This hotel is wonderful! Lobby is impressive, rooms are beautiful, spacious, charming. Good linen. Bathrooms are great, with hot tub, good shower, soft bath robes.
Hotel has a lot of commodities (jacuzzi, swimming pool, gym).
Staff is very nice and polite.
Breakfast is outrageous! I've never seen so many options of food for breakfast. Everything was delicious.
The train station is located inside the propriety to take you to Machu Picchu.
The only thing that we didn't appreciate as much was the restaurant for dinner. The food was good, but not exceptional. And the wine list was the most expensive we saw in Peru (wines costed 3 times more than they actually do). There is a restaurant in Urubamba, about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, called El Huacatay, which served excellent food and cost about one third of the price of the hotel. It's nice for a change.
Their bar is very nice, with great cocktails.
It was overall a wonderful experience, worthy of the investment.
