"There was nothing that I can think of that we needed while there except maybe a spider detector. This place couldn’t have been more conducive to our needs. The nearby park was beautiful to walk to. There are plenty of churches to choose from. We felt very relaxed and at home. The only thing that creeped me out was the big spider in my bed and one in the shower the next morning. Both of which were obliterated. Thanks!"

"This is such a neat historic home with lots of room for the 8 of us to spread out and also be together around the table playing games. "This is a great house, very nicely renovated and furnished. Plenty of offroad parking available. The house is in what can look like a sketchy neighborhood but a lot of Davenport looks sketchy. "This is our 4th time staying here. The house is very clean and very spacious for our family. We just loved seeing the sunset every night and the view of the river is so beautiful. We loved our time here. The house always smells so good. The host is great to work with and always very responsive when needed. It is close to every place we had to go in Davenport. "We had an excellent Thanksgiving stay in this quaint home right on the Mississippi river. The location couldn't have been better for us. "We were in town for our daughter’s pinning ceremony at St Ambrose so we weren’t at the rental much. It worked good for our family. Maybe I misssed it in the description, but the house sets up on a hill and there are some slopes going to the property and the stairs are a little steep. My mother usually doesn’t do steep things well since her knee replacement but she still did okay. He was great to work with and was very accommodating with anything we neeeded!!!"

"Josh was a great host and easy to reach. The place is just as described. Easy to access, convenient with what we needed. Josh even stocked a few snacks. Which was thoughtful. My only wish was for an AC unit in the living room, as it is a bit warm being on the second floor, but he did have a fan. Which did help. Thanks for opening up your home to us."

"Celebrated 50 years married with family here. Spacious accommodations, nice scenery, fun game room. A place for everyone to sleep, nice and ample dining areas, plenty of room in the kitchen. Kitchen was missing some everyday items like pot holders and a colander. Went and purchased what we needed and added to inventory. Such a minor negative for all the great times we had in this house.
