Lovely location
This property is nestled in a great neighborhood and within a short distance to Botanical Gardens and restaurants. Very quiet, too. Our only complaint - uncomfortable beds.

Visiting friends in St. Louis for a long weekend.
Nice neighborhood with convenient on street parking. Excellent location with walking distance to several local eateries and Shaw Botanical Gardens. Full size bed and twin bed were comfy. Very nice stay!

Family road trip
We decided to take a road trip from Michigan and spend our Spring Break exploring St. Louis. This was good for our family of 4. Clean, awesome location 10 minutes from everything. The neighborhood was very cute and charming. It was priced well too, definitely a lot of bang for your buck and way better than a hotel at a similar price point.

Good location
It was in an amazing location. Most places that we went were within 10 minutes. The communication with the hosts was great and they were quick to reply to any messages. It was very clean and comfortable. The only negatives that I have were that there were steep steps up to it, which was fine for us, but it was not put in the description. Also, we stayed in the downstairs unit and we had people stomping, running, and yelling for most of the day. It was a quiet neighbourhood though and things settled down at night with the upstairs neighbours.

Perfect for stay near everything!
This unit is just as it is listed. It was clean and comfortable. We were close to all the city’s attractions. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Perfect stay for our family of four!

Wonderful stay!
The property is exactly as listed! Very clean, comes with everything you need - and much cozier than staying in a hotel. Located within walking distance of some great places to eat and the neighborhood is very quiet! A great stay!

The condo is in a nice area of tower park. Very convenient to restaurants and the expressway. The condo itself was clean and had everything you would need. The host was very professional and responsive.

Botanical Gardens
We totally enjoyed our stay. We were able to attend the glow at the botanical gardens, which was world-class! Also, walking through the neighborhoods, and in Tower Grove Park is fabulous! The accommodations were perfect for my needs. Easy access to the freeway and different parts of St. Louis.

This was a great apartment; great for 2 or 3 adults or children. Clean, great location with plenty to do in the area. Property owner very helpful and responsive and available. We will stay here again when in the area.

Thanksgiving in St. Louis
The property was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect since our daughter and her family live half a block away. The bathroom is new and the hot water is great. The HVAC system works very well.

Great location!
We loved our stay at this property. It was in a great neighborhood and so close to so many places to visit. We loved being close to the Botanic Gardens and Tower Grove Park. It was also only about 5 miles from America's Dome! We liked being able to walk through neighborhood and visit the cute restaurants. The house was comfortable and convenient. Will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

Great location
This property was perfect for our 4 night stay with our dog. Easy access to the Missouri Botanical Gardens, the Hill, Forest Park, Webster and Washington universities, and downtown. We enjoyed walking our dog in the surrounding tree-lined neighborhood. Street parking was always available beside the rental. Owner was easy to contact and quick to respond. No complaints!

Nice Place That Suited Our Needs
We really enjoyed our stay. The place is very nice. We chose it due to the location being near our St. Louis relatives. It is also nice being only a couple of blocks from Missouri Botanical Gardens and only a few blocks from a couple of restaurants and a block from a coffee shop. The accuracy of the online listing would have been rated a 5 by me except the map showed it was on Flora when it was actually on Russell. The basement where the laundry is located could have used a cleaning but the apartment was vary clean. The owner was very helpful and answered all of our questions on VRBO. We would definitely stay there again in the future!

A 2-day layover in St. Louis
My daughter and I drove across country and we stopped for a couple of days in St. Louis so she could attend a conference at Wash U. I hung out at the VRBO with her dog. I was able to work and rest and the place was very comfortable.

Cute & Cozy
I really enjoyed my stay here. The neighborhood is in a perfect location, very close to nightlife and not too far from downtown. I felt very safe and comfortable there, as there were lots of people walking around and they were all friendly. The place itself was clean and well decorated. The host was very nice and responsive. Overall, a 10/10 and I will be keeping this in mind for future visits.

Stay-cation before relocation
We had two weeks between the sale of our home and the availability of our new home out if St Louis. This location was a perfect spot to enjoy the city before relocating! We took advantage of all the MoBot and Tower Grove had to offer, and the convenient location to 44 made it easy for us to get to work and summer camp. Will be back for visits back to St Louis!

