Hotel muito bom!! Quarto bem limpo, com cheiro de limpeza e nem sinal de cigarro. Toalhas muito limpas. Bom café da manhã.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times when visiting Avl. The rooms are usually clean and the beds sleep just fine. On our last trip in April, our room had a scent removing machine running in the room when we walked in. The room had a musty, slightly smoky smell to it. Not really what you want to see or smell when you arrive. It seems as if a prior guest either smoked cigarettes inside briefly or they stood outside the door with the door open and the smell and smoke drifted in. At least the hotel took measures to try and resolve the smell. We could have asked for a different room I guess but we were on the go. The front office said we could just keep using the machine for the night to help eliminate any odors. We got back late and the smell had reduced considerably. I would stay here again.

The Breakfast buffet was not replenished with fruit or yogurt after Day 2 of our stay. The motel had no "do not disturb" door hangers. Neighborhood generally noisy; with rolling trashing cans adding to the din. Did not come close to the "Quality" in the name.

Staying upstairs was a pain bc the limited ways to get up there and our room where no where near convenient 222 and 226 - the car was downstairs obviously but then you have to walk much further to the right or left To get to the stairs and then continue to walk further to the far right or left from the stairs… just a pain. No convince with that. Check in was a lot longer then it should have been - we had to wait over 10 min before they even started ours. Only 1 person in front of us and they never even acknowledged us at all.

The side of the property we stayed on was a little loud with just general road noise. We’ve stayed here before and noticed it then also. The rooms are also a little dry. My partner and I both woke up with dry lips and throats. Like a desert lol. Our shower also leaked a little. We were in room 225. For the price of the room and the location. It was fine! Overall very good and we would stay again. It’s a very easy drive to downtown, clean and the staff is very nice.

The heater/ac in the room would run and cut off. We tried to find a sweet spot where it would stay on but the temperature did not seem to affect it. Made it a little difficult to sleep at night without TV on to mask the cutting on and cutting off.

I liked the overall look of the room; TV remote w/channel guide was easy to find. Sadly no basic, stepbystep explanation was attached explaining how to enter numbers, change channels....when I tried it didn't work; thus had to rotate channels to determine, precisely, was being offered. Also, a bit of attention to heat/cool system seemed to have been missed. Unit seemed to come on/off much too frequently,,,,,,resulting in more noise than desirable.

Our room was on the back of building where it was quiet which was suggested at check in. My husband has a rollator walker that wouldn’t fit through a narrow bathroom door. The front desk was able to put us in handicap room which was great.

Good for the price. No issues with rooms
The "breakfast consisted of little more than white bread and weak coffee. Be careful the base of the tub is tapered slope with no matting. Very slippery.

The breakfast could have more options. Parking at times was tight, when the back park area was full it was hard driving through the lot.

Free Continental breakfast was disappointing
Room was nice but we could hear people talking outside at 4;30 am..noisy. Breakfast was very disappointing,notuch to eat..toast,waffles coffee and juice..could have used more choices..like yogurt,fruits,bagels etc..

Breakfast was the only problem. Saturday morning, the first time i tried to eat, the staff and their children filled entire dining area, so that as someone paying to stay there I had nowhere to sit. Also, limited food options: bread waffle or cereal. Sunday, all of the bread was stale.

You can tell the building is old. The renovation effort makes the hotel looks newer and clean. One little detail: upgrade the AC unit in the room. A bit outdated and too loud. Besides that, it was great.
