"Wow!! What can i say about the property and our stay....wow just wow! We had a fantastic time on our stay. Julie is an incredible host, very gracious and willing to help in any way. The home itself is 5*, very well maintained, a huge garden, and some of the most incredible views imaginable. My family loved it! We wish we lived there, its so serene and peaceful....morning coffee overlooking the beach and the Mersey cannot be beaten! Next time i go back to Liverpool i hope to stay there again....

"Stayed here for a family wedding and suited us well. Nice clean simple bedrooms, small but nice shower rooms. Small house but all we needed. Only issue was we had three cars and only one permit, so had the park a few streets away. The communication with the owner was slow over questions about parking and missing items after we had left."

"We were a group of family members congregating in Liverpool to scatter the ashes of 3 deceased relatives. Despite the photos showing a lovely house it is in reality a badly maintained student house share during term time. We were a party of 15 including 5 children from 4 to 12. This house would probably be fine for hen and stag events but not for a family grouping. Issues: A trailing socket and wiring left in the hall at the bottom of the stairs, we advised the manager who told us to leave it,...

"Although the location is lovely I Messaged the owner a day before our stay to ask about the check in process. He then informed me not even 24 hours before our stay that the pool would not be open. I explained how this is the only reason we booked but he was extremely unsympathetic. The owner knew about the pool not working a week before but decided not to tell us so we would no longer be eligible for a 50% refund. There was no form of compensation. "The location was amazing for anyone going to visit Goodison Park. It is literal steps away from the back of the Bullens stand. The unit was nice, though it could have been cleaned a bit better. There were no instructions that came with the unit so we couldn't figure out how to run the central heat and had to rely on the space heaters. We also couldn't figure out how to lock the doors (lift up on the handle while turning the key!) and had trouble finding the wifi code. A simple instruction sheet...

"I was unable to stay at the property as the key was not in the key safe. I had to book another property and have not yet heard from the owner or VRBO yet about the refund."

"Easy check-in. Excellent communication from hosts. House was a good size which catered for the five of us. Our only complaint was that there weren't enough cups for all of us to have our morning tea and coffee at the same time. Two bathroom features was a Godsend."

"Unfortunately this property was not as advertised with its gleaming photos - house was not as clean as it should have been with dust and dirt present, along with a lot of hair (that did not belong to us) on bedding and carpet. The bedroom with the two beds did not have a working radiator which left the room freezing cold and unusable for both nights for the two adults staying with me. "When we arrived there were cream chargers (laughing gas canisters), drugs clip bags and smashed glass all over the back yard. Also the end of a weed joint on the top of a door frame and blood on toilet paper. Despite this we were denied our security deposit after the stay "
