"The resort was beautiful, clean , and in the center of everything. I enjoyed Casa Roots restaurant however it’s not in walking distance so a cab is recommended. Also they’re only 3 options of restaurants on the property to eat and their hours vary . I enjoyed the Antigua breakfast at Salt Plage the best . Sandals resort is next door however in order to eat at their restaurants you have to purchase a day pass and I don’t know how much that is. Don’t get suckered I’m to paying for beach chairs ....

"We arrived and checked in with no problems. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Oscar was the best! He always checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. He even changed our car tire when it went flat. Leonard was also helpful while checking in with his staff and patrons. Our little apartment was right in front of the pool. "Driftwood Cottage provided the perfect Caribbean escape. Set behind a lovely pool in Sarah's magical garden, the rustic cottage is truly a departure from the usual day-to-day. "My husband and I were greeted with such warmth and friendliness by Maria. We had a little car incident and Maria went over and above the score to help us. The place was comfortable and charming and just a few steps from a little private beach. I would recommend a car for getting around and exploring. Even her staff was as kind and charming as could be. "The property is very tired and there were no pantry items not even salt and pepper. There was no phone for local calls, the tumble drier was broken and according to the cleaner had been waiting repair for a long time. Towels were clean but most were heavily stained and we had to ask for toilet rolls which were not replenished. The villa had not been cleaned, despite Covid regulations, before our arrival due to the managing agent Simone directing our taxi driver to the wrong property. We had...

"Helen has a beautiful and very spacious house. We were two adults and two small boys (7 and 8), but you could easily stay there with two families - definitely two couples and a child. There was everything we needed there and having two bathrooms really does make all the difference - and having a washing machine! Plenty of towels and linen. The house was fantastic. "The manager/owner, Hopal, lives on site and is very helpful. We accidently left our lights on in our car and ran the battery down, Hopal with the help of the neighbors got us a jump. The accomidations were clean, decorated well, full kitchen with cookware and bathroom with various shampoos and lotions. There was also a welcome basket with cookies, crackers, coffee, teas and candies. It made our stay very comfortable. We would stay here again."

"We stayed for 15 days. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath unit had a great distant view of the water from a balcony where we enjoyed cofffee in the morning and cocktail at night. Our only problem was trying to find it in the dark on our arrival as there didn't seem to be any actual address to give to Siri, but our property manager met with us and guided us in."

"When we arrived, the hotel was less than two weeks old so everything was new new new! Which I absolutely loved. The downside is they didn’t tell us the hotel would only be at 30% capacity to train the team so the ‘party’ Element was definitely lacking. Also the team were quite untrained at the time with bar staff no knowing what Prosecco is or just the basic cocktails from their own menu. The entertainment staff were UNREALL!! So good and so full of energy throughout! We had the butler service...

Lovely place: a good choice in Antigua
"It is a charming hotel that makes you feel at home. There are just 16 rooms so it tends to be more intimate than standard resorts. Our room was number 9 on the superior floor reached by stairs. It is a cozy apartmente with room, kitchen, living room, bathroom and a small porch where you can rest while having breakfast or reading a book. The air condition is a need. The hotel is right on the beach and altough it is a public beach you are going to feel like in a private one. Just beside you have Salt & Plage Restaurant which is wonderful. There is also Roots, a ten minute walk also very good. The island is pretty expensive so expect to pay high for the meals. Taxi is also expensive.They charge 20 US for taking you and picking you up to do some shopping at the closest supermarket not 5 minutes drive from the hotel. The staff was good. They are nice but I was expecting more from the front desk. I asked about tours and the front desk employees haven't showed much effort to help me. So I did the bookings on the internet. I will specially thanks two guys who deserve a special compliment: Stanley by the pool - he was always smiling and singing. Oscar from Domenic Republic on the beach was kind and helpful. Anyway, as a complete and sincere review I would recomend the Buccaneer. We had a great and enjoyable time there."
