"This Captiva home has a sensational location-on the bay with pool and spa yet only a five min walk to Gulf beaches. Moreover, it’s only a 10 min walk to the shops and restaurants in Captiva. We loved our stay here. The home has a great design so that the bedrooms and bathrooms are on separate sides of the house so it was perfectly private. We will be back!"

"We live ve Captiva and usually stay out of town a bit (near Tween Waters). But, this rental was perfect for our grandson and friends with food, shops, etc. close by. Also nice for the adults… as short walk to the market and restaurants. Our host was very responsive to our needs."

"We've stayed at the Lazy Palm many times, and we're looking forward to our next visit. We've seen other homes in the area, and the LP is our favorite. The natural light, the pool/lanai, the elevator, the golf cart and such a great location in the village. LP is a great place to relax with family and friends!"

"Tidewater is a very clean home with lots of space and spaces to accommodate a large group. The house has so many different tables and seating options that you could easily host a large gathering. Very little missing that you could want at a rental house. Plenty of towels, blankets, soap at sinks and showers, etc. that make the home easy to move right into. Extra full fridge in the basement along with the largest collection of beach chairs we've ever seen. Plenty of carts for the short walk down...

"These hosts think of everything! The kitchen could not be stocked better - has spices, all the gadgets you could want or need to cook, awesome coffee bar, and they supplied us a cooler and ice for the beach. They were quick to respond to questions. Pool/hottub were awesome and the outdoor activities rocked for our kiddos (8/11/14/14/17). Would definitely recommend this house to families!"

"We stayed at Gulf Dreams during the first week of April! We had wonderful warm weather and greatly enjoyed the heated pool and easy access to the beach. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers and the layout out of the house was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate most meals at the house. Pre-ordering the groceries was the way to go! Great communication with the property manager. The house was very clean. Highly recommend!"

"Location was great. Over all the place was very nice. Still a lot of work needed from Ian, but that is external property. Inside needs some attention...Carpet curling, wall hooks and no prints - kind of ugly, TV and wifi were at odds. Barely had any access to local news. No national news. Elevator out. TV actually went out in living room. Kept saying channel corrupt and so I’d switch the limited channels available and after 3 minutes it would freeze or cut out with the same message. No dust pan"

"Overall, nice looking unit. You will need to bring your own towels or be prepared to wash all the time. If you’re coming in the winter, bring a couple blankets. There were 4 of us, and there were 6 towels total. Other than the comforter on the beds, we didn’t see any blankets. Had to be a little “sluthy” to find a few things, like the blow dryer. There was only one kitchen spatula and it was in a hidden tray in the dishwasher and had been for some time, So, it took some digging to find...

"This was part of our family's 2nd trip to North Captiva and the island provided the perfect vacation destination. The house had all the space we needed for our group of 14. The kids loved having the pool and the trek to the beach was short and easy. We saw lots of wildlife including dolphins on the beach everyday.
