Renovado, limpo, lindo mas precisa melhorar
Tenho pontos muito positivos e outros nem tanto sobre ho hotel. Vamos aos positivos. O Hotel foi renovado e está muito bonito. O quarto é muito confortável e tem um tamanho muito bom. As piscinas tem bom tamanho e são bem cuidadas. A quantidade de cadeiras nos pareceu razoável, assim como a quantidade de bares. A parte negativa fica pelo mau humor de boa parte dos colaboradores do hotel, o fato de ter somente um restaurante buffet o que acaba forçando você a comer as mesmas coisas todos os dias e o baixo entretenimento oferecido pelo hotel. O ponto mega negativo é a péssima qualidade do restaurante FOGO. É lamentável que um hotel tenha um restaurante a la carte com um a qualidade desta. Aliás os restaurantes são quase impossiveis de serem reservados mesmo que você tente fazer isto no primeiro dia de sua estadia. Meu resumo aqui é. Vale pela infra estrutura, pelo café da manhã e pela beleza natural do lugar. Não vale o valor que cobram e olha que já estive em diversos lugares do mundo em hoteis mais simples e mais sofisticados, mas este deixa bastante a desejar em alguns pontos.

O pior resort “all inclusive” que já me hospedei
O Tropical Caribe Deluxe é um resort all inclusive bastante comum, com nada de extraordinário. O atendimento é bem fraco, muitos funcionários desatenciosos e de mau humor. A qualidade da comida é nota 6, nada de excepcional e deixa bastante a desejar na variedade. A qualidade dos doces é péssima, todos (sem excessão) são muito ruins. A área das piscinas tem poucas espreguiçadeiras… as pessoas acordam cedo e colocam suas toalhas para “marcar território”, o que torna quase impossível ficar a beira da piscina te obrigando a ir para a praia. A qualidade das cadeiras de praia são péssimas… Outro ponto negativo é que o resort dispõe somente de UM ponto de troca de toalhas… ou seja, pode ser que seu apartamento esteja muito longe deste local te obrigando a caminhar muito para fazer esta atividade. A qualidade dos “restaurantes temáticos” é péssima! Tivemos uma experiência horrorosa no Restaurante Fogo (que seria uma espécie de rodízio de carnes). O restaurante mexicano é outro que a qualidade é péssima. A qualidade das bebidas alcoólicas do all inclusive padrão é sofrível… quase intragável. MAS… se você estiver disposto a pagar 40 dólares a mais por dia eles vão te servir bebidas de melhor qualidade, te oferecer uma área privada na praia com espreguiçadeiras de qualidade e dois restaurantes exclusivos que dizem ser muito melhores que os demais. Ou seja… você paga para ficar hospedado num ALL INCLUSIVE mas tem que pagar a mais para ser bem atendido… jamais voltaria.

Estamos contentos que nos haya escogido como su destino vacacional pero lamentamos que su estadía con nosotros no haya sido de su agrado pues nuestro objetivo principal sera siempre la satisfacción y seguridad de nuestros visitantes. Por otra parte queremos ofrecer nuestras más sinceras disculpas por algún posible inconveniente que haya podido tener mientras se alojaba en nuestro hotel y recordarle que tenemos un departamento de atención al cliente que siempre esta dispuesto a ayudar durante su estancia, ya que este no es el canal adecuado pues por acá se nos hace imposible y poco podemos hacer si usted ya se encuentra en su país de origen. Its was nice for familys with kids. Wish they’d let you know the restaurants aren’t like other restaurants u dont get to pick what you want everyone gets the same thing. Not good for the picky eaters . And you cant take food back to the rooms, i didnt like that. Food was ok . Other than that great getaway for families. O and they should lyk that the arcade and bowling isnt included in this all inclusive.

We stayed 5 days and tried to make reservations at several restaurants with full booking. Went by one restaurant to see if they had cancellations to accommodate us and were turned away because other people may show up even though they did say there was several empty seats

It was a nice stay for my boyfriend and I (21 and 23). The staff speaks very limited english and was not very friendly to Americans. The bars closed at midnight and there was a lot of children running around. The drinks were average. The beach however, was so beautiful! Do not sit in the 1st or 2nd row on the beach because you will be bombarded with people trying to sell you stuff. The rooms were decently clean. The food: I was kinda disappointed in the food. The buffet was a lot better than the restaurants. I did not like any of the restaurants. This was my first all inclusive without my parents planning it, and I would say this is a learning experience. If you want a no kid, good food and drinks, and party late vacation, this is not the place for you. Also, on the way back to the US, we had a very hard time at the airport with the workers. It of course was not the resort workers but we will not be coming back to the DR!

