amazing, the sliding glass door opens all the way across the wall, leaving us with uninterupted views and sounds of area. Super fun for people watching and boat watching without having to sit with all of the other vacationers and vendors. Every evening we would retire to the large balcony with some drinks and snacks from the store just beneath us, and watch the sunset while the large birds circled overhead. The condo was so comfortable: water to drink, great bed, lounge chairs for naps in the sun. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax yet still be in the fun of all the events of the marina.

Marina home base
Mike’s place was great as a home base for my wife and I to explore the Marina together for a few days after a friend’s wedding a few miles north. The renovated interior, large balcony, pool deck, and central location were all impressive. My only complaint probably applies to all properties near the Marina, but the noise from the nightclubs carries surprisingly far and until 3am, some of which we could still hear with the doors closed, but not enough to keep us awake after busy days exploring the area.

The place had a wonderful view of the marina. We watched the boats coming and going from the deck. We also had a great view of the sunset over the mountain. The facility was close to everything we wanted to do. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

A cozy getaway with marina views
We had an exceptional experience staying at this waterfront studio vacation rental in Cabo San Lucas. The location was ideal, providing convenient access to the beach, local attractions, and restaurants. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, ensuring a cool and comfortable environment throughout our stay. The host, Mike, was incredibly responsive and addressed any questions or concerns promptly. The unit was well equipped with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. From a fully functional kitchenette to a cozy bed and clean linens, everything was in place to make us feel at home. While there were a few minor issues with the shower drain, they did not significantly impact our overall satisfaction and they were addressed within an hour. The only downside was the lack of shade on the balcony, which could have been improved with additional shading options (although perhaps that isn’t allowed by the HOA). Additionally, the unit could benefit from extra storage space. While it was cozy and well-appointed, we found ourselves wishing for additional storage options to keep our belongings organized and out of the way. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this property for its convenient location, efficient amenities, responsive host, and comfortable accommodations. It served as a perfect base for exploring Cabo San Lucas and provided a cozy retreat after a day of adventures.

GREAT VIEW AND LOCATION, VERY NICE, CLEAN STUDIO CONDO...
Situated on the Cabo marina, this property has everything you need as a launching pad for your adventures. It is a studio, so it is quite compact, but it was perfect for this solo traveler. It would also work for a close couple, but it isn't meant to be a place to hang out in all day...although the nice balcony allows you to watch all of the boat action in the marina. The cruise ships unload on the other side of the marina, about a mile walk, which keeps the crowds down on the condo's side of the marina. Much nicer than the photos suggest, as it has been completely renovated and updated. You have everything you need, and the place was spotless when I arrived. The desk help are super friendly and accommodating. The place feels very secure, on the second floor with a locking security gate on the street level. Overall, highly recommended, worked out great for this fisherman.

Room was better than we expected, totally redone. The deck was big and great for sitting out to have breakfast and later for happy hr. Just watchin the boats go by, and amazing after dark listening to music from the clubs in the distance. Great excess to beach , bars restaurants. Would stay again for sure. Host Mike was great with giving us A run down in E- mails on what to expect prior to trip. Top marks for location

Hola Martin, Outstanding to hear you enjoyed our top to bottom remodel of this unit. You are certainly right about that view, one can never "tire" of watching the Marina Life from our front row vantage point. Just think, next time you stay with us, our complex rooftop pool will be completed!

Nice studio apartment overlooking the marina. Large sun deck with lounge chairs to sunbath should you choose not to go to the beach. Great location to watch the sunset/marina ongoings. Close to all the activities and Medano beach. Well equipped with all the amenities required. Would stay here again

The place was in the perfect location with a beautiful view of the Marina!
It was in an excellent location in the Marina. It was newly renovated and had a bigger refrigerator than showed in their pictures. We did have issues with the internet, water pressure and hot water during our stay. I the staff worked hard to correct our issues and would definitely give this place another shot. We stayed at Grand Solmar after this and they had internet issues too.

This was my wife and my first trip to Cabo and had been told by friends to stay close to the Marina. Mike’s place is just that a great location for 2 people. It’s nice / clean and you can walk to all locations around the marina and downtown to the night life and the view from the balcony can’t be beat ! Also a 5 minute walk to the beach which was awesome. Mike has beach chairs - tent and cooler there for you to use if you chose. Our air conditioner broke late in a day the staff down stairs was great along with Mike ( by email ) getting it fixed early the next morning. Will stay here again for sure !

Great Location
We stayed for 8 days at the end of April. We walked everywhere never needed a car or Uber to get places. We would stay here again in the future. It was quiet and secure, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent choice for a long or short stay.
The Marina Cabo Plaza is a wonderful place to stay. You just can’t beat the location right on the marina close to all the restaurants and shops. We walked absolutely everywhere including to the beach which is only five minutes away. This particular condo faces a westerly direction overlooking the marina. This means you’ll get lots of afternoon sun on the large and private balcony. Some people seem to find the marina quite noisy but we enjoyed the view and as suggested, we closed the sliding doors at night and found it to be quiet enough for a good nights sleep. The condo itself is on the small side but plenty enough room for two adults. My husband and I stayed for 40 nights and found we had all we needed to store our belongings, make meals and enjoy the space. The queen sized bed is comfortable and the room was clean and well tended. Staff on sight are friendly, helpful and professional. We could not have been more pleased and will certainly stay again.

