"We visited Sandusky for the 2024 Solar Eclipse, and even this hotel was desolate considering the buzz surrounding the event. It's definitely an older hotel, and some of the rooms are cut off from the main lobby and are accessible only by going outside to the front of the hotel. It's a dated experience but for the cost, can't complain too much. Just don't expect a super-modern Holiday Inn or anything of the sort. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were recently updated.
