"We enjoyed the quiet, relaxing cabin. The creek was the best. So peaceful. Cabin is nothing fancy but it was just what me and my husband needed to reset ourselves. Everything worked great for us in the cabin too. Definitely would go back."

"Beautiful neighborhood close to everything. Well appointed home! Quiet and comfortable. Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....

"This place was perfect for a weekend trip for me and a friend. Within ten minutes of the casino and 5 to downtown yet quiet, peaceful, and off the beaten path. The sound of the river flowing was awesome and constant and price was fair. Host Clint was easy to work with. Would definitely come back. FYI there is no hot tub (that we saw) :)"

"We did a weekend getaway so the area was mostly quite. The place was clean but for the freezer that was full of ice cubes everywhere. It is a great apartment, has just about everything you need. Clean linen which is very important to us. I would have liked a more secure parking place but we had no issues."

"Very nice stay! We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin with proximity to Lake Lure. The cabin was perfect for our 3 generations: main floor BR for 89-yr old, plus 32-yr old w/ 2 dogs, and 68-yr old middle. Varying needs and all met! One cautionary comment, and the reason for my one 4 star rating (accuracy of listing) - the fenced dog yard is secure and big, but it's very steep (not apparent in the pic), both the yard itself and the access steps. An old or very small dog could struggle. Ours were...

"This was a relaxing get away in an area that we had not experienced before. Loved the creek and fire pit and our visit to Wayah Bald. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. Trimming of the hedges left and right of the drive might aid exiting the driveway less difficult and a mattress update in the second floor middle bedroom would be nice."

"Booked this place due to its good reviews and 3 things disappointed me: 1. Quality of the bed. I woke up multiple times because the bed would make noises at any movement 2. Shower with very little water 3. Cleanness of the bathroom. Could be improved"