I really liked my stay at this property. It is walking distance to a number of shops and several very good restaurants, including the one directly underneath the balcony. It was enjoyable to sit on the balcony and watch the boats go in and out of the marina. The studio has all one would need to be comfortable for an extended stay. The staff was attentive and helpful.

View view view!!
After spending 2 weeks with family we wanted to end our vacation on a quieter note. This was perfect!! My husband loved watching the boats going out and back and I loved reading on my lounge chair. Just steps to restaurants, medano beach and activities. We enjoyed the night life of the downtown area from our deck and the patio doors insulated us from the loud music at night. It was absolutely perfect!

Great time at the marina!
My husband and I had the best time staying here for a few days. We loved the easy walk to nearby bars, restaurants and the beach. We took a couple of boat trips (saw a TON of whales and dolphins) and a day trip to Todos Santos. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and can't wait to go back. The check-in process was incredibly easy, the room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Great location but badly needs updating of bed, furniture and decorating
The property has potential as the location is great but the furniture is dated and uncomfortable in the unit. Patio furniture is okay and the view of the marina is awesome. The bed makes noise every time you move in it. The mattress was okay but it's on and old wooden frame that creeks. The unit is dimly lit and the water pressure is very low. The pluses was proximity to the marina, town, beach and the price

Amazing Location!!!
Thanks Mike for sharing your great spot on the marina! There was nothing better than starting my day enjoying coffee watching the fishing boats go out. It was a nice short walk to Medano beach (lunch at The Office was fantastico)! While on my visit, I caught my first Marlin (80#s), I got to pet a Sea Lion for the first time, and because I was at the right place (Usual Suspects) at the right time, I got to hang out and have drinks with Toby Keith and his family. Toby also stopped in to Cabo Wabo for a surprise set which I was in the know about.Thomas at Usual Suspects is awesome and I did say hi for you. I am definitely coming back to Cabo and hopefully I will be lucky enough to be able to stay at your place again. Muchas Gracias!!

Very functional studio in excellent location
Very functional studio with small kitchen, patio, grill, beach chairs, cooler and snorkel gear. The location is perfect right in the heart of Marina and downtown Cabo with Medano Beach under 10 minute walk away!

Great Location!
We stayed at Mike's condo from April 17th - 24th. This was our first time to Cabo and we felt like the condo location was great. It has a good view of the Marina. It is within a reasonable walking distance (.7 miles or less) of all the places we wanted to go see and eat at. The beach is just around the corner near Breathless. Mike provides coolers, snorkel gear, towels, and chairs. Highly suggest bringing an umbrella to the beach if you crisp up like my hubby does. We were able to grab a spot on the beach that had a temporary retaining wall that provided him with some shade. I saw the Early Bird convenience store downstairs sold umbrellas for about $26 US dollars. Mike was great about answering our loads of questions and providing recommendations for bank, gym, massage, wifi, car rental, etc. Bring extra bath towels with you and/or be prepared to pay $140 pesos for clean towels. We found this out the hard way and on Saturday (April 21st) after asking if we could get clean towels, we were told that the cleaning staff would be back on Sunday (April 22nd) and we could get them then. We asked again on Sunday (April 22nd) for clean towels, we were told the cleaning staff was not working and we could come back on Monday (April 23rd). We came back on Monday (April 23rd) for clean towels, we were told they would have to ask the cleaning staff and also see if we would need to pay for them ($140 pesos). We never received new towels after 7 days of being there nor did we pay $140 pesos. Luckily we brought extra beach towels and used those as our bath towels to get us through the week. The room was clean and ready for us when we got into town on the 17th, which was great! We purchased a 5 gallon jug of water from downstairs ($50 pesos) for our room (highly recommend doing). The air conditioning worked great and kept the room cool and comfortable. The bed is firm, which we like. There was construction going on across the way over in the La Hacienda resort but I brought ear plugs and an eye mask and slept great. The room has a shade on the glass doors to the patio where sunlight does come into the room. If that bothers you I would suggest an eye mask for sleeping in.

Our stay at Marina Cabo Plaza
We enjoyed our stay at Marina Cabo Plaza, however some repairs to the unit would be a benefit. The shower did not have a shower head, the kitchen taps were lifted off and the safe never did open. The placing of the unit in the complex could not be beat, on the more quiet side of the building and the view was wonderful, the staff are great to deal with. The patio was large but should have the deck sprayed off more often. Loved watching the boats come and go and taking walks along the pier and beach were wonderful. Great location. Thanks

Great location!
We had a great time staying on the Marina! The location cannot be beat. Lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. We did not rent a car because it is not needed. Mike was very quick to answer any questions we had prior to the trip. The room is just as described - a studio with an awesome balcony. It was very clean and well equipped! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night and enjoying some cold beverages. If we come back to Cabo we hope to stay here again!

