"Found the cabin on the second try, it’s hidden in plain sight, right off the road. Hosts provided welcoming touches like a personal sign and flowers. "Not only was the space perfect, but the owners made it that much better. Across the street there is a creek that is so fun to play in. They have an outdoor cooking area that protects you from weather but is so much fun to cook on. The screen room is for games and the humming birds are so silly to watch. "My friends and I rented marks house for about a month for part of our snowmobile season and its great spot. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers and trail is like 1/4 mile from the driveway. House was nice and clean plenty of room for everyone to sleep"

"This is our second year staying at the cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was just as great a stay as last year. We enjoy how open but cozy it is, the charm of the knotty pine and being close to our family. There is everything you need including for cooking. The gas stove was plenty warm for us, but there are other heaters in the bedroom and bathroom if you need it super toasty. "Proximity of the property to the lift and fitness center was ideal, walking distance to both. The major downfall is the 58 steps it takes to get to the unit itself. Definitely a difficult scenario after skiing all day or carrying belongings up. Would have been nice if there was access to the dumbwaiter. Overall a nice place."

"We stayed at Ron's place for a 4 day weekend of ATVing in the area. His cabin was immaculate. The location was super quiet. He was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The view of the pond was stunning and spending some time on the dock after our rides quite relaxing. We will definitely be back again and would recommend his spot to anyone."

"My husband and I were visiting family close by. We also did an atv ride which was a short drive from the cottage. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The little loop of cottages was quiet and relaxing. There are many activities in the area. The cottage is close to Skowhegan, so you can get groceries there is a Walmart and Dunkins, yet it's out enough that it feels private and country like. The screened in porch was very nice. A short walk away and you are at the lake."

"This Caribou Island cabin was perfect for an end of summer getaway for my kids (13 and 11) and me. The highlight for us was the location--nestled in the trees right on the lake, but completely private. I can't say enough about how beautiful the property is. "We loved staying here! It was absolutely beautiful, very well stocked and the property manager was phenomenal. The only thing that I would have changed was the stove, the burners would sometimes just stop producing heat but other than that, it was perfect!!"

"Was beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a gathering. BUT hot tub overheated once and was 111 (WAY too hot to get into), and it kept tripping the breaker so had to keep resetting it. Also departing conditions says to put trash in dumpster. Couldn’t find a dumpster anywhere on the property or road, ended up having to bring it home in a car. But over all was a great place to stay. May go back again with family. Was beautiful and just want 6 mommas needed for a Mother’s Day weekend get away. "
