"This was our first trip to the Black Hills, and the Little Elk Cottage was the perfect setting for our trip. The cottage is adorable, very private and within reasonable driving times to the area’s attractions. The cottage was well equipped and well furnished. We had a very relaxing getaway, and would recommend the cottage to anyone visiting the Black Hills area. Herb M."

"Loved the property. Very nice way to relax after a day of driving. Geese & ducks are hatching their young on the river. Was cool to listen to them speak to each other. Unusual layout, but it works!! Beds were comfortable, furnace heating was amazing. The house behind the property made us uneasy, but we kept to ourselves. I think you should own more properties for rental if you can. God Bless. "This was, by far, the CLEANEST place I’ve ever stayed!!! The views from the deck were amazing! The hot tub was soooo awesome!!! WiFi was good for texting and some surfing but not necessarily for streaming. However, staff was very prompt to come check on it! We were there during the off season so it was super quiet and peaceful ♥️ We loved seeing all the deer and bunny rabbits!! "
