Quite & peaceful
We were in the area for baseball. It took about 25ish minutes to get to the park, but wasn’t a big deal for us. The house was clean and the view on the front porch was beautiful. The house had everything we needed for our stay.

Nice, but too far from All Star Ball Fields
Good for a vacation stay, but not at all convenient for daily trips to the Cooperstown All Star Fields.

Most people that stay at my house go to dreams park not all star fields. It’s still a beautiful, drive and much better than staying in the town near All-Star fields. There is really nothing to offer there.

Country Paradise
Stayed here with family while grandson played ball in Cooperstown. The homestead exceeded expectations. I loved the porch overlooking the green countryside, and the fire pit to have a campfire. Every room was designer beautiful. Loved it!!

Wonderful Experience
We were in town for baseball in Cooperstown, and we have a family of 6. Due to our baseball schedule, we didn’t get to enjoy the property as we wanted to, but our experience was amazing. We fit nicely in the house, and we were 25 minutes from Allstar Village which was not a problem at all. The house was clean, Ofie was very responsive and kind, and property was perfect. My husband and I were so grateful for our coffee on the front porch in the am! The views alone are worth your stay. Thank you for such a great experience.

Wonderful home and property.
I had great communication with the owner and everything was just as described. Great location and away from the crowds but close enough to travel back and forth to Cooperstown multiple times a day. An amazingly quiet stay.

Wonderful getaway!
My family came out to Cooperstown for my son’s baseball game and we rented the house. It was clean, cozy, quiet and the scenery was amazing! Ofie was available with any questions and their property is beautiful! I will be recommending it to other Baseball families who will be venturing down to Cooperstown next year! Thank you again!

Perfect getaway
This house was perfect for our family who stayed while our son played at Dreams Park! There was enough to do on property to keep his younger siblings entertained. Host was quick to respond to any need or question. House was amazing, clean, and well equipped with anything we needed. Definitely returning when our younger son fulfills his dream of playing in Cooperstown.

Relax in your own country paradise
Watch the sunrise and morning dew with your cup of coffee from the porch. At the end of the day enjoy beautiful sunsets from the outdoor swings and a glass of wine by the fire pit. Inside you will find country charm and a cozy feeling of yesteryear.

Always love going to "our farmhouse"
This was our third trip to the farmhouse, and it's always amazing. The kids love the freedom that we have, and it's so nice to get away for a few days and escape our normal lives. There was a little snow this time, which was so beautiful. The landscape looked like a giant postcard! Not sure when our next trip will be, but we're already looking forward to it!

Spring Getaway
We had a really nice stay with our three young children! Even though we were out of the season for many attractions in the area (we visited late March/early April and also while many businesses still limited by Covid-19 restrictions) there was so much to explore and enjoy on the property. Wonderful nature hikes! Lovely property inside and out. The kitchen is very inviting and has all the necessary basics. Really nice for families! Appliances are all top notch so we could easily do dishes, laundry etc. The layout of the home is lovely for hanging out and togetherness. The owner is very responsive in communicating. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful property !
If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Great property with plenty of room inside and outside. It is a very comfortable house with everything you need. We stayed the week after Christmas and were able to walk a lot of the property. Would love to come back in better weather to take advantage of what we couldn't get to. We did find the water fall on a snowy walk, which was fun! If you find yourself with a reason to be in this general area, I highly recommend considering this Farmhouse. Cooperstown is not that far away and a nice ride.

Beautiful home - just what we needed!
We had such a lovely Thanksgiving week at this beautiful farm house! The furnishings were very comfortable and cozy, and the three living areas really gave us the space we needed so that our family members could do puzzles, read by the fire, and watch a movie all at once! I was slightly confused because the WiFi directions in the house guide on the counter were different from the ones on VRBO, but was able to text with the owner to sort it out. (Took a little long because my cell didn't work there without the wifi!) Otherwise, just such a lovely place for walks on their property, my kids did online school and took breaks to play in the yard, we cooked together as a family in the beautiful kitchen. We loved it so much, we didn't want to come home!

The property was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out on the front porch, as well as having a few different areas inside to sit and talk or read. Close enough to Cooperstown, but not too close.

An amazing family getaway
I almost don't want to write this review, because we had such a wonderful time that we want to keep this gem to ourselves! But the trip was too amazing to not give it a 5-star review. We hadn't even left the farmhouse yet, and we were already making plans to come back to it. We're a family of five (kids are 9, 6, and 3), and this vacation was absolutely perfect. It was wonderful to start each day with a cup of coffee out on the porch, breathing in the crisp autumn air, listening to the sounds of nature, and looking out at the beautiful foliage that completely surrounded us. We walked to the farm up the hill, where they were extremely friendly. The kids got to pet their horse, and they let us pick whatever we wanted from was left of the pumpkins (which meant I got to pack 4 shopping bags full of mini-pumpkins in the car!). The hiking trails were beautiful, and were a welcome escape from the trails we hike in NJ that are usually crowded with other hikers. Definitely be sure to check out Rustic Ridge Winery. The pizza from the pizza truck was delicious, and it was so nice to sit outside with a tasting flight of beers and enjoy the scenery. We went to Cooperstown on our last day, but stopped at Fly Creek Cider Mill on the way (definitely get the doughnuts if you stop!). It was an easy drive to Cooperstown, and we'll probably spend more time there next time we come up. If you're looking for a scenic getaway, you'd be hard pressed to find anything better.

