Host was pleasant and communicative, house was well maintained, updated, clean, well stocked, there was plenty of sleeping and bathing available for large parties, and the river location was superb! "Perfect little gem of a home along a canal leading directly to the river. Full of thoughtful touches. The dock was a happening place! We saw turtles, manatees, crabs, cranes and tons of different fish right from the house’s backyard dock. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I looked for a place for our family to get together for a vacation and also celebrate my mothers 90th birthday. I have 3 grown children and 2 grand kids 18 months and 3 years old. "Luckily we have been able to stay at multiple places on the main weeki wachee river. This house by far has the best location. It offer good river access behind the house shallow wading water and a lovely dock. The house is clean and well appointed. You will not regret booking this house for your WW vacation."

"Outstanding location, near waterfront, tourist venues such as boat rentals, and several eateries. House was very clean and fully equipped. Although entirely satisfactory, this is an old house and has some quirks, such as a toilet sticking out of a closet in one bedroom and a very spongy floor in some places. "Overall we were pleased with our stay. The beds were comfy, location was great, and property was overall exactly as described. Unfortunately, three of the adults were attacked by fire ants all over their feet in the backyard, but I did notify the homeowner and he was very apologetic and said he would get it taken care of before the next guests arrived. Overall, great stay and great communication with the owner!"

"Our family was looking for an all in one place by the river to stay, and Joanne’s house hit the mark. The house was large enough for a family of five to sleep comfortably, and with the water out back we spent hours fishing and kayaking. We also loved making s’mores each night at the fire pit. The property was calm, quiet, and beautiful, and from start to finish I couldn’t have been happier with communication and support from our host."
