"The location was great, the staff at the resort was great! Didn’t like that there’s no parking spot for your car when you wait for the boat to pick you up to take you to the resort. The owner tells you to park on the street where you risk being towed. Didn’t like how we were charged for extra people when we were renting the cabin that fits 10 people!! They’re we’re only 8 of us. She chargers for extra adults if there’s more than 4 adults. You have to pay for a boat taxi to get to the resort. I...

"The lodge itself is good and staff are very warm and friendly. However, the access to/from lodge are terrible, one of only 2 roads was closed due to mudslide, it was horrible and finally we managed to get out from there. Be prepared for very bad gravel road for a pretty long period of time. "

"The place is in a great setting on the west coast of BC. Great place for hikers, boaters and other outdoors activities. There are no tourist trap shops selling junk souvenirs."

"This hotel is in transformation. There are obvious things being repaired like the elevator. The staff is kind, check in was fast, there is a good dining option Preston's where steak house and pub fare can be had. We had a pond view room that was clean and quiet. We got a good night sleep. There is a pool, jacuzzi, and a cedar sauna that has the right amount of chlorine (not a burninator). Fresh fruit ice water in the lobby with mint and berries was a nice touch. "This was very convenient for us as it was close to the hospital where we had a family member. Free breakfast always a bonus. Lots of options. Everything we needed. Would recommend. "
