Great house perfect location
Property is perfect for families looking to enjoy the Oregon coast! Lots of space, lots of blankets and room to sleep. Very much enjoyed our stay with family, would stay her again.

Great fcrabbing in Bandon!!!
Ocean view was awesome!!! Sofas need an update. Kitchen is well supplied. Outside property needs some TLC!! I do understand the salt air effect) Deck and gutters need cleaning. Hot tub was good. Beds are very comfortable.. Front door lock needs repair and leaking faucet out front never stopped dripping. Overall it was everything we needed. Owners very responsive if needed. Will rent again.

Great Location
Great beach for beachcombing and surf fishing. House is okay. Furniture location really is poor. Sofas are situated facing a large TV that is about 20 feet away from the sofas. Furniture should be relocated so that you look at the great view and not the unneeded TV. Loft is great for TV watching. Oven was and is really in need of cleaning and weather stripping needs replacement for the front door. Outside faucet is leaking fairly bad. Location is perfect! Even though there were some minor issues with the house, I would recommend this property.

Guys golf trip
Great house, went up with three friends, so we all had our own bedroom, perfect. We invited a few of our friends that were staying on property over for a little pizza and playoff football in the house was perfect. The views are incredible!

Bandon Thanksgiving and Christmas
I've stayed in a lot of rental properties in Bandon. I grew up in Bandon and I've been coming back for years to visit family. First the positive: Location to the beach. We enjoyed the view and the sound of the ocean day and night. However, the negatives outweighted the positive. First, the biggest one for me was the rule that I had to have ALL towels washed BEFORE check out. This meant that we couldn't take showers the day we left because we wouldn't have time to get them washed and dried before check out. I've never stayed in a rental where this was required. Take the trash out? Yes. Make sure all the dishes are cleaned and put away? Yes. Never laundry. Every rental I've ever stayed at, either in Bandon or other places, this has ALWAYS been the responsibility of the housecleaners hired by the company or home owner. I want to be able to relax when I'm on vacation and relaxing means I don't have to do laundry. Laundry facitilities are provided so the renter can do THEIR laundry, not what the housekeepers are paid to do after check out. Second, ANTS everywhere. There were ants both upstairs and down. Lastly, the couches need to be replaced. They are all completely worn out.

We had a beach trip every year for 11 years in Southern California. This was our first Oregon beach trip since our move to Northern California. Although the ocean is different, the home was just what we were use to and made exploring the new area a delight! We look forward to returning.

Favorite beach
We love the south jetty beach. Although we understand the difficulty in maintaining property on the coast, this house could really use some mold and mildew removal. Inside and out. The upstairs balcony deck is spongy with mold. Couldn’t use it. The shower upstairs is in need of grout mold removal. Window screens and frames also need attention. To top it off, this house is in serious need of new mattresses!!! Especially downstairs. Love the pots and pans tho!

Great location & comfy
Stayed here in middle of September 2023. House has beautiful view, comfy and nice layout. Thank goodness for $ store as I did buy a few kitchen items otherwise it's well supplied. The hot tub was a plus! If you like to take walks on the beach or look for rocks, it's only a stone throw away. A few things could be updated but overall a great place. Khamsey was excellent at getting back to us when we had questions.

Amazing view, and amazing place, but ants.
Everything about this place is absolutely gorgeous. You are right up next to the ocean. The hot tub was amazing. You can watch the sunset right there in the hot tub. The only difficulty we had, and the only reason why it isn’t five stars is because of the amount of ants. I have two children and naturally crumbs fell on the floor. If there was anything edible on the floor, the place was crawling with ants. I contacted the owner and she immediately had an exterminator come out. I felt very well taken care of. I would highly recommend this place. It was beautiful and comfortable. Just make sure that you’re clean.

