Limpeza e anúncio deixam a desejar
A localizacão é excelente, ao lado do Central Park e conseguimos ir praticamente para todos os pontos turisticos a pé. A rua do hotel é cheia de bons restaurantes. Tem uma Five Guys ao lado do hotel. Porém o hotel deixou a desejar em alguns items como na limpeza, pois atras da televisão está horrivel, queriamos usar o HDMI na TV mas era impossivel colocar a mão ali. O quarto entregue tambem era diferente do anuncio, não tinha banheira nem cama queen, falaram que iria nos colocar em outro quarto mas nao o fizeram. O anuncio fala de um biz center, mas eles falaram que nao tem. Tive que trabalhar sentada no corredor enquanto a moca limpava o quarto pq as cadeiras do saguao estavam todas ocupadas. Também não me atentei ao fato de nao ter frigobar no quarto, e nao oferecem estacao de agua.

Muitos aspectos a melhorar
Localização ótima, na mesma rua do St Regis e The Península, próximo ao central Park. O banheiro parece reformado, tem tamanho bom, não molha tudo durante o banho, tem bons espelhos e bom secador, mas o quarto deixa muito a desejar: cama mole, parece antiga, pequeno, com aspecto de antigo mesmo, merecia uma reforma. Então eh nada mais que um hotel razoável com ótima localização.

Pontos positivos: - Localização excelente (na mesma rua dos dois hoteis mais bacanas da cidade, o St Regis e o The Peninsula); - Staff gentil e solícito; - Limpeza boa e eficiente; - Sempre tinham amenidades na recepção (água saborizada, chá, cookies). Pontos negativos: - Não aceitam dinheiro como forma de pagamento; - O quarto tem uma estrutura BEM básica, não tem frigobar nem cafeteira, por exemplo; - O quarto (KING) é bem pequeno; - O banheiro é de vidro, ou seja, você tem pouca privacidade.

Great friendly staff and very convenient location. The bathroom was a nice size although the sink and tub were dated. Our a/c did not work very well, the mattress wasn’t the best and the furnishings in the room were dated. Also there wasn’t a mini fridge — which is normally a standard inclusion at a hotel.

A little dated but very clean, staff was exceptional. Really good given its proximity to things for cost. Heater/AC were a little touchy but otherwise I thought it was great!

The location is excellent. The staff were friendly. The room and the adjacent bathroom are spacious considering the location. But the facilities (the desk, the TV set and the bed including the mattress on it) and the furnishings in general could be much improved. They also did not provide slippers, etc.

Inexpensive hotel in high.rent district. Sparsely furnished. No fridge or even water. Locks to room didn’t work with three key changes until the internal handyman discovered the battery was dead. Finally fixed at mid-night. Service from reception, however, was fine and friendly. We would likely choose more upmarket hotel. Can only book on line.but reception upgraded us to suite at no cost.

Very good basic hotel -- not the type with a minibar in the room, or even a one-cup coffee-maker, but clean and comfortable, and the staff was efficient and pleasant. Mid-town Manhattan location is crowded and busy, but a convenient location for restaurants, public transportation, etc. Starbucks in the lobby is a nice touch.

The lobby and restaurant look very nice, then you step into the room and its 1980 something. Least the bed looked new and nice new linen. But, no plugs near the bed and some, the plug would just fall out. The carpet is old and looks dirty. We had a balcony...which was filthy and had lots of bird poop on it and the furniture. I would consider it over priced for the quality of accommodation you get.

The staff is very efficient and nice. Rooms are clean and the area is great. My only complaint was that I had booked two rooms for my travel companion and I but we were placed in two entirely different towers. It would have been nice to at least be on the same floor. Other than that, really nice hotel.

Rooms are a little small but that is pretty normal for NYC. Room was a little dated with some wear but still nice. Bed was ok but a little uncomfortable. Very convenient location to Central Park and 5th. Ave. Shopping. Would stay again.

The location was perfect for midtown shopping. Plenty of dining options close by. The romm was very small and the view was non existent caused a "closed in feeling". Staff was fine. There was a super strong fragrance throughout that initially was pleasant but eventually gave me a headache as it was in the room as well. Fine for short trip up, one night but most likely not going to return.

The good thing about this hotel is the proximity to 5th ave. The hotel lobby smells like weed and it’s overwhelming if you’re not used to it. The hallways smell like weed too just like the elevators. I cannot believe nobody does anything about it. If I havent paid yet, I would have bailed out. They need to work on cleanliness, even my non-smoking room smells like smoke SMH

Our air conditioner did not work. We called the front desk and they sent out a guy look at it. He came back stating it was fixed. We slept in sweat as it didn’t get fixed and sweated the next night as well. We tried to stay away from the hotel as much a possible due to these issues.

Run down. Very old worn out rooms. Tattered carpets and towels. Requires a complete refurb. Avoid this hotel. Rooms are like a youth hostel standard.

Considering this is the most expensive city in the world, this hotel is not so bad for the price (I booked 6 months in advance for Easter weekend). The lobby, hallways and room were all clean. Every staff member we interacted with was A1. Room was made everyday (unexpected since a lot of hotels are cutting on that). A few loose screws (shower head, faucet) but nothing a maintenance man can't handle in a few minutes and it certainly didn't prevent us from using them. Wifi is below average - this needs improvement ASAP.
