"We absolutely loved your place! I wish I had done research on the area so my boys could have brought our boat! I was more focused on securing a place to stay for the graduation that was reasonably priced. Everything listed on the website was accurate and a perfect getaway for our graduate!"

"This is most likely due to the wildlife sanctuary the property is located on, but the ticks were insane! You need to be aware of this and check your dogs and yourselves frequently. I hope the neighborhood is able to do something about this issue. I am not someone who ever complains but it warrants a less than perfect review. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for everything. Otherwise, I highly recommend staying here."

"I have stayed multiple times and enjoyed the cozy, clean condo each time. There are plenty of places to stay on the lake but Striper's is different to me and the cove is very peaceful and quiet. Nature is wrapped all around you and the owners to this particular condo are the very best I have ever worked with. "We loved the cozy living room and amazing screen porch. There was plenty of space for our two young kids, us, and my sister! There was a huge and super comfy sectional sofa and a great fireplace that we made an awesome fire in with the firewood that the hosts left for us. We had a great time hanging out in the house since it rained most of the weekend and was pretty cold. When it did clear up a little, the view from the dock was gorgeous! Had we not had two small children and our dog running...

"Cottage very clean and comfortable! Great location with views of mountains and close proximity to site seeing of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Appalachia Trail. Very nice state park at Smith Lake and would recommend to see. Host would respond quickly to any questions we had while at cottage and made our stay very enjoyable. Will definitely book cottage again to our next trip back to the area!!"
