"It was a great cabin! We all enjoyed it very much! The hill to the water was brutal. I would recommend fixing that for clients or be more up front about it. It is dangerous unless you are about 11-35! The location was great and very easy to get to and close to town."

"Cabin appeared to be an older updated River Cabin, but had newer Appliances, furniture, fixtures and paint. The moth ball smell was 'overwhelming' until we aired it out. It overlooks the river, with a beautiful view. Unless you plan a little hike, you'll want to drive down to the river and fire pit. Might be a little challenging for a small vehicle. Our stay was to kayak, parked a truck at the cabin landing and had no problems. Would deffinatley recommend, plenty of room and totally enjoyed or...

"Rental was clean inside, but the deck area needs attention. There was a thick layer of pollen on all the furniture, and a dead bird in the center of the floor. It was filthy. It appeared as if the deck hadn't had attention or cleaning for a long time. It definitely was not prepared fir the rental."

"Brief three-night visit while kayaking. We are sensitive to must, molds, and masking fragrances; but no issues here at all. Very clean. Wonderful choice of memory foam mattresses. "All of the beds had clumps of dirt, sand, and what looked like dog hair in the sheets. The dishes were filthy and thrown in the cabinet. The trash cans had garbage in them. We ran out of dish soap. There were no extra trash bags in the premises. Directions to the property could have been more clear. For the price we paid for two nights and the condition of the home when we arrived, we were very disappointed."

"Becca was a sweetheart. our room was overbooked by mistake. She went the extra mile to ensure we found a place just up the road to stay for the very busy weekend. We were so thankful that the local hosts all work together to ensure everyone has a great stay in the area. Thanks you so much for your willingness to work together to solve these kinds of issues. "The lack of variety of pots and pans were a bummer. Plus, the ones that were there were dirty. Consequently, we had to change our plans about cooking in the room, except in the microwave. Only 4 place settings of flatware, even though the cabin has sleeping for 8. However, watching the eclipse from the parking lot was spectacular! Didn’t have to drive anywhere to see it so we didn’t have to fight any traffic. That, in itself, made up for any inconveniences in the room itself. The area is...

"House was immaculately clean, in extremely pleasant surroundings. The deck was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings very much, overall a nice stay but there were some challenges. On the downside: We had some difficulty on the steep gravel driveway with our one non 4 wheel drive vehicle. The mattresses on the main level were extremely firm and uncomfortable. I was traveling with 2 disabled elderly folks, which I had discussed with the host; the queen sized bed sat up way too high...

"I love staying here. It is so clean and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and having my coffee on the front porch soaking in the beautiful natural world. It far enough away from town to enjoy the quiet but close enough to grab delicious food for meals. I’ll always stay here when visiting Eminence."
