It is quiet, with a parking spot, and we would stay here again for our next trip. For folks who like to sleep in, bring a sleep mask as the morning sun does filter through the blinds. The owners live in the big house, and respond quickly with any questions."

"The apartment was everything we expected. What you see in the pictures is absolutely accurate. The outside garden/side yard was just beautiful! Bob always answered any questions in a timely manner and was available by phone if we needed. The house is located in a wonderful neighborhood. We went for a long weekend and was able to walk to the park. Uber is readily available if you don't rent a car. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay here again in the future."

"The unit itself is well appointed and comfortable, although the washer/dryer is very cramped. Although it is a short drive outside of Corvallis, the property is lovely and very quiet. My only complaint is that the stairs leading up to the unit over the main house's garage are in poor condition with loose handrails and uneven steps and landings. That makes accessing the unit carrying luggage somewhat precarious."

"When David built this basement apartment, he did not spare expense. The design and the quality of materials, fixtures and appliances is top notch. Not to mention the top of the line Sony projector, movie screen and surround sound. It feels like you are in a theater. Of course now we are spoiled at home with our puny big screen LOL. "I am so lucky to have found Carole's cottage. It is a gem in West Eugene. The cottage is well appointed with a comfortable bed and stocked kitchen. It is in a cute neighborhood with a few restaurants and parks. Carole was such an accommodating host and helped make my trip so special. I was solo parent traveling with my baby, and Carole was able to provide a crib and high chair, allowing me to pack more efficiently. "My brother and I stayed here just one night; the night before the Eugene Marathon. We didn’t really have a lot of time at the property as we were getting prepped for the run and left at 5:30 AM to get to the start line. The space was clean, tidy and well organized, and Ginnie, our host was welcoming, helpful, and generous. I would definitely stay again!"

"Clean place. Good to note the train track is on one end & the planes from PDX fly straight over. With that typed, it was fun watching the trains! The sound did not get in the way of our sleep in the nice cozy bed. Nice little snacks & bottled water was a lovely touch! "Friendly consistent service and staff. Even though the area is geared toward car transportation it is doable to walk Fred Meyers and/or a few shops, restaurant, fast food. Distance one way is less than 2 miles."
