"The house was clean. Communication with management company was subpar. We got scripted responses to all questions, and false information. For example, we asked if hot tub was working and was told it was. When we arrived, the hot tub was broken and dirty. Also, check-out is at 10am and there is nowhere to leave belongings if you’d like to stay in FI for the day. They should allow a place to keep luggage prior to departure. Overall, great and clean house and amazing location!"

Our main issues, and why this isn’t a 5 star rating, were that multiple lighting fixtures weren’t working and there was an entire bed missing. The ad mentions “1 queen, 1 double, 4 twin’ beds however there’s really 1 queen and 4 twins. This could have caused a big problem if our group was just a bit larger. The ad should be changed to reflect the accurate information...

"The property was misrepresented and unsafe. My parents didnt stay with us due to conditions of the property. We contacted Vacasa the rental management company and decided to leave the property and stay with friends as the windows were broken and shattered and the master bed was broken, no wifi, no functional washer and the list goes on. "We all had an amazing time. Convenience to the beach was a bonus. Spectacular views of the ocean n the bay. Plenty of space , screen doors were annoying ( but I also live on the beach and understand how beat up everything gets). Would definitely rent this house again."

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was set up perfectly for two families traveling together. The beds were comfy and we loved the outdoor showers. There were only two bikes for 9 of us so we ended up renting. There were also not enough beach chairs and some were not in great shape. The fridge in the kitchen needed to be replaced and there were not enough coffee cups and dishes."

"The house was spacious with a lovely outdoor deck and plenty of lounge chairs around the heated pool. The outdoor shower and bathroom was such a great amenity. There were plenty of beach chairs & umbrellas as well as a cart for a short walk to the beach. Town and restaurants were a short walk too. The central air worked well. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We loved the chandelier in the rooms it added a cozy feel."

"We got to the house and it was a lovely house, in a great location. The garbage outside had meat and other garbage not in bags. The storm door was broken which we fixed ourselves, the floor was full of sand, the air conditioner in the kitchen didnt blow cold air and the fan in the ktchen didnt work either, the remote was nowhere to be found. I think some of our money should be refunded."

"We have rented several houses in FI, but this house was probably the best yet. It was thoughtfully planned out for a beach vacation, had a well equipped kitchen for people who like to cook as we do, everything tasteful, comfortable and clean! Perfectly situated to the beach and the market. Relaxing backyard deck, comfy beds, beautiful newly renovated bathroom. And, Karen is an excellent and attentive host."

"4 families came from CA for a graduation celebration. Enough room and beds for all 10 of us. Easy access to lake. Backyard is huge, had fun playing badminton and volleyball. Also lit a fire at the fire pit one night. Managers were very responsive to our questions and requests There is a projector and we were able to watch movies at night. Pretty cool. Had a great stay."

"The location of this property is excellent. Right on a cove so you could put in and out kayaks, etc. if you wanted to bring them. Location is convenient to grocery stores and drugstores and a variety of restaurants. The best part besides the location is that I could have my best, furry friend with me"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this Bay Shore, NY accommodation. It's nicer than the photo, which really doesn't do it justice. It's spacious, very clean, thoughtfully and carefully planned and provisioned. Augusto is an excellent host. Communications with him were always clear, timely and pleasant. We felt safe and comfortable - We'd definitely stay here again."

"Very nicely done property on Long Island, literally minutes off of the LIE. Bed was very comfortable, neighborhood was very quiet, hosts also very quiet. This location was ideal and very cute. Tall ceiling helped to make it feel larger than just one room. Loved the large walk-in shower. Host was very easy to contact, quick to respond, and very accommodating regarding late night check-in. Highly recommend and will consider this location first for our next trip to LI."
