"We spent a long weekend, looking at the leaves in the Catskills. Our stay at the Crystal Brook Resort & Mountain Brauhaus was wonderful. While the accomodations were retro, it was a clean and comfortable room. The staff, family actually, were amazing, friendly and cheerful. The meals, breakfasts and dinner were hardy, and delicious. (The leaves were also right at peak, so that is a plus.)"

"Spent the weekend by myself to enjoy some skiing ag Hunter Mountain and this was the perfect place to stay. Since I booked the accommodations Chuck, the innkeeper, has been in touch via email, arranged my late check in and everything was as planned. The inn is very cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is another conversation as Chuck himself bake muffins and prepares the best bacon ever. I will definitely come back."

"It was an amazing stay for our ski trip. Very clean and comfortable beds. Convenient with a good quality food market next door. Kids love the game room as an after ski activity. Only wish the kitchen was equipped with dishwasher and stocked with cooking oil."

"It seems clear from the review of other guests that Village 1 does not meet expectations and it was no different for us. Unfortunately I had not read those reviews before booking. We paid for a place with a view which was in a mountain location and isolated location and we got a very old historic house right next to the city centre. "Very poor customer service! The owner wasn't friendly and helpful. I understand we are going through difficult times but if you don't know how to deal with the stress of the situation then close your business. I asked for hot water in a paper cup for a medication. The owner made a fuss about it. The TV in the room wasn't working the owner got frustrated after he found out. Go someplace else where they would appreciate your business."
