Made for Family Fun
Great property for families. Plenty of room, immaculate pool and beautiful grounds. The family loved the grassy area, volley ball net, fire pit, pool accessories and the ping pong table. We encountered a few minor issues that were immediately dealt with due to easy communication with the management. I highly recommend.

Great getaway in the Paso Robles area
Overall very smooth process of booking, checking in and stay. The management company was very easy to work with and very responsive. This is an amazing property for a large family/group to visit together. We had deer visiting us everyday and were able to enjoy the property in spite of visiting on one of the hottest weekends in decades. The only surprise was that I was asked to sign a "rental agreement" after the booking was accepted and payment was also accepted - that came as a surprise, since I felt that I did not have any other option but to sign a document I did not have visibility into before making payment etc.

Just what we were looking for.
This property is a perfect place for a small retreat. There is plenty of room to spread out at tables for groups as large as 10 people in order to work on agendas, group tasks, working group documents and or projects. The property provides very nice and quiet accommodations with a lot of activities such as horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, bocce ball and badminton. If you want a nice place and be self contained and have plenty of activities to do, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. The staff at VRBO was very helpful and accommodating as well. The only constructive critique I have is that in the listing it say it is only 11 miles from Cayucos however I would say that is as the crow flies. If you are looking to include the beach you are a good 30 to 40 minute drive to the closest beach Overall though I would give this place two thumbs up. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Planned this weekend to hang out with family and we couldn't have picked a better home. It was well sized for our large group..We enjoyed the pool and hot tub thoroughly. The backyard was 'endless' with lovely trees. The kitchen and pantry were perfectly stocked with everything we could have needed. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!

Great Weekend in Atascadero
We enjoyed a long weekend staying at this beautiful home with our daughters and their families. The house is on a large lot with lots of privacy. Kitchen was well stocked and the pool area had areas for sunbathing and areas to sit in the shade. Evenings cooled off nicely leading to good times sitting around the fire pit.

Thanks for a lovely stay
Communication with property manager was great and were responsive when we had to reach them. House was spacious for our group of 5 adults, 4 kids. Outdoor areas were great and lots to do for the entire group - nice pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit set up. 2 recommendations for the house manager to consider for a better stay for future guests: 1) The grass area by the volleyball net was so muddy (from the daily watering) that we couldn't use that grass at all during our stay. The sprinkler went on every afternoon we were there and the grass never had time to dry. 2). Upgrade the internet/wifi. We had a few people who had to go to Starbucks to work because the bandwidth was too slow at the house for everyone to be online. Also, for the 4 days that we stayed, the internet was down for 2.5 days. The house manager did send someone out when it went down the 1st time to fix it. However, after that initial fix, the internet connection kept failing the last 2 days of our stay. The cellphone reception in the area is also very bad, so without wifi, it's a little challenging to receive any phones calls or do any work online. For some, this probably isn't important, but especially during COVID times when people are working remotely, this was very frustrating for those that had work calls scheduled during our stay.

We appreciate your feedback! We've contacted the landscaper about those watering issues and taken steps to improve upon the wifi service at Wine Country Retreat. There are some limitations with country wifi and a house full of 14 guests with multiple devices, but it should have worked more efficiently for you and will now work more efficiently for future guests. We had a wonderful time at this property. We went with a couple families for a group getaway and couldn’t have been more pleased! The house had all the fun and games we expected and really had a great time! Propety manager was also very responsive whenever needed.

Beautiful with a few major issues
We certainly enjoyed the rental at 3120 San Fernando. The house has all the amenities we expected. Your staff was very prompt and tried to resolve several issues we faced. Just a reminder of the problems we faced: -No air conditioning for the first two days. your staff fixed this issue but it returned later in the stay and took two more visits to resolve. -We had difficulties with the entertainment system in the living room. Your service attendant tried to fix it with no success. -When the second service attendant came to fix the A/C . No success We never had use of the system the entire stay. -Ants on the lower level. These appeared on the third day. We had to buy our own ant sprays to finally get rid of this issue. All of these issues were disappointing. This clearly reduced value of the rental . We suggest the lost value of our rental should be reimbursement of a portion of the cost. We leave it to you to take a first pass at the amount of this reimbursement.

Great Graduation Celebration
The house was exactly as pictured and the check-in process was easy and clearly communicated. We had a family celebration for my son's graduation from Cal Poly. The plan was to relax and do some wine tasting, hiking, etc but the house was so great for our group of 11 people that we spent most of our time just hanging out. Lots of wildlife coming through the property and while there are neighbors nearby, the layout of the house and grounds makes it very private and you feel like you are truly out in the country. The management company was very responsive. We had a minor plumbing issue during our stay (leaky sink) and they responded quickly and professionally. Only quibble was that we wanted the pool heated for our stay and they added an additional $500 (eventually negotiated down to $375) to our 6 day rental under the guise of "the cost of propane to heat the pool". I understand there is cost involved in heating the pool, but with the daily rate of this home, this just seemed like an unnecessary grab for extra revenue. Would highly recommend this house for a group looking for a relaxing wine country get-away. We would love to come back in the future.

