"The only thing that was wrong was the 1st night the refrigerator made a loud humming noise all night. The next morning we told them and they changed it out right away, even moved the things we had in the refrigerator to the new one. Both of them cooled well, just the noise was a problem. The staff could not have been nicer. We were happy with our stay and would stay again."

"The people that work there are excellent. They go out of their way to accomodate you. Check in and out was super fast and easy. They have a cute little covered grilling area that Ithought was pretty cool. The rooms are a little dusty and the air conditioning took forwver to cool the rooms down. They should probably turn the air on when they know a room is reserved. Overall a good basic motel with great customer service."

"We had a great visit! The house is very remote, no cell service, which was what I was looking for. The back deck is awesome. The house is surrounded by trees and the deck stayed cool all day so that is where we spend most of our time unwinding. "When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!"

"Saying my fiances stay and mine was amazing at this place just doesn't do it justice!! It's exactly as pictured! We had so much fun! "Family Paradise was the perfect setting for my family to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. The house was set on a beautiful cove with breathtaking lake views. We enjoyed the kayaks, slide, and jump platform. We tried to fish , but were never able to catch anything. Shannon was very responsive and able to answer all questions we had leading up to the trip. I would definitely recommend staying at this location, and I hope we can again soon."