Beachfront Beauty
Beachfront was a privilege and sitting in the hot tub looking at the waves was a treat. The house was more than I expected from the pictures I had previously viewed. New floors and some new furniture. Another surprise was how well the kitchen was stocked. Whatever you need, it has it! From those staying in the bedrooms downstairs, they said the beds were too soft. We all really liked the door locks too. Unusual locking system. You need to be up early, showers completed so you can get the towels in the washer and dryer before you leave. Most definitely no early arriving as house cleaner was there till 4pm and check out on time as the hot tub cleaner was there at 11am. Basically what it says. We all said we would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay
Came down for a two day trip as a gift for my sister in law, who just got married. Pictures dont do the view justice and I'm in love with the master bedroom ambience. Amazing experience with the property manager. Some unexpected maintenance issues came up while we were here. The issue was fixed in less than 12 hours and the property manager offered us the opportunity to extend or trip a few days at no additional cost. How could we say no! I've told all of my friends and family about this location. We even discussed moving our wedding in 2024 and staying here again. I cant say enough good things about this place.

Best Beach Vacation Home EVER!
My family and I had a wonderful family vacation in this beautiful, cozy home with the most amazing views and amenities. The hot tub was clean and hot (104) all 7 days of our stay… we enjoyed soaking every morning and every sunset, and the beach was right in the backyard, easily accessible through the parking lot next door for the safety of the dune ecosystem. We walked the beach every day, combing for cool agates or glimpses of sea stars on the rocks. The house had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner every night, we even made a double layer cake for our daughter’s birthday. A great coffee maker, spices, and a huge assortment of pots and pans were available. We were originally planning to have the grandparents with us, but it turned out to be just the four of us (kids 13 and 11) so everyone had their own room, and the upstairs living area was performed playing games or chilling in the recliner. Nice big soaker tub in the master bath, and a private deck for watching the sunset and ocean with a glass of wine.. I would highly recommend this beautifully decorated, cozy beachfront getaway “the Bandon Journey” home!

Just remember this is a rental property
The location was great, yet the public parking lot next to the house was busy with people accessing the beach. The house itself is comfortable, but very dated and several windows need replacing as they had condensation that blocked some of the gorgeous views. The exterior of the house is poorly maintained, hence the reminder that it is a rental property. The hot tub is amazing though and made up for any shortcomings the house had! Two people are required to move the heavy cover for the hot tub. I was also confused about what I was to do with gargbage, and had to text the owner. I would probably look for another beach property if I wanted to go back. The town of Bandon is very cute with shops and restaurants.

This place had everything we needed. Even stuff that’s not listed, crab pots , and a pot with burner to boil them up! Sadly crabbing was closed but they have the tools. I’m told they are doing a few upgrades to the property currently so it can only get better! We will visit again

Incredible view! Close to the water.
Owner was very responsive to needs. Kitchen was large and well stocked. The light over the stove did not work and the light/fan area was in need of cleaning. There were spots on the rugs in the bedrooms. The amazing view made it possible to overlook some of the negitives.

The location, the view, and the Beautiful home itself was so enjoyable! We are sure to book this home again and bring more family members. There's so much room for so many to enjoy. Only thing I would say on the downside was the door to the hot tub was almost impossible to open, close, or lock securley at night🌙

Beautiful location, beautiful house wonderful for older seniors only four steps and three steps to get in the house front and back two Downstair queens , One upstairs king 14 steps great room for the kids outside master we will be back once again next year! Too many ants!
This property has the most awesome views and location. However, after the 1st day there were ants everywhere. Really bad in the kitchen, mostly on the counters, upstairs bedroom and bathroom, living room floor, on the carpeted stairs, even in the bed itself upstairs. I notified the manager and she said it had just been treated. We used the ant bait TARO which attracted many but there were still some after we were there for 5 days. The couches and chairs downstairs were worn and quite dirty. It's a shame because the location was beautiful and quiet. Hot tub was really nice.

Fantastic location
The house was perfect for us and our 2 kids. The location to the beach could not be better. Just steps away. There are not very many homes on the water in Bandon, so this was a real treat. It was also perfect location to the town. The house had everything we needed, we enjoyed the hot tub, especially after walks on the beach. The views are fabulous. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing Location!
Had a wonderful stay with family. Great location, you can't get any closer to the ocean! Also you are so close to old Town Bandon, you could walk if you want. Only bad things were the furniture is really dirty and I would only plan on sleeping on the beds the pullout couches are so bad and uncomfortable my 10 year old would not sleep on them. Other than those things it's a great place and I don't think you'll find a better deal that close to the ocean.