The place is very family friendly, entertainment for all ages. Food was okay, lots of variety. The rooms near the pool have a smell to the them, but they were kept clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful and with anything you need. The beach is calm and beautiful. Kids really enjoyed beach and pools. Also the animals in the resort were so nice to look at. Flamingos and peacocks were my favorite!

To sum it up I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone. Being an 8 out of 10 thought it would be decent but sadly it wasn't. We were put into a dirty room where the sheets smelled & had visible stains. We asked for the room to be cleaned, it barely was & the bed still smelled. I had to put a t-shirt over my pillow just to be able to sleep as it smelled so bad! Had to practically beg for water bottles and towels. There were 2 water bottles put in the lukewarm dirty fridge along with a half-drunk Sprite. Having diabetes I try to stay hydrated,had to constantly call the frontdesk for water multiple calls every day to get any water. Dont plan to be able to get reservations at any of the restaurants. Their booking system is slow and they only open the reservations 2 days at a time so had to eat at the buffet way more than we would have liked. It was mediocre. We did get reservations at the Dominican restaurant which had excellent food and nice staff. Some of the bar staff was helpful. Sometimes you felt like you were bothering them to do their job esp.the coffee shop. They were making tiktoks & were visibly annoyed at anyone who asked for a drink. We got scammed by the hotel snorkeling service & were only refunded half of our $.To make this trip even better my bathing suit cover up & sandles were stolen off the beach. This was my 2nd time in Punta cana, while the sand is very soft, water so clear and great weather, I would NEVER go to this resort again. STAY AWAY!

We spent 7 days at caribe deluxe, we upgraded to platinum looking for a better service. Also we picked this resort especially because of the kids activities and pool water slides, when my husband went to play with our daughter the security was very rude and said that he was not allowed to play with her there. Our daughter is 14months old and can’t play alone. We were so frustrated. The room was outdated, baths were leaking. A very strong mold smell in the room. After the first day we changed to a premium suite that was the same with same or worst issues. Staff were always tired with a few exceptions. Dinner was very limited. We invested a high amount into a vacation that was not worth it.

The resort is great! Really family friendly, the rooms are perfect for traveling with kids. The food is ok, not great but average Quality buffet. Drinks are good. Kids club and water park is great. About the service, half of the people were wonderful, the other half terrible. The beach is beautiful, no corals and soft sand.

Primer día se demoraron 4 horas en darme mi habitación, de tanto insistir como si les estuviera pidiendo un favor me dieron otra habitación, creo que desde ahí me agarraron tema, la cama de esta habitación olía a remojado y las almohadas estaban ediondas pedí varias veces de cada día de mi estancia de la manera más amable que me cambien las almohadas y las sábanas y JAMÁS me las cambiaron, el 2do día pedí un taxi a recepción y los tipos de la recepción de una manera burlona me dijeron que allá no habían taxis tuve que solucionar por mi cuenta, 3er día un tour que ya había pagado tenía que recogerme en el hotel y fui a la recepción a consultar si había alguien que haya preguntado por mi y la chica de la recepción me dijo tal cual -quien le manda a no comprar ese tour aqui, no le puedo ayudar. Salga y pregunté a los chicos de afuera...... Jajaja disculpenme pero desde que vas llegando al aeropuerto te tratan de convencer de que el turista es lo más importante y no es así... Es una vergüenza la manera que tratan a sus clientes parece que a nadie le interesa poner a un poco de criaturas a atender a gente adulta en una recepción. Por último pedí de favor hablar con un supervisor y el tipo de nombre Junior se rio y me dijo que ahí no había eso... Ok EN FIN pésimo hotel HASTA HOY CADA VEZ QUE ME PREGUNTAN QUE TAL PTA CANA... RESPONDO: BELLAS PLAYAS PERO DECEPCIONADA DE LA ATENCION DEL HOTEL.... NO VAYAS JAMAS PARA ALLA... Quiero rescatar algo, el buffet me pareció delicioso...

