Good for family and golfers
Spent Easter weekend with our 2 year old. Rooms were clean, comfy and spacious. Furniture a bit dated but wasn't an issue for us. Price reasonable. Service good. Facilities great (probably because I love golf and swimming). Food was great. Was very helpful to have a shop we could buy essentials. Overall very happy and is somewhere I'd gladly come back to.

Family outing not so nice
The service was not at the usual standard of a protea hotel. The Spa was disappointingly untidy and there was so much noise due to disgruntled clients who came before us. My sister's room had a dirty duvet. We just made the most of the outing after all.

Perfect Getaway
Perfect weekend away! Very peaceful lodge overlooking nature from your room. Great service and food served at the restaurants. Lots of activities to be booked by the club house. And the spa was incredible. Would definitely recommend to any couples looking for a getaway to relax and view animals from your doorstep.

Incorrect advertising on your website.
Good day I leave this message with great regret, that what was promised on your website about the reservation was not delivered. Firstly my reservation included breakfast, however upon arrival they insisted I pay extra for breakfast at R150pp. The reservation also stated that the room includes a private pool etc, but no such room was provided. This indicates that what is promised on your website when booking is not in fact a true reflection of what one gets. I will not stay at this resort again. Please review this and I will appreciate your efficient response.

Waterberg lodge
We enjoyed our stay but the Waterberg lodge need some serious attention. I visited the same lodge about 5 years ago and compared to then it went backwards at a concerning rate. We decided to have breakfast there on Sunday and the food on display was clearly a few days old. The salami was actually grey. No additional coffee and fresh towels was provided after room service on the Saturday.

4 to 3.5 stars, a very good lodge with 3 issues.
It's a bush lodge and it is very nice for such a lodge. It is clean and its relatively cheap. However the internet connection is terrible, which by 2018s standard can't condone any star rating beyond 3,5. The warm water tanks could be bigger as there was very little warm water during the late evening. The resturant waiters are helpful, but they have big issues understand and doing custom orders correctly. All in all it is a true 4 star lodge, but it lacks a proper internet connect, good supply of warm water and waiters that manage custom orders well therefore it is dropped down to 3.5. It is very clean and the room is very nice.

Excellent hotel with extremely friendly staff. It is primarily a golf estate so if you are not there for the golf there is not a lot to do except relax.Nearby game lodges do not allow access to people not booked in or no day visitors allowed .

A lovely long weekend away
We had a great long weekend at Zebula. The location is great - just a 2 hour drive from Joburg, but it feels like the middle of nowhere because it's so peaceful. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. The staff were great too. There was no wifi or cellphone reception in the rooms. It's a good thing if you want to disconnect from your usual routine.

Dropped in for a night and it was great
Staff were very friendly and make us feel very welcome. Room was clean and comfortable with in-room fireplace and indoor/outdoor shower a very nice touch. Dinner was adequate. We did not stay for breakfast but the buffet looked quite extensive.

From the time we are arrived we were treated wonderfully. Check in was quick a d efficient and everything listed on the site was available in the room. It was quiet as we arrived on a Wednesday and I expected service to lack a bit but it didn't at all. Highly recommended the pork belly at the restaurant for dinner. Thank you for the excellent service. We would like to return so.

Comfortable stay in African bush.
Nice place for comfortable stay in African bush. Pitty the kitchen's air vent noise disturbs the tranquilily around the guest cottages where one would expect pristine silence. Now it sounds if an aeroplane is idling in the distance. Some extra piping would solve the problem in my opinion.

Waterberg lodge with view of safari area and anima
Excellent lodge with views of the adjacent safari area. The food, service, and location was ideal. Played the Zebula golf course and had a great game.