Great location and more than adequate amenities!
The check in/ out process was so simple. The room was spacious for a studio and directly overlooked the marina. Great restaurants within walking distance, and all the major bars are walkable (10-15 mins). The air conditioning is a wall unit that operates on a timer so it doesn't stay ice cold but that wasn't a problem for us in February. Bed is adequate but not quite luxurious - doesn't change the overall rating. Definitely spend the $3 usd for the 5 gallon water jug when you arrive - very convenient and needed. Will certainly recommend to others looking for a great location in Cabo san Lucas.

We loved our little studio. Walking distance to the beach and activities. Right in town for best restaurants and shopping. The front desk assists you with anything you need. The unit has a locked gate providing additional security. Only downfall is the bar downstairs. They stay open late so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

Clean and great location
Nice studio room with full bathroom. Location is right on the marina, so made for easy access to fishing boats and restaurants. Beach is easy access, 5-10 minute walk depending on how far you want to walk down. Front desk was helpful, had some difficulty in operating the safe in the room, but it was more operator error than the safe's fault. Only minor complaint had with the room is air conditioner would freeze up at night. We stayed first week of October and it was warm everyday, 90 with humidity, so we ran the air a lot when we were in the room. If we shut off for 60 minutes, we could turn it back on and it would run again for hours before freezing up. Only a minor issue, everything else with the room was nice and in working order. You can buy bottled water from the front desk, I think it was $4 for a 5 gallon bottle, much cheaper than buying bottled water.

We loved Cabo!!
We had an excellent time staying in Mike's studio apartment at Marina Cabo Plaza for 3 weeks. We loved our morning walks on the Marina, the beach chairs and cooler we took to the Beach every day, which is literally a 5 minute walk and all the restaurants available in a walking distance from the place. We, like most people would watch the fishing boats go out in the morning with our morning coffee on the balcony and then watch them come in (with sea lions riding on the back of the boat) having our drinks on the balcony again at the end of the day. We just booked another 3 weeks at Mike's place for March 2018! We have the "Cabo" bug. Loretta and Mike Turpin

Great Location, Great Waterfront Studio, Great Owner to Work With!
I highly recommend staying at Marina Cabo Plaza. My wife and I had the greatest time at MCP and in Cabo the last week of January 2017. The location is amazing with quick and easy walks to the beach and downtown Cabo. Making it even better was how easy the owner, Mike, was to work with. We communicated back and forth quite a bit in the months leading up to our trip and I don't think an email I sent to him went unanswered for longer than an hour or two. Many times much less! Mike also put together a great information packet highlighting all the do's and don'ts in Cabo that proved a very useful guide for us. The staff at MCP were also very nice and helpful. Definitely consider MCP for your next trip to Cabo. You won't be disappointed!

Convenience!!!!
Location is my number one thing about this condo! I enjoyed the balcony where we could watch the fishing boats come & go! It was an easy walk to the beach and all the Marina has to offer. The condo is a simple Mexican style studio. It was perfect for my husband and I. We were here for 4 nights and then we switched to an all exclusive to see which we preferred. I can only say I enjoyed them equally for different reasons. I still can not choose a favorite.... We will be back! We loved fishing (we were going to go 1 day and we went 4 days!!), we did ATV's one day and the beach. It was a magical 10 days in beautiful CABO. Mike was fantastic to work with.

A Great Stay, Despite Some Hiccups
This is a great crash pad for people looking to go out and explore Cabo! The location cannot be beat, and the Mike, the owner, was very easy to contact and he had great suggestions of things to do in the surrounding area. The building had a couple maintenance issues while we were there that required workers entering the unit; that made me a bit uncomfortable, but it was very brief. The noise of the marina after dark (people partying!) was audible, lots of music, party boats, people yelling and singing. This is a place where folks come to cut loose - the condo literally overlooks the water and the boardwalk, the nightlife is part of the atmosphere! We were entertained by the revelers, but if you're looking for a peaceful sanctuary, this might not be the location for you. We were very happy with our stay, we felt safe, and since we didn't have a car we were thankful for the centralized location!

Perfect!!
Stayed here for 5 days and it could not have been better. Amazing view of the marina from the balcony. Walked to every restaurant, shop, and bar. Was a 3 minute walk to our fishing boat. Even has a small store right downstairs for everything you need. Highly highly recommend and look forward to being back here.

awesome four days!!!
My son and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate his graduation from high school. We had a blast...everything is very convenient, we walked to everything...clubs, restaurants, shopping, beach. The condo is very well equipped with everything you can possibly need or want!! highly recommend this place and will probably come back here at some point.

Perfect Getaway
This is a perfect spot for people that want an inexpensive stay. The studio has everything necessary to have a couple nights stay. It is close to everything. We walked every where. Mike was very helpful. He was responsive and had great advise on places to check out. I think its a perfect getaway. I would stay there again.