Wonderful farmhouse and property in the countryside
Ofie's farmhouse is as wonderful as it looks in the pictures ... beautiful, clean and relaxing inside and out. My wife and I enjoyed everything about this property: the tranquil setting from the front porch with beautiful country views, peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city, cooking dinner nightly outside while enjoying the warmth of the fire pit, except for two nights cooking inside in the well stocked kitchen with large oven and gas stove where it was also so easy to cook our morning breakfasts...all the pots and pans and utensils you could possibly need ... really nice farm table in the middle of the house for eating and doing puzzles and games (which we did several), the quiet bedroom in the back, the living room with gas fireplace for hanging out in the later evenings...the lovely property trails and and country roads right outside the door for hiking and exploring. All this and Cooperstown was really only a short 20-25 minute drive away with nice shops and restaurants. Don't miss Origins Cafe and Rustic Ridge winery/brewery if you do stay and have time. Ofie was available at practically a moments notice for questions, which we had so few as everything was easy to find. A really wonderful stay.

Lovely farmhouse
We needed a country getaway and this house provided just that. With trails crisscrossing the fields and woods and a huge lawn, we were able to spread out and enjoy nature. Lovely views. Enjoyed leisurely coffee and breakfast every day On the wraparound porch, hiking, picking berries and and grilling corn on the fire pit grill. The creek bed was dry when we visited except for one day after it had rained, so not able to enjoy that feature as much as expected. Otherwise the property was Exactly as described. Beautiful.

Oh you must have went to the wrong creek. You must have went where there is running water at times. The creek is further down which if you walk further is a water fall. I wish you would have called me. Sorry you missed it. It’s beautiful.

Great week!
Our family spend a week at the farm house. The property is very nice, the house is large and clean and is well equipped. Ofie (the owner) gave us lots of advise about what to do in the property: hiking, looking for raspberry’s, finding the waterfalls are just a few things. Communication with Ofie was a breeze. We found Burlington Flats to be well located near Cooperstown. The house offers many fun things to do. We roasted marshmallows outside in the fire grill and spend time in the swing looking at the views. We look forward to come back. Thank you Ofie!

Great getaway
The property felt very private and there was a lot of space both inside and outside to relax. The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware making it easy for us to cook and bake without worrying. Also, the firepit/grill just outside the house is a nice plus.

Even better than the photos!
A really beautiful location. So incredibly peaceful. Cooperstown is an easy 25 minutes or so from the house, but you may not wish to leave. Bring groceries or buy on the way, though; nearest grocery is in Cooperstown.

Peaceful retreat just outside of Cooperstown...
Just a short drive to the Cooperstown Dreams Park, this charming farm house was our quiet home away from home for a week while our son played ball at the park. The view outside is breathtaking and even better in person. The inside of the house is cozy and spacious, and we had more than enough room for our family. From early morning sunrises on the front porch to cozy nights by the fireplace, the home had a very calming feel to it. The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had such a wonderful experience and would absolutely come again!

Lovely upstate NY farmhouse
Beautiful property for hiking and collecting wildflowers. Easy access to Cooperstown and none of the crowds. Lovely farmhouse decor and beautiful porch to enjoy as well as well stocked fire pit to roast marshmallows/grill corn or burgers. Truly a lovely experience and relaxing time for our family. Highly recommend to stay here if you are in upstate NY. Ofie was a helpful host with suggestions on things to do/places to hike on her property.

Beautiful Setting!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farm house. Spacious, comfortable and just as the pictures depict. Gorgeous property that is private with lots to do - walking, hiking, playing baseball on the huge lawn area, or enjoying the fire pit and star gazing at night. Close to Cooperstown and other activities. Very easy stay from check in to check out.

Tranquility Farm
Our stay here was truly wonderful! The house is very spacious and comfortable. And the yard just begs to be used as the Field of Dreams. PERFECT outside for children to run and play. A big thank you to the owners for sharing their home.

Perfect rental
We stayed here while my son played at Dreams park in Cooperstown. It’s about 20 mins to dreams park and 15 minutes to downtown cooperstown. The rental is a country farm house that is perfect. Everything is new and very clean. We stayed with our 3 children and they loved it. The property has beautiful scenery of mountains and hills with a barn, large fire pit for grilling and s’mores and chair swing. The kids loved the swing that was in the front yard also. Our pictures we took was like a perfect setting. We also saw many deer, turkey and other animals on our stay. We couldn’t be more happy. The owner was also very personable and returned text and phone calls right away, and was happy to help with anything. If your friends are going to Cooperstown, they’ll be jealous of your rental.

