I really liked this place. It is, essentially, a bit house turned into a hotel. Each room is clean, they provide you a complimentary water and a basic kit in the room upon arrival. You have also cable tv.
The breakfast is very good: usually eggs and arepa (or bread) and chocolate or coffee. I really liked it, much better than the “continental breakfast” they give you in fancy hotels. Note: there is no buffet.
The hotel is a good headquarter for your visit to Bogota: near two important avenues: Calle 53 and Avenida Caracas (Transmilenio), so you can reach downtown easily (15 minutes by car), Zona G, Zona T, etc.
Don’t expect a pool, gym or the amenities of a big hotel chain; in exchange, you get a very good service, a smile, and the Colombian cordiality at an inexpensive rate.
In regards what the hotel could do better: I’d consider use anti-noise windows for the rooms facing the street. Those that wake up with any noise will have issues. I slept very well though.
Fully recommended for solo travelers and couples that want to explore Bogota and its surroundings.
Is this an option for a family with kids? I don’t know, maybe if teenagers.
Overall a satisfactory experience.
