"We went for some rest and peaceful surroundings and found exactly that. California's north pacific coast is a treasure land of beauty and great vistas. The Coast Guard House was a perfect landing sight with warm and welcoming accomodations, spectacular views, central location to explore from. We will go back."

"A nice motel on the Lake. I was in a Lake view room which was definitely worth the extra amount for the view. Very strong cleaning smell at check in - I needed to leave windows open and fan on to clear the smell. It was a bit noisy with a large family group with children that took over the back lawn. Children started yelling while playing outside at 8:00 am and adults were drinking outside until 11 pm, even though quiet hours were posted as 10 pm. Would have been helpful to have a channel...

"The property was what I expected, for the price. I wanted a walkable place to a friends in the area. It was quiet and I slept well. That's what I wanted a place to crash with a mini fridge and microwave. The staff was friendly and responsive."

"We enjoyed the picturesque window view, however the windows didn't have screens. The place was very quiet and the room was clean. The parking lot is very small it was difficult to maneuver our 16 ft pontoon even when we were the only car in the parking lot. But to be fair, when you're staying at the hotel you don't need a boat they have a lovely pier to fish from from"

"My start was great! The room was clean enough (someone left Taco Bell in the fridge). The fridge was large and cold. There was a microwave as well. A table to work at and a table to eat at (chairs for both). Right on the lake was a big plus! A lot of folks hanging out in the parking lot. Don’t bother me none but it may bother others!"
