"I recently had the opportunity to stay at Kashmir Hotel Resort during my visit to Srinagar. Overall, my experience to say was nice, facility is more than average, the location of the hotel was excellent, alittle far from the airport but the scenic route to the place was good 30-40 min drive fom airport easy access to popular attractions, good dining options. "The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The roof-top terrace had a very nice view of the main road & the Dal lake, both at night and in daytime. The breakfast spread was very nice and the food menu was awesome - both Ala carte and In-room dining. A great location opposite Ghat No.2 at Dal gate and just 30mts from Srinagar airport."

"The rooms are too small for even a couple & a child but otherwise, spotlessly clean. Overall hospitality needs an uplift as I found the staff a little 'crude'. The warmth that we are used to in the Indian hospitality industry was nowhere to be seen but functional for sure. "

"It was not as we expected. The boat was located in a very congested area without any open view. The access to the boat was from land only through a very run down area killing the whole experience. On top, the hospitality was not good. The care taker showed resistance to provide any service about food etc. no towels in the bathrooms. Look for a better place to stay. "

"Owner couldn’t do enough to help as was the case with the rest of the staff. They even installed a shower for us as we enquired if any of the rooms had a shower, which they didn’t. Unfortunately water pressure so poor on the top floor that it was impractical to use. We were in room 310 on the top floor. Could do with curtains that cover the windows as there are tall buildings around the property and so it can feel like a goldfish bowl, especially in the bathroom. Electricity was a mystery in...
