The "Irish Hills House" at the top of Prefumo Canyon has the Best View in SLO with stunning 180-degree views stretching from ocean, valley, mountain and cityscape. Our pet-friendly vacation rental has two bedrooms with a king bed downstairs and three queen beds upstairs. We store an additional reserve queen size futon, roll away bed and a 2014 'Pack n' Play' for babies. There are bathrooms on each level, a large outfitted modern kitchen and a large outdoor deck. There are great views from every window!

The coastal retreat halfway between LA and SF is a short 15 minute scenic drive to downtown SLO (Thursday Night Farmer’s Market, restaurants, nightlife etc.) and beautiful Avila Beach (spectacular beach, pier, shops, wineries, etc). Famous Avila and Sycamore Mineral Springs offer a therapeutic experience in a group setting or privately in secluded tubs set amongst the tree-canopied hillside. You are in a serene and peaceful setting, but not too far from all the action!

We are on 8 mountain top acres with world class views, hikes and wildlife right outside your door. Barbecue, share a meal and wine on the deck or picnic down by the raised garden beds. We invite our guests to enjoy fresh vegetables and eggs from the gardens and henhouse, so help yourself! In addition to our chickens, we have a pet tortoise named 'Walter' and a Koi Pond in front of the Irish Hills House.

The vacation rental is well suited to romantic & girls getaways, family friendly & cal poly parents stays, adventure seekers & coastal journeys.

This is a dedicated VRBO, which is professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival with clean and fresh, sheets and towels. The house is maintained in pristine condition in preparation to offer a 'hotel-clean' experience amongst breathtaking mountain-top views in nature and tranquility.

The Irish Hills House is across a deck from our main home. We respect boundaries and the experience is intimate and free of distraction.

Cleaning Fee: $75 (Applied once per trip)

COVID-19 SAFETY: We continue to be vigilant with Covid-19 procedures and protocols. I am a heart transplant recipient (immunosuppressed), sit on the Stanford Hospital's Heart Transplant Board and mentor perspective transplant recipients, so I understand your concerns and the associated practices with being safe. Our cleaning team have been with us for 6 years and all surfaces are cleaned, disinfected and sanitized. Masks are optional and this unique space provides for privacy, space and confidence when mask free. The air is clean up here and it really is a place to feel secure, recharge and retreat. :)