Beautiful country home and setting
Fiance and I stayed here for a fall getaway weekend. Everything was wonderful and the pictures are an accurate depiction. No surprises! The farmhouse is beautifully renovated and comfortable. Tons of space, comfortable bed, modern kitchen, and lady-friendly bathroom! Ofie was a fantastic host, checking to see that we got in ok and that we had all we needed. Even offered us a late checkout as no renters following us. My fiance is an outdoorsy guy, and he loved the country setting with deer and turkeys in the field every day, and the tasteful hunting/fishing decorative touches throughout the home. We stayed here to travel the Cooperstown Beverage Trail and spend some time dining in Cooperstown restaurants. It was about 5 miles from our first stop on the trail, very centrally located, and about 15 minutes to Cooperstown. Easy to get places, but far enough away to feel secluded and serene. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Ofie!!

Cooperstown Dream Fields
Home away from baseball field. So glad we didn't stay in town when my some played baseball in Cooperstown Dreams Park. It was nice to get away from the park for the peaceful serenity of this farm house. We were originally concerned about the drive but it really wasn't that bad. It was a 25 minute drive. I sat on that bench each morning with my cup of coffee and watched the fog just as it is in the picture. Truly the view is incredible and unencumbered. The house was well kept, clean and furnished for comfort. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did !

Yes depending which road you take it can take between 18 to 25 minutes.

Beautiful, country home
We spent the weekend in Cooperstown and loved staying in this home. It was so comfortable, had practically everything that we needed and was located in such a beautiful area. We got there late at night and it was very dark and a little hard to find the street sign (also GPS service was lost), but with our printed directions we found it and Wifi was available in the house! Much better than staying in a hotel and we even met some friendly neighbors. Would definitely stay again!

Rustic and modern at the same time. A little piece of heaven inside an out!
Every convenience you need. Place was very clean and well supplied. The owner made sure that we were settled in and she was available if we had any questions. The pictures don't do this place justice. It is beautiful with lots to explore outside! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to schedule our next trip

Amazing New Years in a beautiful home
Five of us enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in the house. It was comfy and well stocked with everything we needed including firewood, kitchen supplies, linens, and even games! The host was very responsive through text to answer any questions we had. I would definitely come back!

Great location, about 25 minutes from both Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame and Ommegang Brewery. We cooked most of our meals in the well designed kitchen and had firepits outside every night even cooking steak and potatoes one night. Plenty of gathering spaces, big farm kitchen table, propane gas fireplace and wood stove. Super cozy. Easy hiking trails across the street. Swing for the kids. And the toilet is fabulous - you'll see what I mean! Owner very available, checked in via text soon after we arrived and very responsive to questions. Lovely views and location.

Beautiful home in the country
This is a lovely house -- the pictures cannot do it justice as to the size and comfort of this home. We stayed for a wedding weekend in Oneonta. It was so much nicer than staying at the Courtyard Marriott for our family of 4. The property is beautiful. Since it is in the country there is a bit of driving to get to Oneonta, but it is very convenient to Cooperstown. Ofie was very helpful in addressing our communications. I would highly recommend this home for anyone staying in the area any time of the year.

Beautiful house on a more beautiful property
My family loved staying at this beautiful well decorated farm house. The property was very serene and gorgeous. Full of wildlife. Great escape from the hectic baseball schedule. We grilled every night on the fire pit....so relaxing. If you are traveling with very young children there is no bath tub. Which was a bit of a challenge for us. Also, people drive very fast up and down the road so you have to keep a good eye on your kids. Lastly, do all your grocery shopping prior to arrival because there is no where close to shop. Except a small deli down the street. Other than a few challenges of traveling with small children the house was absolutely perfect.

Just to clarify for future guests. This is a very quiet road but when the very few cars do come by they are very fast. Thank you for the set review and Im so happy you got to enjoy the property I know people get very busy at the baseball camps.

This is a must see!
We traveled for my son's baseball tournament at the All Star Village. I waa a little concerned with staying a bit further away but the drive back gave us a chance to wind down after long days and for us traveling from FL it was awesome going through all the hills. The property itself was gorgeous just as the pictures show. The owner was very accommodating with tips and different things for us to do. I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking about making the trip whether it's for baseball or pleasure!

Beautiful home! Amazing location!
We stayed for 2 nights at this amazing home near Cooperstown! We having been eyeing this place for 3 summers and finally made it for an all too short visit! The home was amazing, but the best place was in front of the fire pit! We grilled steaks and it was perfect! We definitely want to visit this VRBO again!
