"Debby explained clearly bus routes, and left a bus timetable with the nearest stop to the cottage marked on it. She recommended places to visit etc but there is also plenty of leaflets and booklets in the cottage for you to look up stuff. Bed was really comfy and the shower was brilliant, powerful and constantly hot."

"This is a beautiful house with a lovely, comfortable atmosphere. It’s warm, well organised ,well equipped, and easy for visitors to manage - no tricky appliances or white carpets. "Un-user friendly steps to climb to room. No face welcome. No welcome instructions or how to operate hob and microwave. One tablespoon, one dessert spoon. No pots or pans so why a fancy hob. Shower exit full of past human hair. Broken toilet seat. Dangerous low A-shaped ceiling for banging heads. No recycling instructions. No view. Shower excellent but no instructions. However, we adapted as best we could but unlikely to recommend."

"Le Cairn Cottage is in a quiet rural location in a very convenient position for travelling around the island. This is a spacious property with the benefit of undercover parking. We were very comfortable in the rooms and the kitchen was adequately equipped. There was a good supply of bedding and towels. The well-kept garden added to the appeal of this property.
