Minha estadia no Hollyday Inn
O hotel, no geral, é bom. Uma ótima localização e quartos limpos e confortáveis. Só achei que a iluminação é fraca no quarto. E outra coisa que realmente não gostei foi do pessoal da recepção, sem nenhuma simpatia e que não faziam a mínima vontade de ajudar com as dúvidas, principalmente, se vc não fala inglês.

Não voltaria nesse hotel
A minha experiência foi horrível, o serviço de arrumação de quarto tem que silicatos todos os dias, senão não arrumaram o quarto. As toalhas vc tem que pegar todos os dias na recepção, o lixo do banheiro e do quarto vc que tem que colocar para fora do quarto para retirarem. Quarto super pequeno. Quando chegamos o banheiro não tinha cortina, molhou todo o banheiro. Depois de solicitado a cortina eles instalaram. A localização não achei boa, pq a 8ª e a 9ª só tem pedinte, moradores de rua e muita malandragem. A cama e o travesseiro esram até que confortáveis e o café da manhã tb era ok. A fila para subir no apartamento depois do café era surreal…. Já descíamos prontos para sair depois do café. Se desse vontade de ir no banheiro, tinha que ficar na fila. O hotel não comporta a quantidade de pessoas que hospeda para 2 elevadores. Sem contar que cobraram tarifas a mais e no check out ficaram de me mandar um e-mail me explicando o ocorrido e até agora não recebi nada.

Hotel satisfatório e de boa localização
Hotel com boa localização, a poucos quarteirões do Times Square. A 8th st que é próxima do hotel não é tão comercial/turística como a 7th, 6th e 5th, mas também não é esquisita. Tem estação próxima que permite vir do Aeroporto JFK e andar poucas ruas (Airtrain/Linha E). Possui um café da manhã satisfatório, que já é um grande diferencial nos hotéis de NYC e dos EUA em geral. Assim como a própria cidade, o hotel é bastante lotado e o fato de um dos elevadores (onde só tinham 2) estar em manutenção fazia um mini engarrafamento nos horários de pico (check-in/out, café da manhã). Recomendo ficar nos quartos mais altos e voltados para a frente do hotel, de preferência depois do 30º, permitindo ter uma vista muito bonita da cidade. O quarto é pequeno mas confortável. Não há limpeza durante a hospedagem (não importa quantos dias ficará), tornando-se necessário solicitar pessoalmente a troca de toalhas e retirada do lixo do banheiro. Recomendo pelo custo x benefício de ficar poucos dias na cidade.

I would never stay at this hotel. Though the hotel itself was decent, the booking process and management was terrible. The price is way up and costly for what it offers. Other hotels around are cheaper and with better options.

I've never checked reviews for a Holiday Inn Express before, but I wish I had before booking this hotel. Ordinarily, I can rely on HI Express to follow a standard template of being clean, well maintained, with lots of amenities. While this hotel is centrally located in NYC with a great breakfast area, has friendly, helpful staff, and a clean lobby, sheets, and towels, the rest of the property leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, it's run down. The carpet in our room was filthy and smelled of urine, the shower and sink had no water pressure and minimal hot water. The landline did not work. The beds were comfy, but the furniture in the room was well used, with scratches, dents, and stains, and there was no mini-fridge or microwave. The street outside of the hotel felt unsafe at various times of the day. While in our room, it intermittently smelled of either cigarette smoke or weed. For the price, I'm certain there are better options out there.

I booked and paid for a room for 4 days. I ended up going a day late due to my son being sick. So when I arrived they told me they gave my reservation away. And they were also going to charge me a fee for arriving late. I at that point I didn’t want to stay there at all but ended getting a room with one bed instead of the single I reserved. The room was outdated. Things were broken and it was very small. The breakfast area is set up horribly and we couldn’t even get in to see what they offered: The elevator was questionable and took a long time and we ended up taking the stairs. The lobby smelled like marijuana which was not ideal especially when your with children. The staff at desk were rude and seevice was very slow. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff a

Overall the hotel was average. It was convenient as it was close to Times Square. It was relatively clean and it was nice that it served breakfast, although it was pretty busy around the breakfast area in the mornings. There was nothing special about the hotel, but with the little time spent in the hotel, it served its purpose.

Second time staying here! Walking distance to subway & everything I needed in the heart of Times Square! Small room but clean beds, quiet and wholesome breakfast choices of carbs, dairy, juices, fruits of apples and bananas, scrambled eggs and sausages in the morning, save us $$, if you're not picky. Will choose the same hotel again.

Hotel was close to Times Square, quiet, and comfortable. I was able to adjust the heating/cooling for our room. We only had breakfast one day; and it was decent for hotel breakfast. It did have a lot of options. I really liked that I could text the front desk with questions and get an immediate response. I had wanted an extra blanket and it was brought up immediately and they also text the day we were arriving and could answer questions. They will also store luggage if you have a later flight out.
