"The house is beautifully decorated and bountifully stocked. The internet speed is fast and reliable, but we used our time to unplug and put down devices. I really enjoyed the pastoral views. We got to see green rolling hills, cows, the mountains in the background and lots of backyard birds. It is a very special property."

"Preston and Judy are delighful people. They responded to any question or need very quickly. Judy even grasciousy washed the pillowcase of a pillow that was left behind before we could get it the next day. The house was great and the view is spectacular!"

"Our group of 8 stayed for the weekend at Lisa's beautiful farmhouse. We were there to attend my niece's wedding that was held at Stover Hall which was less than a mile down the road. We really loved the house and enjoyed all the amenities and extra touches that Lisa so lovingly added. The house was spotless and there was plenty of space for all of us. The laundry room with the iron and board was really appreciated as there was lots of wrinkles to be ironed out! The fresh duck eggs were delicious...

We saw horses, goats, steers, alpacas and a large tortoise. It brought me back to my childhood growing up on our family farm in Wisconsin. The views are incredible at any place you look. We sat on the porch and watched the sunset and then went to the back and started a fire on the very nice patio with a grand...

"We really enjoyed staying at this cozy, renovated1700's kitchen house! It had perfect spaces for our 2 teenaged boys to spread out upstairs, beautiful views and places to walk, and was excellent for running between Woodberry and Charlottesville. The friendly dogs and fresh eggs were an added bonus for us."

"The grain silo was amazing! As you pull in, you see cows on both sides of the driveway. Nice rolling hills absolutely beautiful waking up to the roosters crowing in the morning was awesome. Jimmy was amazing willing to help out anyway he could. Tons of space for kids or just to sit back and relax."

"Property is close to Lynchburg bit lets you enjoy the country setting. It is a great place to unwind and hang by the firepit. Everything you need is there and the host was available when needed. We had no reason to contact the host as the property was exactly as described. We will rent again!"
