"My husband is 6 foot seven and 290 pounds so we weren’t sure at first if we pull out bed couch with memory foam with accommodate him or comfortable, but we actually had a great night sleep every night. We also slept with the windows open and the screen door because the owners have planted fruits and Jasmine and they smell incredible all night. The air was perfumed. "It was very clean and quiet. I was surprised because I thought we would hear the planes at night but I slept great. Good soundproofing-could not hear other guests. Property managers were nice and even carried our luggage upstairs. There is no elevator and we were on top floor 48 steps but it was not too difficult. Just be aware if you cannot do stairs. Good security. Very close to Balboa park. When we got there, it took a while for a/c to come on but then it worked fine."

"Casual, Easy Place to Stay! Checked all the boxes. Walking distance to fun coffee shops and restaurants. The property manager Nico was terrific and on top of everything i'm checking to check out. Really easy and communicative all the way through, which we really appreciate. It's just a relaxing little spot. We will definitely come here again"

"Truthfully the place was wonderful. But, the Murphy bed felt comfortable at first, but every night my back would get more and more stiff the next morning. By the end of the 5th night it was pretty out of alignment. This is the only reason I will not be back. I had a marathon to run after the 3rd night and my back was a mess. If I had any suggestions at all it would be to put a real bed in there, the Murphy bed never got put away so why not just get a real bed. On a smaller note, there is no dish...

"In a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to Tourmaline Beach to watch the surfers. An eclectic and comfortable studio garage conversion that felt cozy and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Tequila, salsa and chips greeted us at arrival, and we had great communications with the hosts before and during our stay. We stayed 2 days after a great blue fin tuna fishing trip…..it was a perfect place to unwind and regroup before flying home."

"We loved staying here. We were able to check in a little early. When we checked in though, there were a few things that weren’t clean, but were easy enough to clean on our own though. I don’t know if it was because we rushed the cleaners or if they just forgot those few things. Jimmy, the owner, was excellent to communicate with us. The only real problem was the pull out sofa. "Small but pretty neat studio in walking distance to so many things Sam Diego has to offer (restaurants, waterfront, public transit, bus tours, etc). Getting there I was worried about traffic noise right outside the door but it totally died down after 10pm and I slept great!"

"My children and I stayed here for a few days. It is steps away from Mission Beach. The cottage had everything you would need for your stay. There is ample room for a family. It was quiet even during the busy weekend. If you drive a large vehicle, you will need to park on the street or in the bay parking area as the garage is small. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone!"

"The location is awesome, very walkable to restaurants, coffee and beaches. We spent a little more time inside than we anticipated due to weather but even though the space is small it’s functional. The outdoor space in the back is quite tranquil and the outdoor shower was perfect to rinse the dogs off after the beach. The host was very kind and easy to get in contact with. "O quarto do hotel é excelente, mas não tem nenhum serviço de cômoda. Chegamos tarde da noite, com fome e não tinha absolutamente nada para pedir no hotel. Ficamos 3 noites e o quarto não foi limpo nenhum dia. Na primeira noite O vaso sanitário vazou e espalhou água pelo quarto todo. Além disso, o único elevador do hotel estava com defeito e tivemos que subir as malas e descer na saída sem nenhuma ajuda. "
