"We took our niece, nephews and grandson away for a mini vacation and to celebrate my husband’s 62nd birthday. I highly recommend this beautiful home to stay in. Very quiet, clean and easy access to the lake, basketball courts and pool area. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year so the pool wasn’t open but it overlooks the lake and mountains surround you. Kids had a blast."

"Our family had a wonderful vacation at M&D's Lakeshore Bliss! After visiting the NC Zoo, this was a perfect location to extend our family fun with great water views and plenty of outdoor and indoor amenities. "We really enjoyed staying at the Tar Heel House. It was just what we were looking for on our long weekend getaway with friends and family. "Lake house was clean, and beautifully decorated. We had a fun relaxing time fishing from the dock and drinking coffee on the porch in the rocking chairs.
