Staff was more than accommodating with any request we had. This was the perfect resort for a girls trip, food excellent, pool and beach beyond our expectations. Music was new and fresh. The lobby gorgeous and fun at all hours. The night club was great. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond.

It was an exceptional stay. The resort offers something for all ages. I was on a trip with just my husband. We booked an Oceanview suite, and I was not disappointed with the view. The rooms are standard, the bed was very comfortable and in the suite everything is available in the kitchen if needed. There are many restaurants to choose from, as you can also go to their sister hotel next door, the Vanderbilt, but the poolside restaurant, Solera, had amazing food. It was the best chicken breast I had by far. The access to the beach is breathtaking. The staff was very helpful. There were reviews about the noise, I will say if you secure a room near the pools or lobby, then yes the noise can be a factor. We were on the other side and heard nothing as we chose the ocean view suite. The lobby does play music and many guests are in the pool late. If you are visiting San Juan and not planning to tour other areas on the island, you do not need a rental car. Ubers are easy to get in San Juan, and many of the tours offer pick-up from the hotel. This resort was exceptional and I would book this location once again and recommend it completely.

The entire stay was awesome from the time we reserved until check out. The concierge team was amazing! I would definitely stay again. It would be even better if it was an all inclusive resort, the food can get pricey.

Very well kept resort. Friendly staff. I don’t like the resort fees they charge. They do show what the resort fees are for but we hardly used any of the services. $72 resort fee a night is kinda steep.

The staff was amazing. Room and details were dirty. We were sent to a room that was under construction. Overall a good stay thanks to the pool and staff! Love the beach access.

enjoyed my stay at La Concha. A great vibe and the hotel and pools are beautiful. Other than a grumpy bartender, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you're young and like nightlife, it's a great place to hang out. It was also fine for people who want to go to bed earlier. Lots of great restaurants close to the hotel and everything is an affordable uber ride away. Loved the adult pool steps away from the ocean. Great coffee shop inside the lobby. My only cons would be that the hotel bar and beach food/drinks are crazy expensive and so are most of the restaurants in the resort. We ended up with a 1st floor cabana room which was not good. We couldn't open our curtains because our room looked out to the pool and visa versa. The lowest we could get the temperature in the room was 70 degrees which made it not the most comfortable to sleep at night. After leaving the resort, I had an issue with my bill. I called the hotel and just kept getting directed to VM. I called Marriot and was told someone would get back to me but no one did. It seemed customer service stopped after you leave the resort. I ended up figuring out the issue on my own. Overall, Great resort. Would recommend!

La Concha was conveniently located and the staff was helpful and friendly. For the cost of the room, I would have expected a little bit more in terms of the quality of the room. The sink wasn’t working well and the faucet was loose. And while I know it’s a bar at night, the lobby music was ridiculously loud. You couldn’t even hear yourself talk when checking in.

Es un hotel viejo, le falta mantenimiento a las fachadas. Las albercas son pequeñas. La habitación está bien. Varios restaurantes alrededor en la zona. La playa es peligrosa por las corrientes, no recomendada para nadar, eso sí muy bonita.

There is some suspicious hidden fees that I was not aware of separate to the $360 resort fee. There is no indication stating an additional $500 fee will be held for incidental charges for food/drink purchases on the resort that will be deducted. I asked the representatives to show me where the $100 per day incidental fee is stated on the contract and still there is nothing shown in writing, which is quite bogus and unprofessional, as these additional charges can be changed based of the hotels discretion. Also, the representative ‘Luis’ when I asked for this information in writing to provide clarification, he was also not understanding, nor was able to provide any form of documentation showing the additional incidental fee daily rate in dollar amounts. The only thing shown was guest will be charge $250 for smoking in a non-smoking room. I also called Expedia where I booked the hotel and they were also unaware of the hotel additional fees. Lastly, my bathroom shower head had no water pressure and no matter how many times I informed the hotel, no one came to fix it. I was also disappointed that I couldn’t enjoy the pool because I was told an event would be taking place at the pool and I had to get out. My other concern is the fact that, even when wearing my hotel band on my hand, I was stopped several times to show if I was staying at the hotel. I’m not sure why, because I didn’t see other guest being stopped to show their resort band.

The property was located in an area with easy walking for dining. The pool areas were all clean and easy to access. The beach access was also very clean and easy to access. Also, I enjoyed gambling on the property as well.

The hotel was very nice for the most party. Rooms were somewhat updated but small and still could use some upgrades. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were all nice and helpful during our stay. Food at the resort was decent for a hotel but a little overpriced for the quality of it. However, the serafina restaurant that is also on the hotel was amazing and we enjoyed our food there very much. Hotel could improve on cleanliness of bathrooom in the lobby and my the pools/beach. Also, the hotel has a night club in it so except large, loud crowds of people up to 3ish am especially on weekends.

Our stay here was amazing. We had an ocean view room with an entire wall of windows. The shower was roomy. The room was clean and offered many amenities. If I'm being nitpicky, we weren't fans of the pillows and the thermostat fan would reset to the lowest setting automatically, which made the room too warm for us. The staff were ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Lots of places around the area to eat and a pharmacy a block away if you left anything at home. We would def stay here again!

La Concha never disappoints. This is our “go to” property whenever in Puerto Rico. A variety of excellent restaurants are within walking distance and Ubers are easily accessible. The staff at the hotel is always very friendly and there to assist as needed.