Family Vacation
It was great to get away with family post “Stay at Home” Order. We all enjoyed some time in the country. Plenty of room for 3 families and Grandparents. The kids enjoyed the pool, basketball and volleyball. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Honestly, you don’t even have to leave. Looking forward to staying again!

Worth it
Lovely home, lots of room. Pool being heated during the winter (extra charge) was definitely worth it. Company very responsive to issues with the door code. Would stay again and recommend. Asked them to ensure there are 4 horseshoes for next guests, but lots of other toys available and nice grass for croquet.

Couples Getaway Turned to Family Getaway
The property was beautiful in pictures but in person, it was magnificent. What was meant to be a couples’ getaway turned into a family affair since three couples shied away due to the rising Covid-19 rates. Therefore, with our children along for the ride, we were able to take our annual holiday pictures around the property. The house amenities met all my expectations, especially the gourmet kitchen where we prepped our delicious meals. The hiccups encountered were the nonexistent liquid hand soap which was definitely needed during a pandemic. We had to go out to purchase 6 bottles as there were 6 sinks. The other hiccup was the septic tank back-up during our last night. Fortunately the property manager responded immediately and had maintenance and house cleaning there to fix the issue. We found out it was a backlog of old baby wipes/wet wipes. To eliminate this unnecessary issue and keep a family from experiencing our horror of foul sewer smell and flooded floors, a sign should be placed in all restrooms about not flushing these wipes. All in all, great place to for our families to spend some time together in trying times.

Family Wedding in Paso Robles
Traveling from the San Francisco Bay Area, we searched many properties for the perfect place to accommodate our family for our son's up coming wedding , almost a year in advance we chose Wine Country Retreat . The location was most convenient. The wedding was planned for St. Rose of Lima Parish in Paso Robles and the reception at the Mission Saint Miguel , in St. Miguel. Both were within 20 mins of the property location. With Covid19 the "large " wedding/reception plans were all cancelled . We kept our reservations for the house just in case something changed. As the wedding evolved into a very small courtyard Mass Ceremony at the Church and a family dinner reception, this property turned out to be such a Beautiful Blessing for us . My other 3 son's were groomsmen and daughter was a bridesmaid and the well maintained lush grounds made a perfect backdrop for some absolutely stunning family photos. The weather tried to ruin things with 110 degree heat all weekend including some rain showers and massive humidity to boot.. The house stayed nice and pleasantly cool inside. My husband, being a building contractor of fine homes and having a landscaping division also, the beautiful high-end fine finishes and well maintained landscaping did not go unnoticed .This home is a quality luxury home.. The dark bottom pool design is wonderful for sitting and keeping cool and the water is amazingly soft and so relaxing and if it is your cup of tea and( not 110 degree outside)there is a big beautiful hot tub/spa to also enjoy. The beds are comfy the living areas are spacious the master shower is amazing !!! We were all very pleased.

Large Family Getaway
Perfect for our family from Northern and Southern Cal. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The pool was divine, and the Bocce Ball was the star! It was amazing to wake up to deer families walking by our window in the morning. We loved it, and plan to return next year. Thank you!

A perfect 10 -- we'll definitely come back!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at this wine country retreat. We had 4 adults and 5 children (age 3-10) and it was a perfect place to spend 5 days. We heated the pool for an extra fee but it meant constant play time for the kids and the hot tub was a delight. We roasted s'mores, played croquet/bocce, rode our bikes in the driveway and pet the horse at the farm next door. We will absolutely be back again!

Amazing weekend with friends!
We loved this property and are already thinking of the next date for our stay. The home is in a great location & very private, it feels just like home. We enjoyed watching the wildlife pass by while we were playing volleyball and hanging out by the fire pit. Would highly recommend and we will be back! 51st. Anniversary & 70th Birthday Celebration
Truly amazing! A great time was had by all!! We were celebrating our 51st. wedding anniversary, and an early 70th birthday celebration for myself. We had our 3 adult children and their spouses, 3 adult grandson's and 2 adolescent grandson's and we all had so much fun. There was so much to do there, we didn't even have to leave at all if we didn't want to. It was so relaxing, swimming, hot tub, bocce ball, horse shoes, pool table, table tennis, volley ball. The house is very well equipped. And for the cool evenings they have a nice fire pit. Its very spacious. Also when I first walked into the house I was a little disappointed to see how small the fridge was in the kitchen, but then they have a big fridge in the garage, and another fridge in the guest house, and a small fridge out in the cabana and a bathroom! My family and I were so impressed by all this that we plan on coming back again soon!

Amazing Perfect Property
We rented this property for my daughter’s wedding weekend which was 3 miles away. We wanted our friends who were flying in from out of state and our other kids and granddaughter to stay with us. Wow - amazing amenities- all the outdoor games you could want - pool jacuzzi and the BEST part - deer families and babies in the evening and morning! We had a small brunch the next day after the wedding and everyone was impressed and a few even said they would be trying to book this place for events in the future!! We will be back soon!! (We probably shouldn’t have given it such a glowing rating - won’t be able to get a reso)!
