This hotel is absolutely stunning, right by the beach and with a beautiful pool. The Sands restaurant had a great varied menu and everything I tried was amazing for both lunch and in their included breakfast buffet. Most of the staff
I encountered we’re also super friendly.
I would say my only complaint was some of the drinks weren’t to my liking and when we tried raising our concerns to a manager, Eka Santika - he was very rude in letting us know we would still have to pay and consume the drink and their was nothing he would be able to do to accommodate us. He then proceeded to make us feel extremely uncomfortable by standing around watching us at our table until we finally decided to get up and leave (this went on for about 25-30 min). When we finally did get up, he went to where we were sitting and we saw him taking pictures of our empty cups. It was very strange, weird, & uncomfortable. I’ve had plenty of experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry and that was the first time I’ve seen a manager not work to accommodate and make the guests happy and then proceed to make the situation worse. Given that we spent a good amount of money to be here that would’ve been a nice consideration.
Aside from this experience, I would certainly recommend the hotel.