There is a park (eco park) with animals, waterponds and mangrove. You could engage in a lot bof activites (gym, tennis, archery etc. The food was average for this hotel standard. The main courses were almost the same day after day.

love that it’s right on the beach and there’s pools when you want a break from the sand. plenty of beach chairs, towel clips recommended so you can claim a spot for the day! cute wildlife, but if you want to sleep in, bring some earplugs for the birds they can be loud. quite noisy in the hallway too and could hear it clearly in my room. tv was mostly in spanish (duh) but couldn’t get english subtitles so that was pretty limited. not a big deal though. lotssss of people trying to sell things to you on the beach, but they’d quickly accept a “no thank you” or leave me alone if i was sleeping/reading my book, so i appreciated that. water bottles were provided in the mini fridge and the ice on site seems treated cause i didn’t get any stomach issues. food was pretty bad so be prepared for that, but the employees were all really nice. the app didn’t work for me for some reason, but went to the desk and they helped me make dinner reservations- if this happens to you make sure you tell them right away or you’ll be eating at the 8:30 time slot. lots of families with kids, seems very familiar friendly which is great! i will probably go to an adults only next time lol overall had a really nice and relaxing time here!

I have mixed reviews about this property. It was beautiful no doubt. The walk from the rooms to the restaurants was long, there were shuttles a available & the walk is gorgeous with wildlife around, so that’s not a complaint for me but be aware you’ll either be walking a bit or waiting for trolleys to drive you. Regarding the staff, we dealt with a few unbelievable staff members that went above and beyond, but had a few that really don’t belong working with the public in any capacity. We got the platinum upgrade, the process to upgrade is tedious. Guests should be able to upgrade online at booking or by calling the resort ahead of time. That was not an option. We had to wait to do it in person. Took forever and wasted a lot of our arrival day.That process should be overhauled. Platinum is the only way to go at this resort. Although the platinum restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. We ended up preferring the buffet for lunch rather than the special restaurant & that should never happen. Platinum for dinner was also subpar & the service was so horrible that I filed a complaint with the resort management. The following evening the same servers were at another restaurant we dined at and they were over the top superb but we shouldn’t have had to complain to get good service. The pools were beautiful but the water was very cold. We spent the whole trip at the beach on the reserved platinum section. Ocean was rough but gorgeous. Overall ok for quick trip

It appeared the dining staff in the market dining room were not well trained in customer service. You waited what seemed forever to get coffee at breakfast. Also, clearing the tables was very slow, even though there were not a lot of customers there. Often there were no bowels for breakfast oatmeal, and when you told a staff member, they would bring out just one bowel instead of a dozen so the next customer wasn’t waiting for bowels.

All in all we had a nice family vacation! It was our first time to the Dominican Republic. The weather was amazing - we travelled in April so it was hot but not crazy hot. We travelled with our two boys (ages 4 and 2) and they thought the resort was amazing. The kids waterpark was so fun and great for kids of all ages. They also loved the wade in area of the bigger pool and how close the pools are to the beach! The beach was lovely, the sand is amazingly soft and the water is so warm. We often reserved chairs with towels in the morning but if we didn't get a chance to there were usually chairs available. We stayed in a "family suite" and suited our needs perfectly - but we wish the balcony was off of the main bedroom and not the kids bedroom. We weren't able to go sit out there at night without waking them up. The overall design of the property is beautiful though! The designers did an amazing job, it feels very modern but welcoming. The only true downside to the resort was the food - I would give it a 5 out of 10. The "Food Market" buffet has plenty of options but they leave a lot to be desired, and feel repetitive. The "Beach Club" at lunch has decent options as well but after a couple days they feel pretty old as well. Wish we had known how quickly the restaurants book up because we definitely would've booked them way in advance to give us a few more food options.

Overall I really liked this resort, I went with my husband and two children and the pools were nice, the beach was amazing, staff overall was friendly. Entertainment was fun overall, but definitely felt like they needed more entertainment staff around the resort. Food was pretty good overall, lines for certain foods were a bit frustrating. Juices were absolutely terrible, no natural juices representing the country. The one thing I did not like was that there wasn’t a proper tour or introduction to resort amenities, I was handed a map, but the resort was quiet big and hard to navigate walking with two toddlers.