Enjoyed our stay but get ants under control
Gave a 2 for cleanliness only due to significant ant problem in both kitchen and bathrooms. Could not even make a sandwich on the counter in kitchen without getting covered in ants. Rest of house was clean. A few light bulbs were burned out and the motion sensor light in front of garage would continually go on and off all night long. Loved the lay out of house and its location. Enjoyed it a lot.

Million Dollar Location
The location of the Bandon Journey Home is stellar. When sitting in the living room, it truly feels like the ocean can touch the exterior walls of the home. We stayed during a week of storms in Bandon, so we got to see the Ocean’s tremendous power on full display. In terms of likes, the joke is an absolute STEAL for the price. The home is well stocked with pretty much everything you’d need to cook a solid family meal, too. There’s plenty of room to spread out for two families as well. The view, though, is why you come here, and it doesn’t disappoint. Enjoying it from the hot tub on the deck was splendid. The few negatives were small and pretty insignificant. The hot tub was well chlorinated (based on the smell) but somehow was discolored. It didn’t bother us, though, as we could tell the water was treated. The previous guests had clearly put away dishes that they didn’t clean well, which was their responsibility based on the cleaning policy. All in all this was a wonderful experience. If you’re expecting perfection for $225 a night in Bandon, well, you’re an idiot. This is a fine middle class vacation home with some of the most spectacular views in Oregon.

Anniversary in Bandon
The inside of the house was as clean as any other rental I've used. The main deck is situated so that when you sit down to relax all you can see is the grass on the dune. There is no view of the ocean or beach when sitting on the main deck. There is a master suite deck, but it was quite windy and/or hot, so we didn't use it. The hot tub was overly dosed with chemicals and was impossible for me to enjoy. My wife did use it, but admitted the chemicals were quite strong. This is actually the reason we chose this house and paid the high rental fee. This was a big let down. The majority of the windows don't have screens on them. When we arrived it was warm and muggy in the house. We opened the windows to get a cross breeze through the house to cool it down and air out the house. This was a mistake because the bugs took advantage of the windows being open. They joined us in the house that night. Overall, the uncomfortable feel of the house forced us out into town often. Unfortunately, due to COVID and the approaching off-season, most places in Old Town Bandon weren't open. A lot of stores and restaurants that were still in business didn't open until Wednesday, so we had a really hard time finding things to do on Monday and Tuesday.

Escape to Serenity
I stayed here with family from Idaho when I was in town for my daughter's wedding at a venue nearby. This beautiful home was the perfect place to escape for much needed downtime. The views are amazing and the property is clean with added amenities such as fresh coffee which we enjoyed in the mornings while absorbing the breathtaking view. I would so much love to visit this place again when I don't have wedding obligations and can spend more time relaxing. Thank you so much for sharing your spectacular home. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect beach vacation.

Seniors would love it!
Wonderful hosts, easy senior access to beach, bedrooms on bottom floor(2 queens) upstairs master king with bathroom and large loft with fold out and TV. Living room downstairs next to kitchen with large TV , Fold down couch and regular couch. Terrific getaway by the beach, all essentials are pretty much there. Spa on back lower deck and a deck off the master bedroom. Hosts were terrific and helped with anything you needed, don’t pass this one up for a bandon Experience.

Nice place
This property has a lot going for it. Lovely view and the hot tub. My only complaint is that it needs some repairs and a deep cleaning. Don’t try folding out that futon downstairs, it hasn’t been vacuumed out in months at least. We did have a fun time and Bandon is a lovely town.

Great weekend away
We had a great weekend away! The bbq needs to be replaced. The knobs don’t work but the hot tub was great! First night there the downstairs was freezing and couldn’t figure out why — we messaged the owner and we’re told the heater was out but they provided us with a portable heater to use until it could be repaired. The view was amazing and loved hearing the waves crashing at night was perfect!