Great location and nice place
Nice property in a great location within walking distance of Botanical Garden and Tower Grove Park. Couple of minutes drive from The Hill and good Italian restaurants. Easy check in, AC worked great - critical in St. Louis during summer - and very clean. As another reviewer noted, the twin bed is quite firm and the queen bed is very, very soft but this was fine with us. Also, as is the case in most older homes, the washer/dryer was in the basement and going up and down those steps with laundry could pose a bit of a challenge for those with mobility issues. Again, not an issue for us. This is a great place and Diem always answered promptly and with courtesy whenever we had a question. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location near Shaw Garden/Tower Grove Park
My wife and son and I can highly recommend this apartment. I grew up in St Louis in the 1970s and 80s and returned to town from New York to see several relatives and friends this past week. The location is central to many sites of interest, namely Shaw's Botanical Garden. I am a runner and enjoyed early morning runs around and through Tower Grove Park, where I exchanged pleasantries with other runners and walkers. Walks through the Shaw neighborhood after supper were delightful, as we regularly exchanged greetings with other walkers and enjoyed viewing the historical homes and well-kept gardens. There was a large and festive farmers' market on the Saturday morning of our stay at the west end of the park, and live music on a Wednesday evening. The apartment itself appears to be newly remodeled with all modern amenities tucked within the old charm of the building (I would guess construction between 1910 and 1925?) and neighborhood. We enjoyed absolute quiet. Host Diem is quite responsive and helpful. One friend from the suburban fringe of St Louis stopped by and declared that she would strongly consider staying at the apartment as a stay-cation for a few days, particularly when there are special events of interest at the Park or the Garden. Enjoy terrific meals out in both the Shaw neighborhood and the adjacent Hill neighborhood. Try to stop by Jay International Grocer. I am a St Louis (suburb) native and I give this apartment/management/location my highest rating.

Great location!
Cool neighboorhood, close to Botanical Garden and restaurants. Check in and out was simple, good communication with the owner. The beds could use some attention, the twin was rock hard and the queen seemed like an air mattress that needed to be reinflated. Might want to check the bathtub drain, it's pretty slow. It would be a nice touch to add some coffee and guest shampoo and/or soap. Clean and easy to find, on street parking was plentiful.

Great Location for a Visit!
Centrally Located to all of the sights/places we wanted to visit while in St. Louis. Easy access to Highway made jaunting around town a breeze, and walking distance to Tower Grove Park and Missouri Botanical Gardens was a HUGE Plus! Friendly people throughout the neighborhood, and lots of dog-walkers... Pleasant visit all around. One negative was spotty Internet access, which always seemed to drop when we were in the home in the evening, for some reason, but the Host quickly corrected each time we messaged about it.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The interior is gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable! Communication with the Diem was quick and easy. We arrived a bit early and he not only accommodated us but recommended an awesome coffee shop (Fiddle Fern) which has great coffee and avocado toast! Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! 5 stars!!

Clean, Comfy, and Convenient!
This turn of the century home was clean, comfortable, and convenient to most places we wanted to visit. Set in the Shaw District- this area seemed safe and well kept up. We were 5-15 mins to places we wanted to visit or eat at. It was perfect for my 12yo daughter and myself and should fit the needs of any1-3 people wanting to feel at home while in the STL area. Dog friendly- yet we left ours at home. Clean: Every part was clean and the furniture, bedding, appliances, and kitchenware were new. Comfortable: The updates made it nice, while the age of the home was nicely kept in the floors, doors, etc. You do feel the history inside and out, but with modern touches! Convenient: parking was right outside, a small fenced back yard, and location to lots of cute shops, restaurants, bars, and popular sites was great! We would stay here again and would suggest anyone wanting to stay in a central location that’s quiet and safe- go for this one!

Shaw House Stay
This unit was seriously so unique. The check-in/check-out process was very convenient with the keyless entry and the property owner was very communicative. The unit itself was very clean, had lots of space for us, and the fenced in backyard made it ideal for our fur babies. The location itself was awesome, and we felt very safe and close to nearly everything. I would very much recommend this rental!
